Hocus Pocus
Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is another fun-filled look at some prizes from the Hocus Pocus event in SL. Grab the HUD to help you teleport to each store (and it shows previews of the prizes) from the marketplace or event office for free, then at each location you will see a playful pumpkin named Pumpkin McExtra. Say "hocus pocus" to him in local chat, without the quotes, and he will either reward you with a prize or tell you to return in 24 hours to try again. Alternatively, you can purchase the prize for $50L until the event ends on the 5th of November. There are some fantastic gifts awaiting, you just need a little luck that Pumpkin McExtra is feeling generous.
First we have a flirty tube top from Faida which is simply called Hocus Pocus and comes in a single size that perfectly fits my Maitreya body. Check out that skull on the front, who seems to have been nomming on something or someone since he's got a bit of blood on his teeth. With all that exposed neck, I decided it was the perfect opportunity to show off another Hocus Pocus prize, the Goth1c0 Heart Choker purple. It has a resize script built in for easy adjusting, and I love the intricate carving surrounding the purple heart. That rose above and teardrop below are fantastic touches!

On the left is Decoy Halloween Crop Top - Basic Witch, on the right their Halloween Crop Top - Pumpkin, each included in a Maitreya mesh size. A lot of these stores cater specifically to Maitreya wearers since they are such a large slice of the mesh body wearing population. You probably noticed the adorable collar I'm wearing, well that is our Hocus Pocus prize from Noyel called Spoopy Collar. The carved pumpkins as the O's in spoopy made me smile, and a clever match for the pumpkin version of the Decoy shirt.
I also found that the Pumpkin McExtra at Olive was in a good mood, so he gave me these terrific BunTEA Mugs to treasure. There are wearable and rezzable versions of each that you see here, and you might notice that they are steaming hot so be careful ;) The left hand version is the blue one with white bunny head marshmallows, and the right hand one has green marshmallows floating inside so I wonder if they are mint flavored. The tea bag tags are adorable, aren't they? They do have hold poses built in too, so you don't spill your tasty new beverage.
This gift cracked me up, and after yesterday's post with my explanation about choosing to censor myself a bit (nipple coverage) it was all too appropriate that I won the prize from Little Llama today. This is their Censored outfit, with 3 different shades (I am wearing the second, untinted) that are tintable and unrigged so you can modify them as needed, and it is worth mentioning that the texture is animated so those little pixels move around. This makes for a hilariously sexy Halloween costume, or just something to enjoy when you feel mischievous.
There are a few nail related prizes in this year's round of Hocus Pocus, and I am delighted to show you one tonight :) This is the Dark Passions - Koffin Nails - Fatpack - Mischievous Binx, and that includes appliers for Maitreya, Slink, and Omega. Each HUD has these 6 designs to choose from, various background colors for a black cat with glowing yellow eyes who was probably named for Binx from the Hocus Pocus movie. I was going to wait for Halloween to watch, but I might have to indulge a day early, too tempting!
Today I mostly rested, and am still having plenty of coughing fits but I think my throat feels a little better and my sinuses might be a bit clearer.
