Springtime at Kiyomizu
Hiya everyone! Tonight I get to start sharing some prizes from the Kiyomizu Spring 2017 hunt, a seasonal (4 times a year) hunt that starts at the Kiyomizu Mall and visits many main stores as well. You are looking for ninja cats of varying sizes, and I will say that this round had some startlingly tricky kitties. A few have been shrunk to the size of a fingernail and hidden underground or between buildings, and a couple were even squashed completely flat and stuck behind signs. The lesson here is to look everywhere :) What I usually do is check each store in the mall (there are scripted signs telling you how many are hidden in each building) and then click one of the floating ghosts above the walkways of the mall...they will send you to a website that tells you which/how many you have found, and the URL of the ones you still need to click. The exact URL is to each sign, not the kitty itself, and I believe this morning there were a total of 68 to be found. The hunt runs until the 9th of April so you do have almost 2 weeks left. As always, I am delighted to show you some sneak peeks!
My first look is from M*Motion, their adorable C17-05 Sakura Dress hiding in their ninja cat. It comes in standard mesh sizes plus Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions, and I really appreciate the pale pink shade and the soft ruffles of the sleeves. There is a very subtle pattern on the skirt, and it is a very pulled-together casual look that I will enjoy while gridwide hunting, among other SL hobbies.
I found another fun casual dress hiding at **milky-way, this being their 17-02 Simple Dress for Kiyomizu. There are sizes for Maitreya and Slink, but there is also an alpha layer inside so you can try them on with your classic avatar and still have a very good chance of one fitting well. The soft colors and comfy knit look will be a perfect choice for a cool spring evening.
This elegant beauty is the female prize at YEGRINA, two hidden kitties and the other does contain a matching male gift. It is called Women's Hanbok Peony White&Black, and consists of the dress and bolero in standard mesh sizes each. I showed it without the bolero on the right, while giving you a glimpse of the beautiful rear view of ruffles and delicate bow. Included but not shown, matching socks (system layer only) and shoes for classic avatar feet. Such a pretty outfit, and the mens' prize features the same design and colors.
The last look for the evening is courtesy of SHOP KERO, and is called Ao Dai Dress, which I googled because I am always curious about things :) The ao dai seems to be the national costume of Vietnam, and is a tight silk tunic over a pair of pants. Our gift is a single piece but definitely built as a tunic and pants, in standard mesh sizes and includes a terrific HUD with 12 texture/color choices for each the top layer and the pants. Versatile and lovely, what a fantastic combination!
Other than SL, the most exciting thing I did today was watch April the giraffe, so not a very busy or interesting day but the week is still young. I am looking forward to tomorrow though, because the Wash Cart Sale starts and I get to start showing you the amazing discounted treasures you will find there! I have been delighted as I have unpacked blogger boxes and gotten my first peeks at what the vendors have chosen. All I can say is to get your linden-holding wallets ready, as you will be putting lots of tiny dents in them ;) Meanwhile have a beautiful day/evening, and magical magpie hugs to each of you!!
