EnMESHed Into Spring

Hiya everyone! Tonight I have a brand new look (yes, again, LOL) and some hunt prizes from the enMESHed Into Spring 2017 Hunt. This is a free gridwide hunt that runs until April 15th, and you will be looking for small eggs in various colors (red, blue, striped, white) by following the hints on the site or at each store. I enjoy the idea of a hunt featuring mesh, from clothing to decor and even a few appliers for mesh bodies. With great stores and fun prizes, this hunt is certainly worth exploring.

Meow! This first dress is from Whatchama Call It? and is named Black Cat Dress, with a terrific leather texture accentuated by bright blue feline eyes and hints of facial features. The dress is included in plenty of mesh sizes: standard, Eve Pulpy, Eve Slim, Belleza Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. You can wrap your favorite mesh body or your classic avatar in this tube dress and look amazing, if you just find their hidden egg.

Get Frocked has a beautiful treat waiting in their hidden egg, this EnMeshed Spring Retro Dress which is included in standard sizes. The lovely full skirt is accentuated by the wide belt (built in) and the lush color really makes the floral pattern pop.

For a more casual look, head over to AdelleArts and follow their hint to track down this playful one-piece outfit with the layered look, a shirt tied at one side over a tank (or is that a bra?) with thin straps, and a pair of yoga pants all in such bright colors. It comes in 8 fitmesh sizes, including Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink, and there are even a pair of teal sandals included for Maitreya feet.

I did mention appliers for mesh bodies, well you will find plenty of those in the egg hidden at BLOSSOM. Their prize consists of seven different colors of their Costa del Sol 1 Pc on Omega appliers. This intriguing swimsuit looks amazing in teal, white, pink (as shown above left to right), green, red, yellow, or blue, just choose your HUD from this fun fatpack.

I am pleased to have an opportunity to show you a wonderful exclusive event item, these are a sampling of the Tricia Lipsticks by LIVIA and are found at A P P L I Q U E until the 6th of April. This is the Omega applier, whose pack also includes the tattoo layers for classic avatar heads, and is just $75L for 12 satiny colors which range from subtle to dramatic. I cannot pick a favorite, they are all so flattering and suit many skin tones and moods. The packs available besides the tattoo/Omega are Lelutka and Catwa, and those are $75L each which is quite a bargain for a dozen lip looks.

Okay, so as you can tell I did find a mesh head that I felt immediately comfortable with and after all the research I was doing, I took the plunge :) This is the GA.EG Barbara Bento Mesh Head, and because of the bento ability I have tweaked it several times and it looks totally different each time. I find that it isn't a drastic change from the system shape/face I had spent 9 years adjusting to my preferences, and I feel like the features are closer aligned with the classic avatar, but much improved. I so appreciate the ability to be able to enjoy a mesh head that feels more personalized, something I can identify with easier than the ones that tend to mostly resemble various celebrities or models who are gorgeous but not "me". The lips are more traditional on this head, and I like a more open eyed look as I can have here. Thanks to many group gifts and midnight mania prizes from WoW Skins and 7 Deadly s{K}ins, I already have plenty of appliers that work well with this Omega-compatible beauty, I just had to pick up the Omega relay HUD and I am good to go. The head was a bit less expensive than many I had been researching ($2800L, and if you join the free group you get a 5% discount) and that allowed me to indulge in a couple add-ons for their Facial AO so I picked up additional expressions for the mouth and eyes. You can see my mouth had different expressions in various photos, most notable in the last one's closeups where my teeth peek through :) There are two different types of lashes on their HUD, I am wearing the alpha ones for a softer feathery look, and there are eyebrows (hidden here since my WoW skin has them) and hairbases (nude here) as well as some really great makeup options.

I apologize for not blogging yesterday, it actually was an unplanned situation that had nothing to do with my new mesh head, just RL being extra difficult as it has been doing all too often lately. That was an odd coincidence that I returned with the new head. I am okay, and really glad to be back blogging, especially with exciting things in the near future like the next Wash Cart Sale starting in just a few days! Some blogger packs have reached me already, and I can tell it is going to be a spectacular round.
