Emerald Couture Gems

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have good news about Emerald Couture, who are reopened after closing suddenly in November due to the designer's health. I found out recently that they are open again in a new location, so I rejoined their free group (it was a victim of my Advent group juggling) and happily visited to see what was new. There is a wall with many group gifts, some of which have appeared here on my blog already, with 4 newer ones that have a distinct trend of the color red. All of these can be yours by right clicking each vendor and paying $1L which will be automatically refunded while the gift is delivered. This way it can be redelivered if you ever need it. There are also a dozen lucky chairs in the same room, across from the group gifts and midnight mania boards. 6 of these chairs need the group tag and the other 6 do not I believe, but since I already had it active I was able to claim from all the chairs. Each chair contains multiple outfits so there are numerous treats to win, just by sitting in the chair when your legacy name initial shows up or a "?" wild card that allows anyone to win. My first look of the evening is the EC Nicki Outfit v2 group gift, a fun and flirty outfit in maroon and black. The crop draped sweater, mini skirt with attached belt, and above-the-knee boots are all provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. The long sleeves and high boots say winter, but the bare midriff and thighs say we can heat things up in our own way with this set ;)

Another generous group gift is our EC Dolores Outfit Red n Black. This is also fully loaded, with a tight red dress and black cropped biker style jacket each in a standard S size as well as Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Hourglass Petite, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh body versions. The coordinated boots are included in sizes for Freya, Isis, Kupra, Maitreya, and Slink bodies. We even receive the black fishnet stockings in system/BOM layers and an applier for Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, and Slink compatible bodies. So sexy!

For a softer style but still in bold coloring, we have the charming EC Deborah Dress v2 Red group gift. This lovely flowing dress comes in standard mesh sizes and a fitted version for classic avatars, along with Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh body versions. That deep V neckline will frame your favorite necklace perfectly, and I am a huge fan of floral patterns like this fabric is adorned with. 

We aren't quite done with red for the evening, since the lucky chair prize called EC Anzu Outfit Apple has some splashes of it :) The halter top and skirt are each provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizes. The mix of red and green apples on the top is reflected in the red lacing holding the skirt together, and the matching green of the waistband, for a very nicely coordinated appearance. 

One more look this evening, which comes from a lucky chair and is called EC Kimono Kim Dress Blue. It is included in fitmesh standard sizes plus Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions. The fabric looks like it has calligraphy and flower petals on it, with a wide belt (called an obi I think) in blue to match the trim. The bow on the back is a beautiful detail, and I enjoy the way this mixes modern and traditional elements. 

With a late January birthday I am no stranger to the challenges of winter plans, yet I still find myself frustrated when the weather interferes with things. The farmers market for Saturday (my birthday) has already been canceled because of the possibility of snow, although the reports I am seeing are indicating that the bulk of the storm will not be hitting my exact area. I wasn't even going to tell anyone there that it was my birthday, it's not like I wanted to show up in a tiara and expect special treatment LOL, just wanted to enjoy time with some of my favorite people. Dinner on Friday is still a go, and I am trying to focus on that positive.
