Halloween in a Hurry
Hiya everyone! Tonight I am sharing some prizes from two different Halloween hunts, so there is very little time left to pick up these special treats. However, they are simply too good to miss, so I wanted to be sure you got a chance to seek them out! First is the [Drac] Halloween Hunt with 20 free pumpkins to find, most of which contain home decor (tiles and rugs mainly) but there are 2 male clothing prizes and 2 female clothing prizes among the generous gifts. The store itself has several floors to examine, and you will want to check outside as well to find them all, just make sure to visit by the end of the day of the 31st so you don't miss out. Another opportunity to treat yourself is the Enticing Halloween Hunt at Entice (until November 1st), where there are 22 Trick or Treat bags to find, for $25L each. There is a small preview photo on each bag, which I greatly appreciate because I do like knowing what I'm purchasing whenever possible, and the clothing prizes have demos with each bag so you can make sure they fit your avatar just right. I am also wearing a beautiful gift from LIVIA in all these photos, my nail polish, found at the Boho Culture Fair for just $1L. Time to get peeking!
The first prize from Drac that I'd like to show you is this pretty Susanna Red Autumn Medieval Dress. It includes plenty of mesh sizes for all: 5 standard, 5 hybrid (probably fitmesh, labeled with the same sizes as standard), Belleza Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP. The colors are striking, and I feel like this style will work all year round. Even in winter, we do spend time indoors in SL, so no goosebumps ;)
This daring dress is another free prize from Drac, called Layla Blue Leopard Dress. It includes a fitmesh size plus Belleza Freya, Isis, Venus, eBody, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique versions. There is a very high slit on the left hip, and I really like the collar and how it resembles a choker; no need for jewelry there. Earrings or a bracelet would be a pretty touch if you feel the urge, but it looks terrific without any adornment too.
Now we head over to Entice, where one of those cute trick-or-treat bags holds this clever Gumball Dress - Halloween, with its seasonal colored gumballs and broad belt buckle designed like the coin slot of a gumball machine. As you can see from the side view, it even flares out a bit like the base of the machines, so fun! This dress includes sizes for Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and a Fitted version, all for $25L when you find the bag.
I have been drawn more and more to green the past few years, so the color of this prize really caught my eye. This is the Entice - I'm Real Dress - Green, and includes Maitreya, Freya, and Hourglass sizes. Just find the $25L bag with its picture attached, and you can claim this beautiful lacy creation for your very own.
Finally, we take a closer look at the gorgeous nails you can pick up at the Boho Culture Fair from LIVIA for just $1L. They are called Elegant Wine Nails, and are compatible with Slink, Maitreya, Omega, Vista, and Tuty. There are 4 designs, two in color reminiscent of red wine and two that are suited for white wine or champagne, with golden accents and a rich glossy finish. These beauties are worth way more than a single linden, and will look great on any shape or length nails you prefer.
Hair note of the night: Truth Hair has finally released their October VIP group gift, and it is wonderful!!! Truth's RL caused a bit of delay, but all is well and the gift is well worth any wait. It is named Makena and has two ponytails, which thanks to the stylist HUD can be worn in front of each shoulder or behind, or braided up in a bun like I have them today. There are various bangs options on the HUD too, and this design offers split colors so each color HUD has two sides. I tinted mine the same, but you can choose one color for each side of the center part. That is an impressive amount of variety, and I'm obsessed with braids so I love that aspect of this charming style.
I am still keeping my fingers crossed for this gross hacking cough to go away soon, but these things do tend to hang around a bit too long. I have been taking mucinex for almost a week with no results, and some herbal treatments are proving ineffective against this stubborn invader. Tomorrow I get to see my chiropractor, who will at least help my neck and ribs feel better :) Meanwhile I hope you all are having a terrific day/evening and a fun Halloween, with many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!
