March Brings Luck and Rally to Rescue
Hiya everyone! Tonight I have some exciting things to show you, starting with a few lucky board prizes from the newly renovated Sn@tch. The boards have been restocked with a nice variety of clothing and accessories, and they are now located not far from the landing area outside with the fishing and riot vendors. It is a fun place to hang out and wait for your initial to appear. Then I have a cause very dear to my heart, the Rally To Rescue event where all donations go directly for the care of animals at non-profit, no-kill volunteer rescue organizations. It is organized/hosted by the Ghost Bullys MC who are dedicated to the care and rescue of pitbulls, and this is the second time I have been honored enough to blog for one of their charity events. This round you can find all the items for sale at this location, along with an info center at the sim. I am a firm believer in looking out for those who cannot help themselves, and since these beautiful animals are unable to speak for themselves I am proud to be able to help them in any way and share this information. I am particularly drawn to the wide range of available items, clothing for men and women along with accessories, tattoos, decor, and more. Enjoy!!
Our first glance of the Sn@tch lucky board prizes is their Olivia Sequin Dress, which includes standard sizes each in blue, jade, peach, pink, sand, seafoam, violet, and white. I am wearing the jade on the left and peach on the right, randomly selected, and you can see how the alluring draped style looks pretty in any color.
More lucky board prizes, the top is their Sn@tch Teeny Sheer Halter Tops and that prize includes system layers along with Omega and Slink appliers in blue, grey, jade, khaki, peach, pink, seafoam, violet, white, and yellow (pink on the left, grey on the right). The skirts are from the Sn@tch Markie Tulle Skirt fatpack which includes standard mesh sizes in a host of colors: aqua, black, blue, lime, pink, purple, red, and white. I am wearing the purple on the left above, and the white on the right. I must admit, the halter tops surely live up to the sheer description in the name ;)
One more treat from the Sn@tch lucky boards, these are just two samples from the Sn@tch Nicola Gown and Scarf Set fatpack. Inside you will find the dress in standard sizes each of aqua, blue, gold, jade, pink, purple, and silver which each has contrasting piping and skirt design. The scarves are in small, medium, and large for each color: army, blue, gold, purple, red, silver, and teal. On the left I went with the gold scarf and gold dress, while on the right I chose the red scarf to highlight the red accents of the aqua dress. Plenty of mixing and matching is possible, so you can be creative with your choice of elegant wear.
On to the Rescue to Rally event! I am very excited about this opportunity, and I am starting us off with two terrific items from Ahroun Designs. On the left the metals are black, on the right it is the red parts, just to give you an idea of just how handy this HUD is. Beautiful items, worn together or separately. One last look of the evening is another Rally To Rescue selection, this time from COCO DESIGNS. I cannot stress enough how generous it is of these designers to offer their products for 100% donations, they are not seeing a single linden of this money but all of it is benefiting animals in need. Today was a strange one, we briefly lost power early this morning but then the internet connection was acting oddly. It would fade in and out on the desktops in the house, and the wireless connection eventually gave out completely. It was frustrating (how was I supposed to keep an eye on April the giraffe?!) and seemed to be the fault of the router at first, but *knock on wood* it mysteriously repaired itself and is hopefully back without needing the service call scheduled for tomorrow. Meanwhile I am cautiously optimistic, which sums up my outlook on life in general ;) Lots of great things on the blogging horizon, more Rally to Rescue items and some hunts just starting and even a Wash Cart Sale later this month, I am excited for sure.
