Romantic Weekend at the Wash
Hiya everyone! Tonight I am pleased to share more finds from the Wash Cart Sale, whose Spring is in the Air themed round lasts until the 14th. All the selections on the 70+ carts are just $10L each, and there is something for every member of your SL family so be sure to bring everyone when you go. My first look is one of the many lovely choices from the Emerald Couture cart at The Wash, their EC Cheongsam Butterfly Dress. It is included in standard fitmesh sizes plus Belleza Freya, Isis, Venus, eBody, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine, with coral colored flowers to match the butterflies in the print, and perfectly coordinated trim and closures. This hunt prize from Trashed will help you celebrate Valentines Day or any spring day that makes you feel like sporting some cheery hearts. It is called <T> Adored Dress and is provided in standard, eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizes. The belt provides a nice contrast while enhancing the flattering shape of this dress.
Maybe you want to look red hot for a special occasion, these gifts have got you covered! Our dress is the hunt prize from The 100 called Roxie Dress : Red, and it comes in what I call the lucky 13 of mesh sizes: 5 classic, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink. With a sequin texture and strapless wrap style, this is one spicy dress. I added the prize from Hopes Creations, their [HC] Heart Stockings which come in red, black, and white (not shown) in system layers plus appliers for Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, Slink, and TMP. Each pair has a row of hearts down the back in a contrasting color, as you can see on the right. You can certainly pair either of these prizes with anything you wish, they are both quite versatile.
For my last look of the night, I was happy to find this RYBH - Puppy Love outfit hiding in the key at Forsaken Falls. The top comes in sizes for Altamura, Belleza Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Werwolf, Slink Hourglass, and Slink Physique, with a sweet floof (I almost mistook for a seal, which isn't a bad thing since I love all critters) and the words Be Mine Valentine. Hair note of the night: I squeezed my way into the Shop Your Heart Out event this morning by some miracle, hehe, and managed to pick up this great gift from Truth Hair there. It is called Astra Valentines Gift. This amazing free gift does not require any group tag and includes both regular and resize versions, a Stylist HUD to change the bangs, a color HUD for the bands, and a full fatpack of hair shades: Blonde, Brunette, Candy, Grayscale, Jewel, Multitone 1, Multitone 2, Rainbow, and Redhead. The event does offer gifts at just about every display and it covers two full sims, so it is worth visiting but be aware that if you do get in, it will be very laggy. I suggest adjusting your viewer settings accordingly and stripping down to a full body alpha so you are invisible. If others have their settings low enough, they would only see you as a jelly doll anyway, so no need to show off your best outfit or favorite pet at a busy event. Hopefully I will be sharing other gifts from the event soon.
Today took a wrong turn somewhere, it was supposed to be a good day but then bad news made for a somber evening. I humbly ask for prayers, positive vibes, good wishes, healing energy, whatever you believe in, for a family member facing a medical challenge. Meanwhile I am trying my best to stay positive and will try not to let it affect my blogging.
