Cupid's Conspiracy Hunt

Hiya everyone! Tonight I will be exploring a gridwide hunt with you, the Cupid's Conspiracy Hunt, which has an interesting backstory on the website to explain the lead tipped arrows we are searching for. Apparently Cupid had his heart broken so he hid the sinister arrows instead of his usual gold tipped ones that inspire love, so we have to find the lead tipped ones to save the grid from the loss of love. Then we will be rewarded for each we find, since they contain a free gift or two. The website will guide you to whether they are male, female, or unisex gifts inside, and I am delighted to show you some of the generous rewards.

First we have the Barbed Wire Kisses hunt prize, {BWK} CC Pyroa Outfit. It is loaded with buckles and studs since it is comprised of belts, so if you are a fan I do hope you find that hidden lead arrow. The top and skirt are each provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique. This is a tricky outfit to wear in non-adult sims, so I would suggest layering some matching undies or pasties beneath in those instances.

The sentiment on this gift from Fire Within made me smile, then a closer look at the stick figures inside the heart made me giggle by taking it so literally. This is the *FW* Keep Calm Women's Long Sleeve T, included in standard mesh sizes. Good news for the guys, there is a men's version inside this arrow too. I am wearing a frequently appearing marketplace gift, jeans by Delizio which come in several colors for classic and mesh bodies, with the shirt.

Next I visited Fukin Cute, where I claimed this charming Vday Top & Shorts for free, for finding their hidden arrow. Each piece comes in fitmesh standard sizes plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP versions, and there is a HUD for each with 6 mix and match textures. Some are from Cupid's happy side and others are a bit darker, so whatever mood Valentine's puts you in can be reflected on your clothing. The men's prize is also really thorough, a full outfit with HUDs as well, so everyone can enjoy finding this prize.

Maybe you need something sassy that shows you are not a big fan of love and all the mushy stuff that this holiday brings, well head on over to Mishmash Fusion and find their Kiss On The Mouse Bodice - I love you NOT. It comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique, with a pattern that says things like Down with Love and Love Sucks. There is a tank top for the men with a similar saying "I love you NOT" in a separate hidden arrow, so be sure you find the right one (or both).

For my final look of the night, we search MystRie to find their lead arrow, so we can claim this terrific reward called Your Cupid Dress. Much more than just a dress, it includes the stockings and shoes you see here as well. The dress comes in sizes for Belleza Freya, Isis, Venus, eBody, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and a standard fitted version. The shoes are in Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink High sizes, while the stockings are provided in the same sizes as the dress. I love the bows and wings on the shoes, and the stockings remind me of legwarmers from days gone by. The colors are so fun too, vivid hot pink with creamy golden trim.

I will not really be doing anything special in RL for Valentine's Day, and I know that people's opinions of the day are dramatically mixed, ranging from it being a favorite day of the year, to despising it as a commercial holiday/waste of money. I like it but am not as excited as I used to be. However you feel about it, you can make it into a Palentine's or Galentine's Day and celebrate with friends or just pretend it's an ordinary Wednesday, I hope you enjoy your day your way.
