Hiya everyone! Tonight I visited Palomma Plaza, as I love to do from time to time, and noticed that Delicatt Couture had changed up their gifts there since I last shared them. So I eagerly changed to my "Doves Angel" group tag from the Palomma Plaza's free group, and picked up all of their generous treats for us. The entire main floor of this location is loaded with gifts from dozens of talented designers, so it is a must-visit spot for new residents, returning residents, or anyone who needs a new look without spending a fortune. We've got men's and women's clothing, accessories, hair, tattoos, AOs, and much more :) I appreciate the variety, and even more than that I'm always pleased to know that Palomma Casanova's legacy of generosity and love for SL is being honored with this plaza. Your old landmarks for The Free Dove will still work if you have any, as it is in the same exact spot and the build is identical. Enjoy your visit!
For my first look of the evening, I am wearing the lovely Delicatt Couture - Jhully dress - hud 6 colors gift. It comes in sizes for Altamura, Freya, Isis, Venus, eBody Curvy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh bodies, along with the HUD mentioned in the name so you can select from 6 hues. The daisies at the hem might make one think of springtime, but seasons are all relative in SL because we can visit any hemisphere or biome with the click of a teleport button :)
This sweet outfit is our Delicatt Couture - Ingrid Romper with Lace 2 gift, and let me tell you - she is a beauty! There are 5 fitmesh standard sizes as well as Belleza Venus, Maitreya, and Slink Physique sizes, plus a HUD with 6 color options. The black scalloped lace brings the drama and maybe a touch of spooky season vibes ;) Surely I can't be the only one who thinks adding lace to just about anything can elevate its style? Maybe that's because there are so many types of lace out there, so you can mix things up quite a bit.
Inside the Delicatt Couture - BABI long dress gift you'll find 3 more boxes, each with its own color of this elegant yet sensual gown. I'm wearing Green on the left and Old Gold on the right, with Vine (wine) being the other one not shown. Each of these comes in standard mesh sizes along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizing. The neckline plunges to the navel in the front, and the back is mostly bare except for the gently draped straps that remind me of a peace symbol ☮.
Next I slipped into the fantastic Emanuelle Long dress gift, which includes both colors shown - blue sweet and sweet green. Each of these are provided in standard mesh sizes and a fitted version for classic avatars, as well as sizing for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh bodies. The enclosed alpha layer came in handy to keep my hips and thighs from trying to poke through, lol, as I have found over the years that older Maitreya mesh models seem to not fit the 5.3 as sleekly as they must have for prior versions. I adore these gowns with their crossed straps and intricate linework down the front and back, with a teeny train to add to the elegance.
My final look of the night had me swapping over to my Lara X body, an easy and worthwhile task to be able to share the Special outfit - Sept. 24 - Delicatt Couture gift :) Our dress fits Lara X, Legacy, Bombshell, Reborn, and Waifu bodies, with coordinated strappy sandals in Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya/Lara X, Reborn, and Slink sizing. They are more of a golden hue compared to the vibrant orange of the dress that made me crave a mimosa, and that's coming from someone who hasn't even had one in 30 years, LOL! Its halter neckline goes really well with the side cutouts that go all the way around to the back, showing off lots of midriff.
It was a pretty good day here all around, as the heating system is now fixed (they flushed the system and it is noticeably warmer in here now) and then I got to spend my evening playing Hello Kitty with a friend and watching my favorite hockey team win :) They finally released an event related flower in HKIA, just for one week instead of the usual few weeks, but I've already gotten all three base colors so I'm off to an excellent start. They are shaped like Hello Kitty's famous bow, and are a nod to her 50th birthday. I'm eager to see my parents and their birds tomorrow, so I can see in person how much the sick one has improved. Now if only we could convince him that chewing on walls is dangerous...it's like having a 2 year old child but for a couple of decades. I'd like to wish you a Happy Halloween before I close things out here, as it is quite popular in SL even if you don't live in an area that celebrates.
