Thursday This and That
Hiya everyone! Tonight I have a mix of treats to show you, from lucky boards to group gifts to the wonderful Rally To Rescue event, which you can visit until March 20th. As I mentioned yesterday, this is a 100% donation event where all proceeds are given to non-profit, no-kill volunteer rescue organizations, just click the information kiosks at the event for more details. There are dozens of items for sale, many but not all animal themed, so I hope you find something that inspires you to purchase and help out some animals in need. The other stop I made was Nala Design because it was mentioned in their group ($90L to join) that there are now 13 lucky boards and 6 of those are for everyone, no group needed. For my first look, I have selected two terrific items from Rally To Rescue. Now I am wearing some pasties beneath it, just an effort to keep my blog relatively family-friendly, and they are a marketplace gift from Pretty Things that include system, TMP, Omega, Belleza, and Maitreya appliers. My charming jewelry is from Baubles! by Phe, their Heart Paw Set that consists of the choker in scripted and plain versions, matching earrings, and a HUD for your choice of 4 metal tones. I fell in love with this precious pup as soon as I laid eyes on him, and am so excited to show him off! Fashiowl Poses is offering several pitbulls to pose with, for singles or couples and even kid sized avatars. I picked up this pretty outfit from Nala Design as their SLF&O group gift, and I must say it got me even more in the mood for spring. It is called Cocktail Dress Gem-Blue and includes standard mesh sizes for the dress, along with the matching shoes for Slink High and even the big floppy hat seen here. The color blue always soothes me, must be my Aquarius nature showing.
One last look for this evening, this is one of the many new lucky board prizes at Nala Design, and is from a non-group board. The name is Akira Black Lace, and it is provided in standard mesh sizes. I really enjoy the dramatic red back bow, draping down almost to the floor, and the back view is just as attractive as the front. Well, I still spent far too much time today watching April the giraffe, who has still not had her baby but is acting differently so maybe it will be soon. My totally random unscientific guess is that she is having a girl :) If so, my vote for the name would be Savannah. All that really matters is a healthy and happy baby giraffe to help increase their dwindling numbers. I hope you are all having a fantastic day/evening, magical magpie hugs to everyone!!
