Fabulously Free and Lucky
Hiya everyone! Tonight I picked up some FabFree group gifts to share with all of you, and got lucky with a lucky board prize at one of the stores so you get to see that too. FabFree is the inworld group for the Fabulously Free in SL blog, and as I've mentioned before I am a huge longtime fan of both the group and the blog. I have learned about many events, special sales, and yes free gifts through them, and highly recommend their free group for one of your permanent group slots. I am not affiliated with them in any way, just sharing my opinion on them :) It is always nice to visit some of their participating designers' stores to see what new items they have for sale, and a pleasant bonus to have gifts waiting for anyone with their "I am Fabulous" tag active.
My first stop was NUTS Inc, where I found this lovely Dorit Dress as the FabFree group gift. It has a very handy delivery HUD that lets you pick just the sizes you need...just click the option, choices include classic avatars, Belleza, Maitreya, Slink, and Tonic bodies. You will receive a folder with pertinent sizing, along with a color HUD offering 4 choices each for the top and ruffles. I matched on the left in purple, then mixed burgundy with blue on the right for a touch of variety. That bow on the back of the neck is so pretty!
This striking outfit is the gift from I.M. Collection called Jamie Purple Jumpsuit. It is provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizing, all in that vibrant color that I love. It has a belt as part of the texturing, and the sleeveless style is just right for this time of year.
Another color I am fond of is pink, so I appreciate this gift from [satusInc] all the more for it. This is their Ivy Short Blouse Dress Pink, a simply elegant slip of a dress in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP bodies. The hemline is rounded and longer in the back, for some reason I am drawing a blank and cannot think of the name of that hem style...it is like a mens dress shirt though.
I also visited {Poeme} to claim their charming Maisie Pin Up Dress in Leaf, and I am glad I did for a few reasons :) This gift includes standard mesh sizes and a fitted version for classic avatars, as well as Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body versions. There is a HUD with other colors for sale next to it, if you are interested in purchasing the ability to change to a different hue.
Beneath the group gifts are a set of lucky boards, for which you do not need any special group tag to claim. I managed to arrive when my initial was on one of them, so I won this pair of dresses called {Poeme} Beach Roses Dress Set. There are Mango (seen on the left above) and Sky (right) varieties, each in the same sizes as the Maisie dress. The rose pattern has a romantic feeling, while the breezy style gives it a flirty summer flavor.
I apologize for the lateness of this post, but I am having trouble with the blogspot servers or something. Each time I went to add an image, it took between 5 and 10 minutes because I was getting errors that the server connection was lost. I will check again in a few hours to ensure that the photos are indeed included, as they are very important for the blog to make sense :) It has been that sort of an evening, so I am taking some deep breaths and trying to be patient.
