Another Helping of Jerky Turkey

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post returns to The Jerky Turkey Hunt path, with 2 weeks remaining in November to claim all the $1L prizes you desire. They are hiding inside bright orange turkey feathers, and you can follow the hints on the hunt's website which also has our landmarks and even some preview images to give you an idea of what is in each feather. This is the 10th annual round of this hunt, so it has been a popular part of SL for a full decade which makes me very happy for the organizers. I am tickled pink for them, or rather tickled (with an) orange (feather)!

First I visited Applique` Chic, where I found the feather containing their AC: Autumn Vines Belted Dress. This sleeveless collared mini comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous bodies, with a built in belt on each. There is also a HUD provided with 6 colors to choose from, all of which have those pretty vines trailing as our pattern. If is a chilly day, you could always layer some leggings beneath too. 

I also picked up the wonderful prize from Luxury Store called [LS] Monica Set. It includes the revealing top and flared mini skirt each in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing. The strappy shoes are provided in Belleza, Maitreya, Legacy, and Slink High sizes, in black to match the choker which has a built in resize script. There is also a HUD for our top and skirt, offering 8 textures each that can be changed separately so you can mix and match to your heart's content. This is a great outfit for when you want to get dressed in a hurry and look extra flirty :)

Many of our Jerky Turkey Hunt prizes have an autumn flavor to them, like the charming ::BQ::Golden Leaves Dress::Orange & Brown from BlondeQueen. Both dresses come in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies, and I think both colors look terrific with the sparkly dusting of leaves swirling about. 

ART & FASHION has an alluring look in their feather, called Autumn Nude Mini Dress. It has several cutouts like the thigh slit, long keyhole back, and circular opening near the cleavage, with a nude silhouette imprinted on the front. The prize includes sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine bodies. 

My final look of the evening is a closer view of the nail art I have been wearing tonight, thanks to the prize from Sorry Charlie. Their beautiful Fall Nail Appliers Fatpack includes HUDs for Maitreya, Slink, and Omega, all with the same design you see above. The leaves look so pretty in their autumn colors, and this works very well with any shape or length nails you prefer. 

It was a fairly quiet day here, although the morning was a rough one trying to take these photos. I had trouble in SL getting any textures to show up, and kept right clicking things and refreshing textures which worked for a split second before they blurred again. Relogging finally resolved it, or whatever the problem was worked itself out in the time it took me to do that ;) It could have been random, or related to the cloud migration that SL is doing, but at least it was only temporary. I do expect odd glitches still, with the expectation that they will become less and less frequent once things settle in.
