Silk Road Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I will be sharing some free hunt prizes from the Silk Road Hunt 2022 - Crossroads Japan. The prizes are hidden inside a red pagoda, a sample of which should be on each store's hunt sign as a hint giver. The best way to get a list of the landmarks is from a notecard shared in the free Historical Hunts group, although their website has the stores listed in alphabetical order and a sampling of preview photos of some of the prizes. Each prize pagoda you find will give you a folder with the gift and the landmark for the next stop, however that notecard I mentioned is helpful because some stores have dropped or need to be temporarily skipped and the pagodas were not all updated yet. The hunt lasts until the 26th to coincide with the timing of the corresponding event, so we have about a week left to explore. I do enjoy the historical hunts as a refreshing change of pace from the more modern themed hunts, since I am a fan of variety and I tend to learn tidbits either from the historical hints or from researching things after. 

My first look is one of three prizes we can find at **DSO**. This is their Izanami Kimono - SRH22 designed for adult female avatars, and it comes in fitmesh standard sizes along with eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, and Tonic Curvy mesh body versions. The other prizes are for men and for dinkies, both in matching fabric so you can coordinate a family look. There was no hint for this stop, but they are not difficult to find so just have fun and browse around :)

Next I changed into the lovely AdelleArts Silk Road 2022 Hunt Female Prize. It includes the colorful kimono in standard mesh sizes, and the slip on shoes to fit Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink flat feet. Also included but not shown is a silky black hairstyle. The attached obi or belt is a very pretty shade of bright green that highlights the leaves of our floral pattern. There is a male kimono too, in a subtle black pattern with red obi. 

I also found great male and female prizes at AmAzInG CrEaTiOnS, so I am excited to show you the Rock and Droll Dress Skirt Top Coat 16. It is provided in a fitted version for classic avatars, and sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. There are several HUDs too so we can personalize the look, starting with the fabrics HUD that offers 2 choices for the top, 3 for the belt, and 3 for the skirt. Then there are color HUDs for each piece, so we can tint them separately as I did on the right with the green tinted skirt that started out white. 

Les Arts de Saint-Bruno is another fun stop in this hunt path, always interesting to explore :) This is their striking Antiquity Women's Kimono, two versions (stars obi on the left above, summer on the right) each in fitmesh standard sizes plus sizing for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. The main kimono's fabric has a beautiful watercolor type design, in soothing shades of green.

For my final look of the evening, I slipped into one of the three prizes from DragonLady's Closet. This is their .:DC:. Ichika Silk Road Gift, a short dress styled like a kimono with bow-adorned belt and stunning floral fabric. The gift consists of 5 standard mesh sizes for classic avatars, and versions for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. This is a very wearable prize, suitable for many occasions and moods :) The other prizes are a male outfit and a home decor item, which is 3 paneled wall hanging (triptych) of geisha artwork. 

It was a fairly nice weekend here, starting with a really fun trip to the farmers market I visit each Saturday. One of the vendors is closing their business next month though, so I will miss chatting with them (husband and wife team) each week. Then I freaked myself out by watching the first episode of the new Stranger Things season, LOL, as it is much more gory and scary than I expected. I enjoyed the first three seasons, and had seen an interview where one of the actors said it would be a much darker season so I was slightly prepared but I guess not quite enough. I am going to continue watching, slowly but surely ;) I keep seeing spoilers online so figured it was best not to wait much longer.
