Ydea Style at The Free Dove
Hiya everyone! Tonight's post features some of the multitude of gifts you can find at The Free Dove, and they can be claimed by wearing the "Blessed by a Dove" group tag (free to join) and clicking each gift. There are displays organized by category, such as Womens Casual, while there are others that are several gifts from a single designer. The latter is what we are looking at tonight, a handful of treats from the Ydea Store. Even after all these years in SL, I still make it a point to visit The Free Dove periodically to see what new treats are available :)
Denim is such an amazingly versatile fabric, since you can pair it with just about anything and find it in looks ranging from casual to glamorous and everywhere in between. So this gift called Ydea Style Top and Skirt Summer certainly caught my eye with its distressed denim overalls skirt with built in tube top beneath. It comes in sizes for Altamura, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh bodies.
Next we celebrate the season with the Ydea Style Bikini summer gift, a very flattering look in hot turquoise with black strings tied in playful little bows. This gift includes standard mesh sizes as well as eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine body versions. The top and bottom are linked together so you just have to add one single item and you're instantly ready for a walk along the beach or a dip in a pool.
I also picked up this charming outfit called Ydea Style Top Short Jeans Pink, perfect for this time of year :) Our shirt is knotted up high, beneath a crisp anchor that always makes me think of summer and sailing, while the extra short denim shorts have two rows of buttons that remind me of sailors pants so they are a dreamy match. Each piece is provided in standard mesh sizes plus versions for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies.
The vibrant colors of this gift really captured my attention, so I am pleased to share the Ydea Style Micro Mini Dress gift with all of you :) This flirtatious tank style dress comes in standard sizing for classic avatars, along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh body sizes. Something about this dress says "club" to me!
My final look of the evening is their generous Ydea Style Top Dress Summer gift, complete with footwear and accessories. The dress is provided in fitmesh standard sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions. The matching shoes are sized for Belleza, Maitreya, Slink, and TMP feet, while the watch and sunglasses I am wearing here are included too. Even the purse I am holding on the right is included, with a built in pose that turned me that 90 degrees to the side that you see with one heel slightly raised as though in mid stride. The great thing about all these additions is that you get to decide which suit you and which might not, so if watches or purses are not your style then you can leave them off. The sunglasses look fabulous, but if you are indoors or it's nighttime then the outfit will look just as pretty without them.
I am trying to figure out why this day feels like it has been at least 2 full days long...my sense of time is really thrown off for some reason but at least I find it amusing rather than upsetting. I had a nice time at the farmers market despite the hot and humid weather, and I am looking forward to enjoying the foods I bought there throughout the upcoming week.
