Hiya everyone! Tonight I have some hunt prizes to share from the Dreaming Of A White Christmas Hunt, which is a $1L gridwide hunt in which we are searching for sparkly snowflakes which have a blue tint to them. The website will help you with hints and the landmarks for each stop, with many preview images so you know what you can find inside. This hunt is one of those who offers the chance to purchase each prize for $25L if you do not wish to hunt for the $1L hidden snowflake, in which case you can buy the same prize from the $25L hunt object near the hunt sign. There is also a hunt object on the sign that can be clicked for the hint (in local chat) so you will see a sample and know precisely what to look for in your hunting. This hunt does end on the 31st so time is of the essence. Since we are past Christmas but still in early winter, I chose to share prizes that are wintry rather than specific to the holiday.
My first look is from the snowflake at Georg Bellic Design, which contains both a male and a female gift for all who find it. This is their Kalina Winter Bodysuit and Skirt, each included in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing. There is also a HUD with 4 color choices for each piece, so you can mix and match if you wish. When the bodysuit and skirt are the same color, it does have the appearance of a single piece like a dress, and they really fit together well. All the color choices (including the white not shown) are dusted with detailed flakes that have a wide range of designs to reflect the unique beauty of nature's icy artwork.
Grumble also has a flaky gift waiting for us, their Winter Love Dress - Red which is a flirty mini with laced up back and a hint of bum cleavage. It comes in sizes for Altamura, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Legacy Perky, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. Of all the terrific details to this dress, somehow the one that made me smile the most was the two hearts on the front among all the snowflakes.
This lively romper is the prize from Hopes Creations, called [HC] Peyton White Xmas Playsuit. It has been created for Alice, eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Legacy Perky, Maitreya, Maitreya Petite, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine bodies, with a HUD to turn the sleeve off or on. On the right I turned it off, and on the left I am enjoying the asymmetrical styling of the single sleeve and peaked neckline.
The Sissy Bar has an elegant gown waiting in their snowflake for us, named (TCB) White Christmas Gown. It is simple at first glance because of the single white color, yet the details really pop out once you take a better look at the embossed texture and styling from behind. The prize includes a standard M and fitmesh M for classic avatars, as well as sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies.
My final look of the evening is a beautiful sweater from Applique` Chic, their AC: Snowflake Ribbons Sweater hunt prize. It is provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous body sizes, with a 5 color HUD so you can change the look with a simple click. I love the ribbon lacing down the entire left side, with a fun opening starting just above the waist! I paired it with the white Delizio jeans from the several choices in their marketplace freebie fatpack, which are all included in system/BOM layers plus Maitreya and Omega appliers. They come in handy and appear here on my blog quite frequently.
Quick hair note of the night: speaking of things that appear on my blog frequently, there is a new VIP group gift for Truth Hair :) This is their gorgeous updo called Soiree, and the lights twinkling around my curls are a separate attachment so you can wear the hair with or without. Each color HUD has a stylist tab so you can choose with or without wisps and side tendrils, and VIP gifts always include the full fatpack of colors that Truth creates. The lights make it festive, but without those it is a very pretty cascade of curls that I will happily wear quite a bit, I'm sure.
Well, I enjoyed my day off from posting, yet I was eager and excited to be back tonight :) It was certainly an unusual holiday during a wild year, but it seemed like a good time to reminisce and be grateful that my family was apart because of caution and not because any of us are ill. There are plenty of reasons to be sad or angry, but I am making an effort to choose positivity wherever I can find it. Someday we will be telling younger relatives about the pandemic we survived and how the world had to suddenly change, but we did it for their futures as well as our own.
