Hiya everyone! Tonight I'd like to invite you to the Malus Park Haunted Hunt, a fun exploration of their Zen garden, fishing pier, and The Refuge Bloodlines venue. The area is decorated to suit the theme of course, with prizes for $10L or less hiding inside small pumpkins. The website has the previews and hints, and the prizes are wonderful as always :) I know that a few designers were unable to set up yet because of hurricane related delays, which is quite understandable and I wish them all the best. I always enjoy wandering around Malus Park, as it has a very welcoming feeling with much to see and do.
Applique` Chic has 8 pumpkins out, 4 of which contain $10L prizes and the other 4 hold free rewards for finding them. This is one of the lovely freebies, called AC: Halloween Swing Dress One. It has a boat neck and full skirt that falls just below the knee, and is provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh body sizes. There is also a HUD with 6 textures, each patterned skirt being combined with a solid color top to match wonderfully.
Their AC: Halloween Swing Dress Two is also a free hunt prize, in the same sizes as the previous one I shared since it is the same terrific style :) The 6 textures provided on this HUD are equally appealing with colors that are great choices for Halloween but also other times of year. Those owls are adorable, and the plaid has rich autumn shades that absolutely caught my eye.
I combined two prizes here, starting with another Applique` Chic free treat called AC: Humorous Halloween Brights. The top and skirt each fit Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya mesh bodies, with a HUD that offers 5 textures for each. The tops are solid colors and the skirts have ghosts flitting around on their matching colored patterns, and we get to mix and match since each piece is textured separately. The striking necklace I am wearing is a $10L prize from Starlight Apparel called .{SA}. Ilana Necklace Black/Rainbow. It has two black chains connected by bones in an array of colors, yes the 'rainbow' part of the name :) There are sizes included for eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine bodies so they are rigged to fit just right. I especially appreciate that since I have been struggling to get my necklaces adjusted correctly for many years now, so embarrassing! This solves that problem for me, while looking fantastic for the season.
This free hunt prize from Applique` Chic really stands out because of the soft coloring while still sporting spooky spirits ;) It is their AC: Humorous Halloween Pastels, and includes the same sizes for its top and skirt as the Brights version. I added a touch of darkness with the .{SA}. Ilana Necklace Gold/Black which is another $10L prize from Starlight Apparel. It is provided in the same set of sizes as the Black/Rainbow necklace from the third photo, this time with a golden chain linked by blackened bones. Be sure to look at the Starlight hunt key on the website or at the landing area, as there are a few fun pairs of sneakers you might find as well :) The Applique` Chic's hunt key will likewise show you their other prizes, four more dresses in designs that are also terrific.
It was a decent weekend here, and I got some tasty food on Saturday that I'll be enjoying throughout the week. My housemate had some cold symptoms last night but woke up feeling perfectly fine, so that was a relief for both of us and anyone he came in contact with recently. We're probably in the same room for less than 10 minutes a day usually, so my exposure to germs would be minimal anyway. My toes are still sore from the ingrown toenail trimming, but I am still soaking my feet with epsom salt and using the antibiotic ointment so I'm doing the best I can to help them heal.
