Lucky Emeralds
Hiya everyone! Tonight I was inspired by a group notice, a reminder from Emerald Couture that they have moved into their new location. Their group is free to join, and it entitles you to several group gifts as well as the chance to win some terrific lucky chair prizes. There are 6 chairs for the group and 6 public chairs (no group needed), so for tonight's post I decided to show you a few of each. It is just a sampling, so you might win something totally different if your initial (or wild card "?") shows up. One really nice thing about Emerald Couture is that most of their clothing (dresses or shirt/pants combo, etc.) includes matching shoes to help you complete the look wonderfully.
My first look is from one of the public lucky chairs that does not need a group tag to claim. It is the EC Bailey Dress Gray, a fun mini with pert tie and teardrop opening in the back. The dress is provided in standard mesh sizes plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique versions, while the matching pumps come in an unrigged version and a Slink High size.
If your initial comes up on another of the no-group-needed chairs, you might claim this EC Dangerous Kat White Tiger outfit. It consists of the dress in standard mesh sizes along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique versions, with matching heels for Slink High feet. They both have such fun fringe details, and I love the image of the tiger printed right onto the fringe of the dress to go with the pattern on the rest of the fabric.
One of the public chairs for which you don't need a group tag has bathing suits as prizes, including this lovely EC Sexy Swimsuit - Mermaid Ariel. It comes in system/BOM layers (shown) and an applier for Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, and Slink, with matching Slink High sandals. This just might inspire you to plan a trip to somewhere tropical, or have a beach day with friends.
This vibrant look is from one of the group lucky chairs, and is called EC Amelia Outfit Yellow. Its dress comes in Altamura, Eve Pulpy, Eve Slim, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP sizing, while the matching sandals are sized for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique (so Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink) feet. The floral pattern is very pretty, and I like the idea of combining two bold primary colors.
For my final look of the night, I chose another prize from the group's lucky chairs, the EC Autumn Outfit Brown. I actually won this in three different colors today from that same chair :) The prize includes the sweater and jeans (flat and regular versions so the pant length is different) each in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing. The sweater is a softer shade than the jeans, which have a subtle circular dotted pattern. When you need something casual and the weather is cool, you can reach for this prize.
It was a busy day, since I had to go get my state ID (like a driver's license but just for identification purposes) renewed after letting it expire a few years ago. I thought it would be really complicated since I read online that I would need several forms of identification, but it turned out that I didn't need all the paperwork I brought. The wait was not as long as I'd anticipated either, so that was a plus. The picture is painfully unflattering, LOL, but aren't they usually? I just hated not having any valid ID just in case I ever need it. I have used the expired one for a few random things but nobody ever noticed the expiration date I guess. I had several other stops to make too, but that was the most important. Tomorrow is my RL birthday, but we already celebrated it this past weekend so I am not expecting anything special and I am fine with that :) I hope you're all having a fantastic day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!
