The Warehouse Sale

 Hiya everyone! Tonight it's time to check out another exciting celebration of an event's anniversary, this time The Warehouse Sale. This post apocalyptic themed region and sales event brings a wide range of clothing, accessories, and home decor for guys and gals, so if this feels like your SL vibe then come on down! For their 3rd anniversary, most of the designers have a free gift in a crate in front of their display (well more like between the booths) that we can claim with their free group tag. It's open until the 18th of September, so you have plenty of opportunity to visit, pick up demos, claim those gifts, and do your final shopping :)

My first look is a combo of two generous gifts, among many that you can combine however you wish :) The top is our REKT_Cropped Top TWS Anniversary gift, a t-shirt layered over fishnet for a playful mood. The front does say "3rd Anniversary" but it's small and partly in my cleavage LOL, so you'll have to take my word for it...actually 3th, not 3rd. We receive eBody Reborn, Legacy, and Perky sizes in this gift. Then we pan down to the **Honey*Soul**Leggins_Mya which is a generous fatpack of solid colored leggings in 12 great colors. They are system/BOM layers so as long as your mesh body is compatible, they got ya covered! So versatile, I can think of lots of things I have blogged recently that would go delightfully with at least one color of these terrific pants.

This charming set is the AURICA Milli Outfit NUDE, whose jacket and dress each fit eBody Reborn, Legacy, Perky, and Maitreya mesh bodies. They have that cute curled lettuce edging, and the neckline really frames our cleavage :) Silly story, I'd switched to the Legacy body today and am still getting used to it...so I needed to use its HUD to hide a couple prominent body parts (the nipples, LOL, they were poking through) and from lag and inexperience I somehow managed to accidentally apply a neck blender color that was painfully obvious and I couldn't find how to get rid of it >.<  Yikes! There was what I thought was an eraser icon at the bottom but it didn't work, so I wound up having to reset the body to the default settings. I'm sure I missed something obvious and simple, or the HUD was just being quirky, but that was my brain fart moment of the day ;)

I decided I needed something tasty, so please allow me to tempt you with the :[P]:-Berry Cupcakes gift from Petrichor. You can choose from raspberry or strawberry each in left and right versions, or a rez version for each to use as decor. There is also a napkin and fork set to place nearby the decor cupcakes, if you have guests and are feeling extra fancy :) Clearly I didn't bother with a fork here, because how would I even hold one when I'm double fisting the sugary treats?

Next it was time to show off another duo of gifts, starting with the Bipolar - Butterfly Top - Fatpack. There are sizes for Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn bodies included, with a HUD that offers 20 textures for the top and 6 colors for the 3D butterflies that have landed on it :) There are some patterns and some solid hues for the cropped top, so click those buttons and have some fun! The #KLUBB - "Valentina" Booty Shorts [Razor Blade] gift matches the flirtatious feeling, being skintight and dipping below the navel but still cut relatively modestly. They fit Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies with ease. 

My final look of the evening had me humming "Putting on the Ritz" but with a slight lyrical substitute ;) It's our [Glitzz] Cibelle Dress - Gift Black, and what a sexy treat this is! It is so elegant with those cute little bows and lace, and the garter straps in the front adding some sizzle. The gift includes Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh body sizing. Putting on the Glitzz indeed! 

I feel like my day might best be described with the Kermit flailing gif, LOL, not that it was bad but very busy. Tomorrow will be just as busy, as well as Friday, so I might as well get used to it. More Uber Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are visiting several Uber Event participants' mainstores, specifically the ones whose anniversary gifts for the event are located in their shops instead of at Uber itself. How do we tell? Well most of them have a landmark in the giftbox (decorated with gold and black balloons tied to them, easy to find) but a couple had a sign at their display instead of the box but all offering the landmark or opening our map directly for us to teleport there. To make things easier of course, anything I'm showing you here tonight is linked in my credits directly to where you will find the gift, not just the landmark giver :) There are other gifts at mainstores besides the ones I'm sharing, but it should be enough to tempt you if you haven't explored Uber and their 9th anniversary round yet. As far as finding the gifts at the stores, many of them are in the same box with gold and black balloons floating above, and look for front desk areas or window displays that seem prominent.

My first look of the evening is our Mimikri - Fiji jardin gift, blooming with a garden's worth of various flower types. The solid ivory top and patterned shorts will each fit Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. I am not much of a gardener so they only flower I recognized immediately are the pansies, but a few of the 5-petal blossoms look quite familiar too.

This flirty outfit is the BONNICCI x Uber - Brookie Lingerie treat we can claim at their mainstore. It wears as one piece with the appearance of two, in sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. We also receive a handy HUD with 6 colors to choose from, so it's really like several gifts rolled into one. I can picture myself wearing this as a swimsuit too, just for fun :) SL fashion should ultimately be about enjoying ourselves, so why not?

How about a little black dress to add to your collection that is anything but basic? This is the N-Uno gift named Linna Dress // Silk // N 2. It is a strapless wrap dress with golden studs diagonally across the skirt front, and I cannot resist a sweetheart neckline. There are Freya, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh body sizes waiting for you to claim.

This gift is labeled as a top, but looks more like a shirt-dress to me so I'd stick to just stockings or tights beneath I think :) It is our TORI TORRICELLI // Bree Top // White&Gray gift, and fits Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. I love the knit vest layered over the long sleeved blouse, and the neutral colors are a fine choice for sure.

This evening's final look comes from MASOOM, their charming Gift Ryan Dress. The ombre from pink to pale teal blue is lovely, and I was instantly captivated by the diagonal hem, tube top layer, and playfully drooped left shoulder strap. We get to claim this gift in sizing for Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies to fit lots of popular brands :) So pretty!

Happy Uber-versary

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we visit the Uber Event for more wonderful gifts, as they are celebrating their 9th anniversary this round. The gifts are free with no group required, and most are at the event itself in gift boxes that have black and gold balloons tied to them. It makes them more visible and festive :) Other gifts (some of which I'll be sharing tomorrow) are at the designers' main stores, with the landmarks provided in the boxes I just described or a sign at the display that tells you to click. It might not be quite as busy now that the weekend is over, but just in case you can find camera sims >here< and >here< if the main one is full when you try to teleport there. From those neighboring regions you just use your camera controls and cam over to the main area, clicking all the gift boxes and grabbing any demos for items you might want to purchase. You can also do that purchasing from those alternate regions if necessary. I always enjoy helping to celebrate events in SL reaching anniversary or birthday milestones!

My first look is our gift from SPIRIT called Pika mini dress. It is crafted from striking stonewashed denim, and one of its straps dangles down beneath the left arm. We receive Freya, Legacy, and Maitreya sizes in the gift, as well as a HUD with 2 metal options for the closures. I really like the distressed edging at the hem, like we've worn this so much that it is softened and extra cozy.

Next I shimmied into the flirty Qip Me Monogram dress, which is our free gift from small. This brand offers their own original mesh creations, so I believe this is also one :) The daring style looks to be modeled after a cheongsam or qipao dress, hence the name, with slashed opening down the side and a plunging back that makes for a view that I call peek-a-booty ;) The gift consists of sizes for Khara, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies, along with a HUD to hide or show the breast piece and to choose from 2 metal hues. Fantastic!

There are lots of separates among the generous gifts, like the [CAROL G] Luna Cropped - Black tube top seen here. It is elegant in its simplicity, since you can pair it with just about anything under the sun (or in your inventory) and it will look wonderful :) It fits Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. I matched it with the gift from .Safira. which is their Dolly Panties in two colors, each in two sizes. The white and rose pairs both fit Legacy and Maitreya bodies, and have the same eye-catching bow on the back that I adore! The slightly sheer texture adds even more sex appeal.

There is something about tube dresses that make me very happy, with my first thought being how easy it is to dress them up or down for lots of occasions. So I was delighted to unpack the Emery Panque Dress Berry gift! The bold stripes of black and wine (okay so that's like berry but boozy LOL) wrap around to snugly show off our curves, and we get sizes for Legacy and Maitreya mesh bodies. Now do I want to wear fancy shoes and jewelry for a more formal look, or flat sandals and simple accessories for a casual stroll around SL?

My final look of the evening is great for the waning days of summer, although our favorite season never has to end in SL...this is the LEROY - Vivi Bikini - White gift, and wow is it a fun treat! The top and panty are each provided in Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizing. The top's straps wrap around the back very intriguingly, and the slight lopsided nature of the panty gives it character :) Just think - simple white can accommodate all sorts of colorful jewelry, shoes, tattoos, nails, just about anything you want to accessorize with.

Any time someone says "we need to talk, I have news and you aren't going to like it", it is normal for both the heart and mind to start racing, right? The speaker in this case was the housemate, who was informing me last minute (as usual) that the dreaded houseguest (their friend, we don't get along because he is a rude dingleberry) is visiting this weekend for the "biggest sports weekend of the year". And here I thought that was in February...really it's whenever they just want to sound dramatic and impressive. So I will be hiding in this very room for a few days, after a trio of busy days (Wednesday - Friday) where I test my agoraphobia and try to go places/do things. It's certainly not the end of the world, but not great for my health at this point (mental or physical) so I'm just going to try my best to have patience. Off-Line and Havoc Go Bananas

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'm switching gears to the final week of the Sunkissed Summer Hunt, brought to us by Off-Line and Havoc. This is the 8th round of hunt prizes hidden each Friday, and I am guessing that these will be available until the upcoming Friday but I would still get there as soon as you can, just in case :) Each week has had a different hunt object, and they chose a banana as the fruity image this round. They are for the group members for each store, and both groups are free to join so all 6 treats this week are completely free. Havoc still has all the previous gifts out to find too, with examples of the various hunt objects above the sign near their landing area so you'll know what to look for. Of course, if you see a random picture of fruit on a wall or chair or the ground, LOL, you'd probably realize it is out of place and therefore a hunt prize or something worth clicking :) I have truly enjoyed this multi-round mini hunt and am a big fan of both stores, so it's been an absolute pleasure to share.

My first look is the sexy "Off-Havoc" x "Senarra" Bikini / White, which was located at the Off-Line store and the name seems to indicate a collaborative effort. There are two versions, the original and S which is the slightly sheer version I'm wearing on the right above. Each of these are provided in Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizes. The style is full of flirty details like the crossed halter strap, bold bust opening, cutout sides, and high cut legs. If you tend to wear a darker skin tone in the summer to mimic a tan, the white hue here will definitely show that off :)

The other two prizes at "Off-Line" were a perfect match, so here they are paired together :) The dress is the "Liah" Dress / Nude treat, a bodycon mini dress with curve-hugging seams down the front beneath a cleverly crafted peekaboo bodice. We receive sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies, all for free when finding this banana. Meanwhile the "Off-Line" x "Maison" Boots / Nude come in the same body sizes (foot sizes anyway) and the same light taupe shade as the Liah dress. The chunky heel and cozy height just above the ankle make me think that this would work just as well for a winter outfit as a summer, or any other season of course. Versatility is always appreciated here ♥. The boots are for mid-height feet settings, which was always my favorite even if the high are easier to find shoes for.

Over at Havoc, this prize is revealing enough that I busted out my 'modesty flowers' in Photoshop again ;) I have been a bit loosey-goosey with skirting the NSFW line lately I think, so randomly opted to err on the side of caution here. If you want to see just how revealing, find that banana and try it on yourself :) The Havoc. Sangria Bodysuit. Camel captured my attention with not only the fantastic lace, but the multiple ties down the entire back of the legs. Speaking of legs, did you notice they are partway down the foot too? That bottom strap is on the arch of the high feet, and this might be rough to wear in RL but is a breeze in SL. There are Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Peach, and Reborn mesh body sizes included in this hunt prize.

I tend to favor cool colors like blues and purples, yet found myself immediately drawn to the Havoc. Kimberly Top. Yellow prize and would in any color. The flirty lacing is as fun a detail as the short crop length, don't you think? It fits Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Peach, and Reborn bodies, and will go well with lots of different pants, shorts, jeans, or skirts that you have waiting in your inventory. I went with my favorite marketplace gift from Delizio, the white pair from their fatpack of jeans in system/BOM layers and appliers for Omega and Maitreya. 

My final look of the night is the comfy casual Havoc. Ely Dress. Rust prize, which strikes me more as a tan or light brown than rusty orange shade that could be from my lighting settings. The t-shirt dress with shirt tied around the waist are linked to wear as one piece, in sizing for Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The top reads "Essentials Fear of God", then the sleeves have writing in a bold Gothic font that looks like Chro... and ...earts so I thought of Chrome and Hearts but not certain. Don't forget to pick up the other rounds' prizes at Havoc if you haven't already, not to mention the group gifts inside if you don't already have those lovely goodies.

Weekends are never quite long enough, are they? This morning when I was in SL, about an hour before I started taking these pics/notes, my power went out briefly and the generator didn't kick in, then the internet didn't return right away, so it was a dash of chaos that interrupted my SL time with Xan briefly too. The weather wasn't even a problem so it really was just random bad luck. Could have happened to anyone, it was just my turn ;) Otherwise I kept busy and have the next few blog posts planned, more Uber gifts being among the treats I'll be showing off this week. Uber Anniversary

 Hiya everyone! Tonight the delightful Uber event is celebrating their 9th anniversary with free gifts for everyone with no group join necessary. Most are found at the event itself (with two cam sims in case the main one is full) in boxes with black and gold balloons tied to them, an elegant look that helps us spot them at each display. Some are at the demo area, which you can reach by clicking any sign at the event that says demo area. The third possibility is that some designers have a landmark to their main store in the gift box or from clicking a sign at their display, helping us to teleport to their stores for the gifts. I believe last year they all had the gifts at the individual stores, so this year's method might relieve some traffic at the main event's site but we still have plenty of fabulous reasons to shop there :) All of tonight's gifts are from the event itself, and I got into the main sim/region on my first try which was a pleasant surprise. Then my alt visited and there was also room for her, but I do realize that the weekends are always more crowded in SL in general so I'm providing the camera sim links too. 

My first look of the evening is the sweet NANAO // Ava Dress // 4 Sizes // Pastel gift. Its soft shade of pinkish lavender is very flattering for the sundress style, and the darker purple lace on the hem and straps is beautiful! We receive Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Reborn Waifu as the four sizes mentioned in the name :) 

Next I paired two separate gifts that you can have fun wearing with anything else you wish too :) The top is our neve gift - smart which is a layered jacket and cropped top in sizing for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. We also get a handy HUD with 4 colors each for the jacket and undershirt, with options to hide the undershirt, shine, or alpha which is the slight sheerness of the undershirt. If you look really closely, I have it sheer on both sides (just look for underboob lines LOL sorry) which of course is not preferable for every destination or wearer. Generally I will wear it solid :) The adorable skirt is the gift from Valentina E. which is called Elly Olive Mini. The double placket of buttons on the front reminds me of sailor pants, while the color is similar to an army green, so apparently I'm getting military vibes times two. There are Legacy and Maitreya sizes included, and I like the length being short but not micro mini while the waistline is low without being excessive either :) Flirty but still very wearable, if that makes sense.

The sizzling Seniha. Astere Dress // White gift has eye-catching eyelet fabric on the front with a solid rear panel. It fits Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies, and the flower petal shaped openings are just revealing enough that panties beneath would be a good idea but the nips are hidden between the openings. I never mention these things in a judgmental way, but just to inform those who are curious or concerned about modesty to any degree :) When I'm out and about in SL, I personally want those bits covered at all times but am not pearl-clutching over anyone who doesn't do the same, as long as the rules of the destination are fine with it.

I combined two treats again for one stunning look here. The bodysuit is our [The Forge] Luna, Strawberry gift, deep red with a slight blue tint that has a mix of solid and lace panels. I love the intricate straps! The gift includes sizing for eBody, eBody Juicy Boobs, Legacy, Perky, and Maitreya bodies. Then I added our .:Vegas:. Tattoo Applier Taira unisex treat, which consists of BOM layers as well as the aforementioned appliers, for Altamura, Belleza, Legacy, Maitreya, Omega, Signature, and Slink bodies. Each of those offer dark, medium, and light options, which I've gone with the dark to make it show up best in photos I hope ;) The artwork on both full sleeves is impressive, and I am sure someone multilingual out there could tell you better than I what the wording at the top says. 

My final look of the night is the Kaithleen's gift called Nevada Dress - Smoke. The dusky bluish-gray color of the solid portion is a fun neutral to complement or contrast with your choice of 20 colors each for the edging and the sheer section. There are also 4 metal options for the bold zipper in the back, so this is one versatile goodie! The dress itself comes in sizes for eBody Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Reborn Juicy Boobs. I can tell that this will look fantastic on the curvier body types too, just an instinct telling me that :) My shape is fairly small compared to what I generally see out and about, so I do wonder sometimes if you're all able to tell how things will look on fuller figures. That is a good reason to demo any purchase beforehand, now that I think about it.

Whew, what a week! It wasn't all bad, just all busy with extra helpings of chaos here and there. Dinner was a trip down memory lane, looking at my grandma's old photos from the 40s - 60s so before my time. I recognized some of the faces but had to ask about some relatives or old family friends I probably never met. My mom was an adorable little girl, and her little brother looked like a baby doll when he was an infant :) I should be able to relax for a few days before things get hectic again midweek, yay adulting? Hillywood Revisited

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we return to Hilly Haalan and their wonderful building full of group gifts. We just need their group tag (free to join) to be able to go on a free shopping spree in this room, as most of these treats are for the Hilly Haalan store group. My title tonight is a nod to the name of their sim/region, Hillywood, which tickles me with how clever it is :) Their generosity has impressed me for years, just like the high quality of their fashions and accessories. 

My first look of the evening is the [hh] GIFT Nelly Dress, one of dozens of gifts that await us for free. There are two versions, lila and pink (lila is probably short for lilac) that are both provided in a fitmesh classic version along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizing. I really like the layered appearance of the peplum tank top and the mini skirt, plus who can resist a sweet floral pattern?

The charming [hh] GROUP GIFT Juno Dress is a tight strapless mini that fits Freya, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. We also receive a handy HUD with 30 terrific choices that are a mix of solids and patterns. It looks sizzling hot in solid red, but the wildly colored animal print is every bit as appealing :)

Next we shimmer in the gilded [hh] GROUP GIFT Daren Satin Dress. It is draped just right at the neck and around the bodice, clinging to every curve so seductively. The gift contains sizes for Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies.

I also couldn't resist the [hh] Dune Dress Tropical group gift, and for good reason! it has a halter neck with slender strap, then a bow holding the plunging front together. The skirt is wrapped around creating a bold opening in the front, for extra flirt factor. There are 5 standard sizes and a fitmesh version for classic avatars, with Maitreya and Slink Physique mesh body sizing included as well as a HUD as I'm sure you've guessed :) That offers 10 prints and 10 solids for an impressive 20 total, and I adore them all. 

We wrap up the evening with a strapless jumpsuit featuring a deep sweetheart neckline and dramatic flared legs. It was a productive day and my therapy visit went well, but there is still a lot of work to do there. The weather was rainy off and on, with some thunderstorms on the way tomorrow evening which are never fun. Hilly Haalan Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I realized it had been quite a while since I'd shared some group gifts from Hilly Haalan, so I hightailed it over to there and picked up some fantastic treats to show you :) Their group is free to join, and they have an entire building dedicated to group gifts for their own store group and a few other groups. The room gives a time capsule feeling since it's got several years' worth of gifts inside, ranging from standard mesh sizes (from before mesh bodies were a thing) to the most recent offering from this month. I was able to get some TMP sizes for my alt from among these many gifts, which is not all that easy these days so I am definitely grateful that the entire range is still available. I saw at least one gift that's for Kupra sizes only, and there are shoes and jewelry in addition to the clothing treats themselves. Some of the goodies are seasonal, either weather type seasons or specific holidays, just to further demonstrate the excellent variety that makes this so very worth visiting.

First we have the dazzling [hh] GROUP GIFT Blanche Dress. It has a gold belt and shimmery embossed pattern on the rose gold fabric, flattering high neck and long sleeves for modesty. This gift comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes. 

Next I slipped into the [hh] GROUP GIFT Elena Dress, loaded with versatility and sex appeal. There are Alice, Altamura Sofia, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Kupra Bimbo, Low, Original, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Hourglass, Physique, Star, and Tonic Curvy mesh body sizes included, as well as a 20 texture HUD. Mostly solid colors but there are a few fun patterns in the mix, so we can get creative in selecting the look that suits our style or mood of the moment.

Another generous gift that has a handy HUD is our [hh] GROUP GIFT Nicole Dress. The spaghetti straps of this column dress are trimmed with metal chains, and we receive sizing for Erika, Freya, Kupra, Kupra Ups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. The HUD has 25 satin colors, 25 shiny textures in the same colors, and 8 metal hues for those chains I mentioned on our straps. I went satin on the left and shiny on the right, and there is a distinct difference but I am enjoying both.

There is certainly more than just dresses among these gifts, like this playful [hh] GROUP GIFT Jazmine Bikini. Its top and bottom both fit Altamura Sofia, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Kupra Bimbo, Low, Original, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine bodies. There is also a HUD of course, with 20 textures for each piece. I do enjoy combining prints and solids when possible like I did on the left above :) The front crossed halter top is a winner in my book, and the low slung bottoms are modest yet sexy thanks to the side openings. 

My final look of the evening is an attractive outfit called [hh] GROUP GIFT Perline Dress Outfit. It starts with the dress, which has a pencil skirt and peekaboo bodice, in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Kupra Bimbo, Kupra Original, Kups A, Kups B, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. Then we get to add the matching heels which fit Belleza, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Slink High feet, and our choice of handbags for the left or right hand which each have resize scripts built in. They each have a different pose too, if you notice the left one is being held in front of my left thigh but the right one (less visible because of my pose, sorry about that) is held up more like displaying it to someone in front of the chest. Try them both on and have fun deciding! Isn't the pattern on the dress a fun one? That mix of bold blue, leopard spots, and vibrant hot pink flowers is a real head turner, and if you noticed the dark orange gleam on the left side of the rear view, that would be a materials enabled lighting effect from the ambient lights in my skybox.

I had such a nice morning catching up with an old friend inworld, and I spent part of today making sure everything is ready for tomorrow's therapy session. I'm not sure what to expect from only the second session, but we already came up with a few ideas of how to conquer anxiety and try to reframe how my brain responds to it. The box breathing (4 count in, hold for 4, breathe out for 4, hold out for 4) is uncomfortable for the part I have to completely exhale then hold for 4 with no air at all, like my body starts forcing me to gasp and try to get air in again quick! I'll mention to him that a different one I've done (from sleep meditation videos) is 4-1-6-1, so that last 1 is just holding for one count before inhaling again. Much more comfortable for me at least. It is supposed to rain and then switch to thunderstorms by the time I'm here blogging, always an adventure...I hope you're all having a fantastic day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

Where's The Party At

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post features several wonderful prizes from the Party Hunt, a $1L gridwide hunt that has us looking for small yellow balloons in each participating store. They are flat prim images rather than rounded 3D balloons, and are pretty tiny so you will need those hints from the hunt website to track them all down :) We have just over a week left to collect all the prizes we want, which I think is plenty of time to stop by all the terrific stores and enjoy some generous dollarbie prizes. Please note that I tried picking up the prize at @AdReNaLiZeD@ but purchasing it delivered a folder with just the hunt notecard but no prize, so they don't seem to be ready at this point. I mention this to help you out, not to criticize, because I am extremely grateful to all stores who participate in any hunts and freely admit that neither SL nor any of us humans are perfect. My first look can be found in the balloon at Sin Original, simply called Party On-GIFT. The jacket, bralette, shorts, and leg harness each come in sizes for Curvy, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn bodies. I must admit I can't tell if that "curvy" is Gen X, eBody, or Tonic, since I don't own any of those bodies and couldn't try it on with them to see which fits (Cinderella's glass slipper moment) so I apologize for not having that specific detail available. The bralette is sheer lace, as you can see very clearly on the right where I slipped off the jacket. I love the color combo, and the ability to wear the shorts with or without that flirty harness!

Some folks would say that it's not really a party until someone winds up naked...if that sounds like your kind of celebration, let everyone know with the prize from The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co. called PARTY NAKED Tee. This frosty white tank top is provided in 5 standard mesh sizes as well as eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body versions. It worked well with the black shorts (to bring out the black text) and playful leg harness from the prior hunt prize, but these versatile tees pair beautifully with just about any pants, jeans, shorts, or skirt that tickles your fancy.

The Sissy Bar can always be counted upon for high quality fashions, so I'm always glad to see them on any hunt website :) Their gorgeous (TSB) Party Hunt prize is a tropical treat that makes me think luau for a specific party type. Its wrap halter top and paneled maxi skirt are each decorated with bold chains of gold, and their fabric has a beautiful pattern with pineapples and flowers. Both pieces fit eBody Reborn, Freya, Isis, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. Did you know that the sissy bar is a part of a motorcycle, also called sister bar, that allows a passenger (sister or not, hehe) to ride on the back with you? I looked it up after reading about it in their notecards years ago, as I am the curious type and have never been on a motorcycle but enjoy learning about them.

We wrap up the evening with the Grumble-Vibes Dress prize. In sizes for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Khara, Maitreya, Prima Busty, and Reborn bodies, this dress has a terrific style with sweetheart neckline and high cut hip slits. The various colored lines on the black background remind me of fireworks or when you wave a sparkler in the air fast enough to make it look like you're writing with it, so definite party vibes :)

Fabulously Free

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are exploring along the FabFree group gift trail, which means visiting some amazing and generous designers who are part of the FabFree in SL blog/group family. The blog has been a source of assistance and inspiration for my entire second life, and I am an enthusiastic fan who loves reminding everyone to check their blog regularly and of course to join the group so you can grab these gifts :) They keep the group gift list very well updated, with dozens and dozens of treats at any given time with more added frequently, so I could easily feature them once a week or more and never run out of things to blog. If any group deserves a permanent place among our precious group slots, it is this one! So pop on that "I'm Fabulous!" group tag and join me for an adventure...

My first stop was BE BOLD, where the name of their Gift #5 may or may not have had me humming Mambo Number 5 ;) It is a flirty dress for the Maitreya mesh body that has an asymmetrical hemline and some slashed cutouts across the back. We also receive a HUD with 3 color choices, with the one not shown being a lovely bright pink. Options always make an already pretty dress or outfit even more special, don't you think?

Time to get snuggly with the .:Bad Rabbit:. Nyasha Sleepwear Set Teddy Bear Dark group gift for FabFree! There are long and short versions of the top, as well as thong panties and full length pants that all fit Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies. Also included are the bear slippers for Belleza, Maitreya, Slink, Kupra, and Legacy flat feet, and 4 versions of the eye mask - over the eyes or atop the head, each with or without a bow. The clothing all features an adorable print adorned with teddies, and I like the ability to shift from cuddly to sexy with the thong or the short top which is lifted to reveal the left breast. Yep, that is why I have my back to you all while wearing that one ;) Of course, that served to show off my bum, so modesty is all relevant I suppose. 

So there are little black dresses, and then there are little black dresses, like this tantalizing [Sexy Princess] Maritina Black Dress. It is provided in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies, and has panels down the front and back that are joined by slender strips across the bust, waist, and hemline. I think a C-string would be very handy if wearing this in public, since most other panty styles would show through, and just about any type of accessories you like can coordinate nicely with the neutral black hue.

Next we visit ::REA:: whose FabFree group gift is currently this playful Constance Sparkle swimsuit. Its intriguing style covers the essentials while baring plenty, so it can certainly bring the drama to any beach or pool look :) There are eBody Reborn, Erika, Freya, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Kupra Bimbo, Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, and Prima Busy sizes included, along with a 6 color HUD. The choices are all flecked with white sparkles, which I think adds a charming touch to the pretty pastel hues. My final look of the evening is the stunning EVENING IN PINK GOWN gift from ART & FASHION. It starts with a strapless mini dress, to which we can add the ruffle skirt either with or without transparency (the transparent version is shown on the left above), all of which fit Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. It made me think of those wedding gowns that convert to a shorter version or at least have a removable train, for freer movement to dance and socialize at the reception :) The color and the bold flowers call to mind a certain popular fashion doll, whose movie I am still eager to see when it is possible to do so from home. This is another location where the gifts are free but need to be 'purchased' for $1L which is refunded to you immediately, creating a transaction history in their records. This probably means it can be redelivered if you ever need it to be, since sometimes things in SL get wonky as we all know.

Well, I was able to get my Genus head update delivered from the HUD they sent out to their new group, so no need to struggle getting into an overly crowded sim/region :) I think there will be a bit of a learning curve or at least an adjustment to switching back to it after using Lelutka for over a year...I misunderstood the update and it was not to Evo X compatibility but a totally different third option (counting standard SLUV map, that of its predecessor and classic avatars as the first) called 4K BOM. It can be used with the original non-Evo-X skins by default, toggled back and forth via the HUD, but I've found that most recent skins and makeup are only for Evo X. So I'm still wearing Lelutka as you can see, and will wait patiently to see what SL's talented skin and makeup artists create :) SL is always evolving in various ways, so this is just another example of that and I am curious as to how it will shake out.
