Hiya everyone! Tonight we get to visit Moonstar, where their Halloween hunt is ready to delight with 13 free prizes hiding inside small orange coffins decorated with black fish bones. Just click each one when you find it while exploring all 4 floors of this lovely store and receive a thoughtful gift :) It is really decorated for the season, including an "unlucky chair" near the main entrance that has some previous Halloween offerings inside to win. I got lucky (?) a few times and got decapitated, electrocuted, and had an unfortunate encounter with a wooden spike, LOL, so this chair is not for the faint of heart. A couple of the prizes were in standard mesh sizes for classic avatars, and the one I'm showing you tonight has just a couple of mesh bodies in addition to classic sizes. No group tag is needed for the hunt or the chair (or lucky boards that are up one floor) and we can win lots of generous treats without spending a single linden. This means we can splurge on some of their affordable fashions while we visit!
My first look this evening is the Mustard Skull T-shirt and Capri Jeans outfit, a hunt prize from one of the coffins I found. The t-shirt comes in classic M and fitmesh M for classic avatars, along with sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh bodies. Then we can pair it with the capris, which are provided in 5 classic mesh sizes as well as eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizing. The skulls are decorated like Dia de los Muertos, which is also this time of the year.
Next I combined two hunt prizes, starting with the Haunted Top and Jeans. The mesh top is provided in 5 classic and 5 fitmesh sizes for classic avatars, plus eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body versions. The jeans are in a system/BOM layer and an Omega applier, so lots of compatibility there. The top has a tiny touch of orange from its pattern, but I wanted a little more color so I added the *V* Tippy Toes Creepers. These fun sneakers will fit Belleza, eBody Reborn, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Slink, and Star bodies' feet, and the tiptoe style means they work with the high foot settings. The purple background looks great with green and orange spiders, black webs, and accents of green laces both front and back.
The sexy Softly Lace Bat Dress hunt prize seems to straddle the line between dress and lingerie in my mind :) The dress is provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizes, with a C-string (crotch cover) that has a resize script built in so it can be adjusted quite easily. Our sheer lace panels are brought together loosely in the rear by crisscrossed laces, tied at the top with a fun bow. The strapless style seemed just right for some accessorizing, so I added the Spider Jewellery Set prize. The earrings and necklace have resize scripts and can be edited to adjust the height as I did, and if you don't have arachnophobia you can enjoy having some spiders crawling on your throat and earlobes ;)
I may not have created a philosopher's stone, but I sure seem to have discovered alchemy! Well at least that's the name of this flirty look, the *V* Alchemy Dress. It has sheer gold panels trimmed in black lace, and also gives a distinct lingerie feeling thanks to the see-through fabric. The dress and C-string are each included in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh bodies.
My final look of the night is a prize from the unlucky chair, the MESH Black Cat Outfit and Boots by Moonstar. This versatile outfit starts with the t-shirt and leggings in system/BOM layers and appliers for Omega, Maitreya, and Slink bodies. Then we add the boots, packaged within the prize folder for classic avatars, Slink, and Maitreya bodies. As for the dress layer, that is mesh in standard sizes as well as Maitreya and Slink Physique sizing. The resizable necklace is included too, with pumpkins and seasonal squash strung like bold beading to adorn our necks. I wonder what spooked the kitty on the front of the dress? Maybe its human was watching a scary movie, or a ghost flitted by...nah, I think it was the unlucky chair I won this from!
It was a weekend of ups and downs here, pretty much what I expected. The houseguest was a bit louder than I'd like, but helped my housemate clean out the rest of the old fridge so the new one can be delivered tomorrow afternoon. Someone at the farmers market (the owner actually) mentioned that their fridge died during the appliance shortage and it took 3 months to get a new one, so I am feeling extremely fortunate that things are moving so quickly. The new one is nothing fancy, not even an ice maker, so maybe they are easier to keep on hand. I hope you all enjoyed your weekend, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!
