Staying Sun-Sational
Hiya everyone! Tonight I am still feeling (and looking) sensational thanks to the Sun-Sational Summer Cart Sale at The Wash. There are several categories on the website, mine are from the Apparel section since my goal is to show you some free fashions to brighten your days. First up, we have 2 terrific selections from the .::battle fairy::. cart, a bargain at $25L each. They are the lena chrys lake on the left, and lena chrys lemon on the right. All of the beautiful color choices (yes, there are several more) include the top and skirt in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Signature Alice, Star, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizes, with matching heels sized for Belleza, Legacy, Maitreya, Slink, Signature, Star, and Tonic feet. I love how the style is both elegant and flirty! Battle Fairy is one of the participating stores who makes their home here on The Wash sim, so you can visit their mainstore while you explore the rest of the cart sale.
Next we visit the Rispetto Designs cart, where you might choose this sexy Raven Bodysuit in Crimson as I am wearing on the left. It is created for the Maitreya mesh body, and the view from the back is even more revealing with just a few slender straps to hold things in place. There are other colors available on the cart too, just $25L apiece. On the right I am wearing the lovely Mia Jumpsuit in Grape, where $50L will get you sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, and Maitreya bodies. These have a fun cutout in the front and an attached silvery belt that is loosely draped and dangles down the right thigh. There are plenty of options to make any night a little more wild here ;)
Summer certainly calls for cool treats, and this dress qualifies literally and figuratively :) It is one of two Stay at Home Club gifts from Georg Bellic Design (the prior one was blogged here) and is called ~GBD~ Icecream Strawberry Dress. The strapless mini is provided in sizes for eBody Classic, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and a Classic version for standard avatars. The design is mouthwatering, with melting pink ice cream dripping down the dark golden cone texture. Unlike real ice cream, this is no mess, no calories, and no cost so it is a triple treat.
This playful Stay at Home Club gift is from Precious Designs, called PD ~ My Kinda Crazy Bikini. It has such pretty ruffles and straps, with delicate bows holding everything together just right, and that gingham print is fantastic! The gift includes top and bottom each in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, with a HUD for each with 5 colors to choose from. Our final stop of the evening is Baby Monkey, whose shoes have been a part of my SL wardrobe for as long as I can remember...I might still have their shoes from well over a decade ago in my inventory! Times have changed and they have grown too, selling wonderful clothing as well as footwear, so their 2 gifts are an excellent example of those. The dress is their BM Cara Sativa Dress, a halter style tied at the mid-back and with a flirty short hemline. It comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine bodies, with a HUD offering 6 shades of green to choose from. My matching heels are the BM Sativa Plats, peeptoes with cork platforms that come in Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink High sizing with a similar 6-color HUD like the dress. I tend to associate the color green with nature, while other people think of luck or money, but with so many shades you are bound to find one that makes you happy.
It was a sweltering hot day out, so staying inside was the safe choice that I am glad I was able to make. I am happily beneath a ceiling fan right now, and there is a small but loud fan aimed at my bed when I finally wind up sleeping ;) The upcoming week looks to be extra warm too, and I can't decide if that makes me want to visit a beach or a ski resort in SL, like going with the heat or escaping to somewhere chilly.
