Moonstar By The Sea
Hiya everyone! Tonight is part 2 of the Moonstar Birthday Hunt, as we help them celebrate their 12th birthday in SL. They are holding 2 hunts, one in each of their locations, with 12 "moonstars" (a crescent moon with a star nestled into it) for you to locate and click, until September 15th. All of tonight's gifts can be found at the Shelter sim, the store they call Moonstar By The Sea, hence my post's title :) I have been shopping at Moonstar for most if not all of their 12 years, and am so happy for their accomplishments in staying so popular for over a decade!
First we see the *V* Cafe Cats Dress, a chic dress whose black skirt, sleeve ruffles, and built in belt all bring out the cat shadows in the top's print beautifully. The prize includes sizes for classic avatars (standard M and fitmesh M) along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh body sizing. There are also black lace panties included as a system/BOM layer and an Omega applier.
Next I slipped into the prize called *V* Addison Dress, a flirty mini in deep teal sequined pattern with plunging neckline. It comes in standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique versions, plus white lace panties in system/BOM layer and an Omega applier.
Another alluring hunt prize is this *V* Asta Dress, a star-studded navy mini dress with sequins at the hem and neckline. Our gift consists of the dress in standard sizes plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizing, with a pair of lace panties in their usual system/BOM layer and Omega applier combination. The designer at Moonstar is very conscious of the need for both, and I do appreciate it.
I am definitely feeling comfy and cuddly in this next prize, the *V* Moonstar Onesie. It is a pretty shade of pink, decorated with green stars, some of which are snuggling with a blue crescent moon, a fun nod to the hunt object and the store's logo. Standard mesh sizes are included, as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizing.
My final look this evening is a formal one, the dazzling *V* Jacqueline Gown. It comes in standard mesh sizes plus a fitted version for classic avatars, along with sizing for Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies. The striping on the bodice and the belt are particularly flattering of our curves, and those glittery stripes are gorgeous in the front and back leading into a brief train. It was an interesting day, as I tried something new in Animal Crossing (New Horizons) using a template I found online to create a new clothing design, pixel by pixel. Many mistakes were made, LOL, but I learned by trial and error...still giggling at how confused I got at several stages. In case you were wondering, I made a hockey jersey, and am planning something 'cuter' next time ;) There are plenty of people out there who have created much better clothing than I can, so I will mostly be enjoying their hard work with gratitude.
