Hiya everyone! Tonight we're headed down Trick or Treat Lane, the annual event that is loaded with exclusive offers and a special hunt. The way that works is that you can hunt around the area for a free ghost, or if you prefer not to hunt you can simply purchase the prize from their booth for $50L. They are on hay bales in bags with the sign that shows you what's inside, and the website has many of the images available for us to window shop :) We have until the end of the month, fittingly Halloween, to enjoy the shopping and hunting.
First this evening, we see the lovely and spooky DI Spider Split Dress GIFT from Dark Intentions. It is awash with cobwebs and the arachnids who spun them, on a background that reminds me of antique books or wallpaper :) We receive sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies when we find the free ghost or buy the bag at their display.
The JR Wolf Creations hunt prize is their Agatha Dress Purple, a satiny treat trimmed on black ruffles and with a built in collar that is connected to the neckline in a way that almost resembles a tie at first glance. There are Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes provided.
I'm definitely ready to to dancing in our SF . Avenoire Dress - Witchbane treat from Senzafine! That plunging neckline will surely turn heads, and I love the subtle swirly pattern on the fabrics. It fits Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. Those sleeves are a wonderful detail too, loose and open with a long bow on each forearm :)
If you are deeply into the Halloween mindset, be sure to find the zOOm - Pumpkin Mood Bodysuit & Bolero prize to let your fashions speak for you. The bodysuit and bolero are separate pieces, both in sizing for Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The bodysuit is cut so high on the sides that the rear view is a bit revealing for some, so I would suggest layering a loose fitting skirt or pants over this to wear to G-rated areas. In case you can't read it, the front says "Current Mood" above and beneath the carved pumpkin and his grinning visage.
My final look tonight is our [Witch In A Box] Baelfire Outfit hunt prize, and I was instantly enchanted :) Pun intended, maybe? We receive a boldly slashed/zippered dress and funky studded boots each in Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes, along with a HUD offering 5 textures for the dress. I simply must mention the one on the left above, saying "Don't be a lady, be a legend" which calls to mind the quote that well behaved women seldom make history. Love it! Also those boots, if they aren't too heavy I'd much rather wear those in RL than heels that'd make me fall on my face, LOL, and we get one wing on each boot so they work together to make a pair.
It was an unexpectedly busy evening here, in a very good way :) My friend needed to do our Thursday multiplayer (Hello Kitty Island Adventure) early because her weekend visitor is arriving a day early, so we wound up playing today instead. This way she can spend tomorrow finishing her prep for his visit (her father-in-law) and I'll be getting my hair cut and tamed ;) As unruly as my hair is, I think I'm a pretty easy client to deal with because I know what I want and don't argue or say "surprise me" or anything that would stress out my stylist. 3-4 inches off, long layers, slightly angled around the face, whatever keeps the curls from turning into a frizzy mop.
