Still Feeling Festively Lucky
Hiya everyone! Tonight I would like to share a few more prizes from the Bon Odori festival at the Kiyomizu Mall, as there were simply too many for just one post last night. Like standard lucky boards, you need your initial to show up in order to be able to click and claim a prize, but unlike more typical ones you need to dance (by sitting on a yellow pose pad) for 2 minutes before being eligible to claim anything. It will tell you when your 2 minutes is complete, please stay on your dance pad so you can continue to be able to win lots of terrific gifts. No group tag is needed, so just dance and enjoy :)
My first look is one of two gifts in the same lucky board, the beautiful Hapi*Rabi Sadie - NSLB green. This soft green dress has detached sleeves that bare the shoulders, and a lovely floral lace design. It comes in a Maitreya size and a fitmesh version for classic avatars, although it may be suitable for other mesh bodies too if you give it a try.
This is the other prize found in that same lucky board, Hapi*Rabi Sadie - NSLB pink. Same two sizes and same wonderful style, in a different hue so you can decide which color you are in the mood for whenever you want to wear one of them. I am grateful for both since I am a fan of both colors, especially in the warm weather.
Sometimes we need a little something pretty to wear beneath our favorite clothing, like this lingerie prize from *Kona@!s called -BraPan-. Inside you will find the bra and panties (which are more like a C-string, no sides) in system/BOM layers, black and tintable versions of each. On the right I wore the tintable ones and edited each to change the color to a bold blue, but naturally you can choose any shade you prefer. These are trimmed with scalloped lace, and the back of the strapless bra has a bit of lacing like a corset.
At this point I was feeling playful, so I kept the bra and panties on but added a couple of fun accessories ;) The phone is one of the prizes from A&R called 2020 Phone ver2, and it includes a HUD that I highly suggest you just click the various buttons and experiment with. There are 10 poses as well as actions like making a call, shaking your head and hanging up the phone, and as you can see on the right I was able to hold up a peace sign and take a photo with a flash. My new kitty friend didn't even seem to mind being a part of the action :) He is the lucky board prize from Kitsune Shan, Wild Catto Animesh, so he is constantly in motion while he curls up on your head. You can also rez him out on the ground, but as animesh he does have a high land impact so please keep that in mind.
I am wrapping up tonight's looks with a beautiful tattoo from oiseau bleu, called [OB] henna tattoo flower. This is a Maitreya applier, so with the most updated body you will need to add your tattoo layer from the folder and then click your choice of dark (shown), light, or fresh, the last of which appears white against the skin. I was very drawn to the style being so artistic, yet simple in the single color and clean lines with no shadowing.
It was a pretty good day here, with an intense hockey game and some fun time in Animal Crossing. They have fireworks in the game every Sunday in August, so all my little animal neighbors hang out and watch them while clapping and cheering. It certainly makes me smile, as it probably does for plenty of others. If you have never played an Animal Crossing game, I'm sure you can find videos online to see how adorable they are and how much people are appreciating this version (New Horizons) while stuck at home.
