Dark and Brooding

Hiya everyone! Tonight I decided to explore the Dark and Brooding Hunt, a $1L gridwide whose hunt object is a group of red pillar candles. The gathering of lit candles is pretty small, as you can see by the sample on the signs at most stores. Their website has hints on one tab and preview photos on another, so you can get a good idea of what you can find inside each set of candles. Some prizes are reminiscent of autumn or Halloween, others have Gothic flavor, and all are worth way more than the single linden we can claim them for :) Clothing, accessories, home and garden...there is a little something for everyone in this hunt, although as usual I am focused on fashion.

My first look this evening is called Ambrosia and is the prize from Changed Seasons. This short and fluttery dress comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh bodies, in a deep eggplant shade of purple. I love the slender T strap in the neckline that continues down into the midriff opening.

I brought out an additional light source to best display the prize from The Sissy Bar, a long and beautiful gown that has advanced lighting effects. Without my added light it looked simply black, then the white light added some blue reflections. It comes in plenty of sizes for just about any size or shape: 5 classic, 5 fitmesh, eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine.

Grumble has this In Chains Bodysuit waiting inside their candles, just follow that hint and look around carefully. The prize includes eBody, Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing, all with a sheer section surrounded by embroidered lace. The fabric pattern is intriguing, multiple designs and colors to catch the eye.

Next I visited Wiccan Wears and found their ~WW~ Scarlet- Midnight w/Red Trim outfit hiding inside their candle grouping. Its top and skirt each come in Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP sizes, and the style is very flatting to my curves. I had randomly slipped back into my Hourglass body today, and it looks like that was a good decision ;)

It is called PB~Gothic Blood Dress, and is a shapely gown with a sweeping fishtail train. I am still feeling stressed out, mostly because my weekend plans are still not ironed out while I wait for an uncle to get back to my mom. It's all focused on my grandmother's upcoming 93rd birthday (wow!) which we are celebrating on Sunday. She has faced so many health issues the past few years that it's even more remarkable that she is able to enjoy another birthday.
