Hiya everyone! Tonight it's time for the CMH I Put a Spell on You 5 Hunt, an annual adventure where we are looking in participating stores for an image of a carved pumpkin. These can either hold a $1L prize or a $25L - $50L exclusive offer, all up to the designers and they sometimes have more than one treat available. That's a very good reason to check the hunt website, which tells us the landmarks to each stop as well as prices and the hints to track down the pumpkins. Some folks favor this particular time of year even over Christmas/Yule, and these hunt prizes are certainly a good reason to turn to the spooky side ;)
My first look is the $1L prize from Adore Amore (actually an exclusive) called .:Adore:. Karley Halter Batty Grey. We receive sizes for Erika, Freya, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Perky Petite, Maitreya, Maitreya Petite, Reborn, and Slink Hourglass mesh bodies. The traditional icons of Halloween like ghosts, bats, and pumpkins, look so bold against the smoky background color!
Another great place to visit is CloudNine, where this $1L pumpkin rewards us with their Halloween T Her Prowl prize. Please note, there is a version for the guys as well (same price, separate pumpkin) with the same image on the front :) It reads "When black cats prowl and pumpkin gleam, may luck be yours Halloween" in vibrant colors adorned with fun symbols. There are Erika, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Waifu, and Star mesh body sizes provided.
It's hard to believe that the drop dead gorgeous ~Sassy!~ Lenore dress - blooms and bones prize is just $1L, don't you think? The flirty strapless mini dress with daring side slit is provided in sizing for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, and we even get a matching hair bow that can be adjusted with a quick edit. Its batty shape brings the same seasonal flair as the skulls in the pattern on the dress; beautiful yet slightly sinister. Fun fact - I too am slightly sinister, lol, as one of the word's meanings is left handed.
Next I changed into the delightful GoodVibes Halloweeny Dress Neon Orange prize, which only sets us back a single linden dollar. The fiery orange stripes look terrific against the darker stripes, and the style is playful yet sexy. There are Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Waifu, and Star mesh body sizes included, along with a BOM 3/4 stocking with modesty panty. They are fishnet trimmed in lace, with garters to hold them up :) I can see this working with boots or your favorite pumps to complete the look.
My final look of the night is our [Ari-Pari] Witch's Brew Outfit, which is yet another incredible bargain at just $1L :) The set includes the cropped tank top and sporty shorts, each in Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes. The enclosed HUD offers 6 colors for the top and 5 for the shorts, as the background colors for the shorts all line up except for black since the cauldrons would blend in too much. Of course the black top really brings out the colors of any shorts option, and all of these choices gave me 80s neon flashbacks which made me smile. I'm adding my favorite tiptoe sneakers and headed out on either a hunt trail or an event exploration.
My day almost felt like Sunday part two somehow, like my brain didn't make the jump to it being Monday? Clearly the brain fog is dense today, but I am glad to be getting the rest of my week planned out which helps with clarity. The SL events are popping, and I have a busy RL Wednesday planned but it most likely won't interfere with blogging.
