Hiya everyone! Tonight I've got a fun little store hunt to tell you about, a Halloween hunt from KZ and their neighboring store, NN. Each of their groups is currently free to join (but I've been in the KZ group for ages) and they each have some hidden ghosts specifically for their group members. There are 3 KZ ghosts in lilac which hold $1000L gift cards each, and NN has 5 in teal with tattoos inside. I did the KZ hunt and only found one of the 3, lol, which tells you how tricky this hunt is ;) There are tricks in addition to treats, as there are several ghosts that you can't click which are like decoys. Now obviously showing you a picture of a gift card is no fun, so I went around and chose several items that I obtained with that card. To use the card, right click the item you've selected and click Menu, then if it's a Caspervend vendor (most are here) you can click the Buy button on the card itself. The hovertext on the card will show how much it costs and how much credit you've got remaining on your card. There are also some group gifts upstairs, and I snuck one of those in as well :) There is usually a fee to join this group, and I'd suggest you stay in it if you can since Advent will be here before we know it and they usually have a calendar at that time. As for this hunt, it will wrap up in a few days when the month ends, so that is probably when the group's free join period will close as well.
My first look of the evening is the KZ Dress Laura Brown, which is $190L but I got it for free with the gift card. This flirty strapless mini has lace trim on the neckline and low waist, just above the ruffled hem. There are Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes included, along with a HUD to tint the lace that has a full grid of color to click. This type of HUD means you can choose just about any color imaginable :)
Next I changed into another great find, their KZ Dress Esme Gray. I used $220L of the gift card to claim it, and the halter style is part of what drew me to this dramatic, dreamy beauty :) We receive sizes for Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies of both the dress and a pair of panties, with two HUDs to customize the look. The dress HUD offers 21 colors for the edge and the lace, while the panty HUD offers a full grid of color to click and adjust your favorite hue.
This lovely shirtdress is the KZ Dress Missy Rose, available for $190L or free with use of a gift card. It has long sleeves that fall well past the wrist, with a Western or cowboy type style thanks to the front pocket plats, metal tipped pointy collar, and broad belt. The belt, pockets, and collar are even studded with little beads, such a pretty touch! The dress comes in Legacy, Perky, Lara X, and Reborn mesh body sizing, with several HUDs to jazz things up :) One HUD offers 18 colors for the belt, while another adjusts the decor with a color grid and on/off options. The metals & buttons HUD is what to add if you want to change their colors with 16 choices for each.
KZ Dress Candy Mint is a playful layered look with its poofy sleeves, gathered bust, cinched waist, and lacy trim. The dress and panties both fit Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. We also receive a lace HUD with 3 color grids for the sleeve bows, waist bow, and hem lace, and a HUD for the dress with 2 colors for the top and transparency option off/on so we can make that blouse layer a bit sheer if we wish. It is normally $190L but I was able to use the giftcard to receive it for free :)
Most of the remaining credit on my card went towards the beautiful KZ Top Nadia Black, whose regular price is $190L. It is summery at first glance when worn alone, but also layers beneath sweaters and shrugs very nicely for these cooler times. There are sizes for Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Rolls bodies, with a metals HUD offering 5 hues to adjust those little loops on the edging. I couldn't resist pairing it with a group gift, our KZ Skirt Pippa Fatpack, which is upstairs with several other treats for members. The style is flirtatious as with many of their designs, thanks to the left side slit that goes from waist to hem and has two chains dangling along our hip. It fits Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Waifu bodies, with a HUD offering 10 colors each for the main skirt, waistband, hem edge, and each of the two side chains I mentioned :) Get creative and make it look the way you want it to, as I believe that the ability to personalize our clothing is one of the many little things in SL that makes it so entertaining. Yes, we have big things like concerts and museums, but I take joy in doing anything in SL that I cannot do in RL.
How was everyone's weekend? Mine was pretty good, and I enjoyed the farmers market with the brisk but sunny weather. There is a baker who's there about once a month or so, who stopped by to start setting up for an event next door instead, so we chatted with her for a moment in passing. She mentioned twice how good it was to see me, so I know she's very aware that I hadn't been there in a while, which felt awkward but reassuring somehow. Very kind and friendly person, as all of the vendors tend to be, so I'm glad I saw her even briefly :) The people make it special, and the tasty foods are just a bonus. Tomorrow evening is an anxiety support group meeting, but that won't interfere with my blogging plans, just the hockey game that starts at the exact same time.
