Delicatt Couture
Hiya everyone! Tonight we have just one destination, Delicatt Couture, where we are going to take a look at the many group gifts they are offering for various inworld groups. Most of them are free to join, with one having a modest one-time $5L fee for joining, so you can look fashionable without spending a fortune. We land inside a courtyard surrounded by the store, so if you have your mini-map open please head to the west to find these gifts.
My first look is the gift for the MLM Frees/Offers group, which has a $5L joining fee. The gift is called Delicatt Couture - Ellen Jumpsuit - GREY, and it is provided in fitmesh standard sizes as well as Isis and Maitreya versions. The style and chevron pattern remind me of a modern take on 70's fashion, which i greatly appreciate.
Another terrific outfit is our gift for the Third Life group (free to join) which is simply called Outfit 2/20. It starts with the top in what I call the lucky 13 of mesh sizes (5 classic, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, Slink) and continues with the sleek pants in standard mesh sizing. The top is trimmed in lace, while the pants have a built in tied belt in matching black fabric.
Fitmesh Fanatics group members will find a gift here too, the Delicatt Couture - Sally Outfit - Live of love. The top and shorts each come in standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP versions. The pale pink shade is a beautiful backdrop for the design of a tree blossoming with hearts that appears on the tank top and in a smaller version on the left hip.
This lovely slip of a dress is the Delicatt Couture gift for the MGSN group (Maitreya Gifts, Sales and News) called Pauline Dress. It is sized for the Maitreya body, and includes a HUD with 3 texture choices. The lacy option on the left is fairly sheer, but the others are not transparent and have vibrant fabrics.
For my final look of the evening, I am enjoying the Karoline Lingerie which is the Delicatt Couture gift for the DM group. There are 7 colors (white, black, blue, green, pink, red, and yellow) that are provided in system/BOM layers along with appliers for Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, Slink, Eve, Lena, and TMP mesh bodies. I noticed that the past 2 days I have had an oddity with my Maitreya body and BOM layers that are underwear layers, the tops leave a gap at the bottom between the top and bottom sections (the bathing suit I wore in yesterday's blog did it with the underwear layer but not shirt/pants) so I need to contact their customer support if it continues tonight. If anyone else has experienced anything similar and has some advice, please let me know :) I used the Maitreya applier here instead of the BOM/system ones, and as you can see there is no gap at the waist. Such a pretty look, from behind it appears to be two pieces but the panel in the front joins them for a smooth bodysuit appearance.
Since it is past midnight here, my RL birthday has ended, but since I'd already celebrated over the weekend it did not really feel unusual. It was a decent day though, and a chef/caterer friend made me some delicious crab macaroni & cheese as one of the tastiest gifts I've ever received. I can't believe February is almost here, and am excited for all the new rounds of events and hunts that a new month brings.
