Hiya everyone! Inspired by yesterday's group gifts, I decided to go with another post of gifts for a different free group, MGSN which stands for Maitreya Gifts Sales and News. The group notices are chock full of those tidbits, the participating designers do let us know when they have new releases and sales that would apply to Maitreya body wearers, along with some really generous gifts. Now if you do not have a Maitreya body, don't panic...a few of these gifts are wearable by classic avatars as well as other mesh bodies. You will still need to join the group for free to claim them of course, but if you like what you see then why not? :) I still wish we had more group slots, but I'm sure I am not alone in that wish.
My first very sexy look is a ravishing red dress from Fiorella, their Paula Dress which comes in sizes for Belleza Freya, Belleza Isis, Belleza Venus, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, and of course Maitreya. The style is a flattering slim fit mini dress with slender straps. Good news, that very same area holds another treat for this group, up next.
This gift is from [DM] and is in the same little alcove of the store, as you can see we have a flirty little sweetheart neck tube top named Ana. This includes sizes for standard small, standard large, eBODY, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, and Slink Physique, along with a HUD that allows you to choose from 5 different textures. I am showing two of them above, there are some fun colors and patterns to pick from. My jeans are a marketplace freebie favorite of mine from Delizio, details in the credits.
This lovely top is our MGSN gift from SweetBlack called Drapped Shirt Grey, and it is a layered delight in standard mesh sizes along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, and Physique versions and coordinating alpha layer. I like it a lot for late winter/early spring, as layering is always a fun way to prepare for unpredictable weather. I also appreciate the neutral colors, you can wear them with black jeans as I have here (my wardrobe staples from Delizio which come in system layers as well as Maitreya and Omega appliers in many colors) or a skirt, a vibrant print, whatever makes you smile.
Speaking of prints, this next gift has a HUD that lets you change the pattern to your choice of 6. It is the FLG Primavera Dress and comes in 8 fitmesh sizes including Belleza, Maitreya, and Physique, so it is another that should fit most of us. The matching alpha layer is included for classic avatars, too. A really nice touch is that the pattern on the skirt is mirrored on the little frills on each sleeve too.
One last look of the evening, this adorable look is from Moonstar, their Rose Broiderie Dress and Panties. I must admit, this dress reminds me of Baby at the end of Dirty Dancing :) The dress is sized for Maitreya, and the panties are included in a system layer as well as an Omega applier. They are hiding beneath my dress of course, lol, but are a sheer pink lace that matches the dress perfectly.
I have to apologize for my photos not being quite my best work, I switched viewers and did not manage to find all my settings to adjust things to my liking. Apparently I also missed the high res setting for photos, as well as not remembering which windlight setting I was using. I will do my best to get it together for tomorrow :) At least I found some really nice gifts and had fun doing so. Hiya everyone! Tonight I have some one-stop shopping for you, as two wonderful designers who share the same store building have plenty of gifts for various free-to-join groups. This means we can visit one LM to find Precious Designs and Rowena's Designs, and I have blogged before several times about their generous array of group gifts, lucky boards, mini manias and midnight manias, and abundant bargains. Tonight I am focusing on the current SLF&O Group gifts from both stores, as each are offering several treats for anyone who is wearing that free group tag.
This is such a cute look for spring, which I am hoping will be here before very long :) Precious Designs is offering 4 gifts right now for SLF&O members, and the outfit is gift #1 while the matching shoes are gift #2. They are both called Watch Me, and the outfit is comprised of the top, pants, and jacket you see above in standard sizes each, and a terrific HUD with 6 color choices for each piece. They are easily mixed as I did on the right, or you can choose one favorite color as I did in all the blues on the left. The matching gift of shoes are for Slink High and have the same 6 colors on their HUD to select from, such versatility is greatly appreciated.
Their other pair of SLF&O gifts have a springy feel to them too, and the colors are stunning. This is the Black Coffee Top & Leggins, along with the Black Coffee shoes for Slink High. The top and leggins each include standard mesh sizes and a HUD with 6 color choices to mix and match. The shoes have the same 6-color HUD to allow you to explore your color options, bright or dark and dramatic. I really enjoy the long tail on the shirt, it adds a bit of flair.
Rowena's Designs has plenty of treats for us as well, starting with this {RS} Vicky Dress in what I call the lucky 13 of mesh sizes: 5 standard, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink. As you can guess, there is also a color HUD for 6 possibilities of this sexy sheath dress.
Another gift that really tickled my fancy is their {RS} Webby Dress, complete with a HUD that allows you to change the color of the dress and belt independently to your choice of 5 colors. It does have a webbed texture, which from a distance almost looks like marble, and I would gladly wear this any time of year. It comes in sizes for Slink Hourglass and Slink Physique as well as standard mesh sizes.
Back to casual, this final look is a playful capris set called {RS} Brigit Top and Capri. We can wear both the tank top and crop top at the same time for a layered look, or individually if we prefer, and they along with the capri pants each come in standard mesh sizes. There is a color HUD for the tops, 5 choices for each, while the capris stay a classic neutral black with that attached brown belt. This is a great choice for those relaxing days of exploring the grid when you don't want to be overdressed. As I have been frequently the only one who wasn't wearing black among crowds of a dozen or so, I appreciate the splashes of color even more. I notice strange things while fishing or waiting at lucky boards sometimes ;)
Each day brings me a bit closer to feeling well, and my household is slowly returning to what it calls "normal". Trust me, that word is nothing more than a setting on a washing machine in my life, LOL, but I embrace uniqueness and am okay with being somewhat unusual at times. At least the people around me are feeling better than a few days ago, myself included, and I am hopeful as always. Hiya everyone! I am pleased to be back to blogging after my brief absence, and decided a leisurely exploration of the Marketplace would be a nice way to spend a Sunday evening. There are always items there for any budget, and on days you don't feel like teleporting around it can be relaxing to just surf through all the goodies for sale. It is a good way to discover new designers, or find creators who don't have an in-world store at the moment but still want us to be able to appreciate their hard work. I even have another peek for all of you from the Hipster Fair if you do wish to visit somewhere in-world, another set of nails from LIVIA.
My first look is a lovely gift from [The Sin] called Bella Dress, and it says "Love is in the air" on the front. Now your eyes are not playing tricks on you, the top has two layers (look closely at the edges and you can tell) and the top layer is sheer, and it rezzed first when I put it on so I got a good chuckle over that. The solid layer beneath did appear soon enough as you can see, so I didn't need to try to hide my little "rosebuds". This dress comes in sizes for Belleza Freya, Belleza Isis, Belleza Venus, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, and a standard classic avatar size with corresponding alpha layer.
If you are still in the mood for something red, which I find to be a very flattering color on just about every skin tone, I suggest this charming La&Li Iris Rose Dress. It can be found on the marketplace for free, and includes a fitted version for classic avatars along with Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, eBODY, and Maitreya along with the alpha layer for the classic avatar. I have always felt that roses have a timeless quality that suit Valentine's Day but every other day of the year too, just beautiful.
I do enjoy the color purple, and this next dress is an excellent example of why :) Another wonderful marketplace find, this is the Angela Dress Group Gift from Aphrodite, in standard mesh sizes but this particular style lends itself well to the alpha cuts of mesh bodies. The sleeveless look balances the high neckline so prettily.
Sometimes I really need something casual, if I am hopping around the grid doing some hunting or fishing or just exploring to find new treasures to share with all of you. This fun outfit is a free marketplace gift from AGS INC. called Womens Diva with Appliers. Based on that name, it will not surprise you that this cutie comes in system layers plus appliers for Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, and Slink. I think of the word diva as a playful expression of the fact that every woman deserves to be cherished and treated like she matters, just as all men do. Sometimes it is good to remind ourselves of that, so let this bright cheery shirt do the talking.
I recently shared a gorgeous set of nails from LIVIA for the Hipster Fair, and mentioned that there was another available there too for a mere $35L each, well I am tickled pink (and teal, with some black and white accents) to show you their Aztec Chic Nails. The HUD is compatible with Slink, Omega, and Maitreya, and features 4 different designs as you can see above. Hiya everyone! My post title refers to a gridwide dollarbie hunt I picked up a few great prizes from, the Love Me or Hate Me Hunt. The sign has a lavender frame with a heart-shaped opening in the middle, scattered with hearts, and the hunt object you will be looking for is a small square version of that sign. Find the square for just $1L and you can claim a terrific prize, and tonight I will be showing you two of them. Then there are a couple of lucky chair prizes from Kamiri (free group tag needed) and even a fun set of nail polishes from the Hipster Fair courtesy of LIVIA. So let's get started taking peeks!
This first look from Moonstar is evidence that the hunt may be technically Valentine themed, but the prizes can have a timeless quality about them. This is named Valentina Dress and Bangles (another nod to the holiday) and all this gold delights my inner magpie. The dress comes in 5 classic mesh, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, and Slink Physique sizes, and that burnished gold belt is built in to each one. The matching bangles have a resize script tucked inside, so you can adjust these beauties if need be. All this for just one linden, spectacular!
Another great find from this hunt is from Fashion Imaginings, their Love Knotted T-Shirt which comes in plenty of mesh sizes: standard, Belleza Freya, Belleza Isis, Belleza Venus, Slink Hourglass, and Slink Physique. If you look closely at the black fabric itself, there are very subtle impressions of hearts in varying sizes on it which is a playful touch I greatly appreciated. The red logo made me think of the famous Love statue in Philadelphia, something I am pretty familiar with.
Over to the lucky chairs at Kamiri, pop on your free group tag and if your initial (or a wild card "?") comes up just have a seat to claim one of many generous prizes. This one is called Persefona Dress in Brown, and is a delightfully complete gift. It starts with the top and glitch pants, in system layers or appliers for TMP, Banned, Belleza, Slink, Maitreya, WowMeh, Omega, KL Lena, and G.Inc. The mesh skirt panel comes in standard sizes and there is a notecard with a link to a video to help you adjust it if need be. Also included, the matching choker, belt, and bracelets for both wrists. It is a very sexy look, in fact I do realize that I have a hint of nipple show-through but made an executive decision (LOL) to not try to hide it for the sake of keeping the overall look of the dress intact.
Another lovely lucky chair prize from Kamiri is this Emma Dress in Green, whose combination of color and sheen reminded me of jade. It consists of the mesh skirt panel in standard sizes, along with the top and pants in system layers plus appliers for TMP, Maitreya, Omega, Belleza, and Slink. There are several colors to be won from the lucky chairs if green isn't your favorite, and I have shown a couple of the others before. This is a really versatile look, elegant and alluring.

I am running behind tonight, but since I wasn't certain I would even be able to blog tonight, I am trying to convince myself not to beat myself up too badly for it. I might take a day off from blogging to do some inventory maintenance and maybe even switch viewers. Tonight we have another of the Free Dove hunts for February, this time from alaskametro, whose makeup and clothing have long ago caught my attention for the wonderful details and colors. Their 10 prizes at Free Dove are tucked inside pretty heart-shaped balloons, which is appropriate since their full name ends in a <3 text heart (blogspot is complaining about an HTML tag being broken when I try to type it, sigh) so these light pink balloons are a great choice for a hunt object. I always suggest you check the signs at Free Dove for the hunt information, and lately there have been not just a sample but an actual prize right there for each to get you started. So these gifts consist of a variety of alaskametro's typical skillful offerings, some romantic lingerie and stockings plus sets of nail polishes and even pretty lip glosses. The clothing and lip glosses are suitable for classic avatars as well as mesh bodies/heads which is always a plus. First I took a good appreciative look at prize #10, Yvette lingerie in Fawn. The system layers and appliers for Maitreya, Omega, and Slink each have the bra and panties with or without the corset, which as you can see has straps for stockings. That is why I added the lovely prize #8, Black silk stayup stockings. These are also in system layers plus Maitreya, Omega, and Slink appliers. I really like the lacy texture, and you will be pleased to know that the lingerie can be found in a different prize in a soft teal color, and the stockings in a different shade in another prize as well.
More alluring lingerie can be found in the heart balloon number 5, "Bette" lingerie in Cranberry. It immediately brought to mind the delicate underclothing of a bygone era, with its strapless bra and high waisted shorts, each decorated with a strip of fine lace. This gift includes both the system layers and appliers for Maitreya, Omega, and Slink, and a different shade can be found in another balloon.
I switched to my Slink flat hands here after having some glitches with the nails themselves on my classic and elegant that I usually wear. These beautiful nails are the "Dark Hearts" nail polish from prize #3, and there are 5 different designs per HUD for Maitreya hands, Maitreya feet, Omega, and Slink. These manicures of various heart glitters over a solid black base reminded me of some glittery top coats I have in RL, and I deeply appreciate having similar in SL now.
Another fun set of mani/pedi looks can be found in prize #7, the "Pastel Hearts" nail polish in 5 dainty shades with tiny heart glitters. As with the other nail prize, this includes HUDs for Maitreya hands, Maitreya feet, Omega, and Slink. There is even a third set of nail polish to be found in another heart balloon, so be on the lookout for those as well while visiting Free Dove.
One more look of the night, we have some sheer "Glass" lipglosses from prize #4. I am showing 4 of the 6 pale colors included, to give you a good glimpse at the soft washes of shimmery color each will add to your system or mesh lips. These are provided in classic layers as well as appliers for Catwa, Lelutka, and Omega. Top left is #1, 3 is top right, and bottom left and right are 4 and 5 respectively. There are times I may lean towards a darker lip tone for a certain look, but with a pale skin tone I think these subtle tints are right up my alley most days.

Hiya everyone! Tonight I am sharing another fun Free Dove hunt for this month, this time from Cero Style. You will be seeking 8 small silver eight-pointed stars, hidden around the Free Dove main floor, and they each contain a free treat from Cero Style who seem to focus on standard mesh sizes for classic avatars. They can certainly still work for mesh bodies with the body's alpha HUD, but I felt it worth mentioning that the prizes are ideal for those who do not have a mesh body since sometimes the mesh bodies are catered to instead. Variety is important to me, along with inclusiveness. My first look is the Cero Style Chane Leopard Outfit, whose corset and leather pants are each included in standard mesh sizes. The corset is wonderfully detailed, and the pants could be paired with just about anything if you are in the mood to switch things up. This is found in their prize #7.
The next prize I was equally excited to show you is in star #8, the Cero Style Addilyn Dress which is provided in standard sizes. I am definitely a fan of those exposed shoulders, and the texture looks like your coziest sweater made extra sexy.
Speaking of sexy, how about this alluring tube style mini dress? This is Evana Black found in prize #5, and as with the others it is included in standard mesh sizes. The low slung belt is attached, and the streaked pattern with drops scattered on it remind me of a window in a storm at night.
Maybe you need something a bit more casual, but still want to look your best. This prize from star #2 is called Brittany Salmony and includes both the off-shoulder blouse and the loose cropped pants in standard mesh sizes for each. The colors are soft neutrals, while the pattern of the top catches the eye in just the right way. This set is another where the pieces can be mixed and matched with a variety of your favorite wardrobe staples.
One last look of the evening, this is the Cero Style Anisha Dress Black from prize #1. This daring single strap style is lovely, particularly the texture of that flouncy skirt that looks to have some glitter built in. The dress is short and sweet, a lot like several people I know ;) This is great for a night out on the town, visiting an SL club or just doing a bit of shopping while looking like a million lindens.

Tonight it is my pleasure to show you the latest Fish 4 This set at Sn@tch, which is called Just One Day and consists of 4 halter tops, 4 skirts, 4 pairs of tights, earrings, makeup, a bowler hat, and boots. Disclaimer: with 25 pieces to catch with your 7 Seas rod (a small investment that pays off so much!) it will probably take more than just one day to catch it all ;) But the items are transferable so you can swap pieces with friends, and Xan was kind enough to help me as usual. The store was just redesigned and looks terrific, open and airy with all the sections clearly labeled for our convenience, so you will certainly enjoy your time fishing there. Details of the prizes: each halter top and skater skirt is bagged with 6 sizes (5 standard and a fitmesh version) inside along with the alpha layer, and the boots are separate from each other as are the shoe base and alpha layer. The tights and makeup are each a system layer and an Omega applier, so mesh bodies/heads as well as classic avatars are covered. The hat has a resize script built in, which is always convenient. Our first look tonight starts with the Sn@tch Kari Halter Top in Army, which as you can see goes beautifully with the Sn@tch Jessie Skater Skirt in Army. I really enjoy the sassy studs around the neck band of these shirts. The skirts have an intriguing pattern and quite a flirty style.
Next you can see the Kari Halter Top in Black, which for fun I paired with the Jessie Skater Skirt in Aqua. I also added one of the four colors of tights, this is the Sn@tch Ribbed Tights in Teal. They look great in all of the color choices, and the extra short skirt is well suited to layering with the tights.
Since I switched up the color pairings above, I am wearing the reverse pair here. This is the Kari Halter Top in Teal, along with the Jessie Skater Skirt in Black over top of the Ribbed Tights in Black. You can also see here the Just One Day Earrings in Silver, large black disc earrings on silver chains. Let's not forget the sexy Just One Day Spiked Booties in Black, which fit my Slink High feet just right.
A favorite color of mine is represented here in numerous ways, starting with the Kari Halter Top in Purple and continuing with the Jessie Skater Skirt in Purple. Also you will notice the Ribbed Tights, again in Purple, while I am still enjoying the Just One Day Earrings and Just One Day Spiked Booties. I had fun adding the Sn@tch Velvet Bowler Hat as well as the final piece of this fishing set, the Just One Day Makeup. I am wearing the system layer but there is also an Omega applier to fish up if you need it.
One last look of the evening is a better view of my gorgeous nails from LIVIA. They are called Majestic Nails and their HUD features 8 different colors tipped with a golden pattern and chevron border between the gold and the base color. So elegant! Hiya everyone! Tonight I chose one of the three hunts for February at the Free Dove to show you, this one being Marquesse. Their prizes can be found in 10 small twinkly hearts hidden around Free Dove, this time they were all on the main floor and the bit of bling does make them easier to find :) Xan was a huge help as always, we did really well and it did not take us a very long time to complete all 3 in-store hunts. As usual, I suggest looking near the mannequins, behind signs on the floor, above things like those signs that tell you which department you are in (eg: Ladies Clothing, Ladies Shoes etc.) and in corners. While there, please enjoy the many generous gifts on the shelves from various designers, and head upstairs for the special sales if you wish to go bargain hunting. The main store for Marquesse can be found here, but these prizes are only found at Free Dove.
This classy casual prize is the Marquesse Phoebe Red outfit, whose top and pants are each included in standard mesh sizes. The flared sleeves and collar are an intriguing touch, while the red sweater texture adds colorful interest too.
I really enjoyed the design of this prize too, called Golden Bits Red. It comes in what I call the lucky 13 of mesh sizes (5 classic, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, Slink) and has a lovely embossed pattern along with those gilded sleeves and neckline.
This very sexy slip dress is our prize named Bachata Black. It comes in standard mesh sizes, and has a revealing back along with a fun fringe of tassels beneath a pretty lace texture. The sheer insets make this an even more adventurous look.
[Marquesse] Summer Dress Black is another wonderful prize from this hunt, standard mesh sizes drape your body in a red satin halter top with a pretty floral print skirt. I love the handkerchief hemline, trimmed in that same silky crimson. Those look like poppies I believe, they are certainly a nice addition.
For a dramatic, elegant look, be sure to find the heart containing this Amelie Blue dress. It consists of the mesh skirt panel in standard sizes, with the top and glitch pants in system layers along with an applier for Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, and Slink. I love the butterfly pattern on the front, and the sheer top with gems and lace sleeves. This is a stunning look for so many occasions.
