Hiya everyone! Tonight we have two special places to visit, starting with the Holiday Magick Hunt at Malus Park. There are frosted snowflake cookies hiding all around the zen garden, fishing pier, and Bloodlines refuge, with hints and prize keys at the landing zone. The prizes are $10L each or less, and I think you will agree with me that they are worth far more :) Plus the cookies are so cute, vanilla sugar cookies with blue icing for the snowflake design. Our other destination is the Meander/Me store, whose group is temporarily free to join (regularly $250L) and there are a few dozen terrific group gifts available in the front of the store. I could not find any information on when the free join period ends, so please hurry just in case! I feel like I should apologize in advance in case it changes while I'm composing this post, since I have had some pretty weird luck lately. I have always been a fan of the Meander/Me designer, Lemania Indigo, and remember some of the very first photos I ever took in SL were of hunt prizes from her original self-named store for Flickr contests over a decade ago. Lots to see tonight!
My first look includes 5 different prizes from the Holiday Magick Hunt, which are all from HORL. The top on the left is the HORL - Isla Blouse - Blue - Maitreya, with the Pink version being on the right. I am also wearing the Isla Choker and Isla Gloves which fit the Maitreya body as well. My tasty treat is their HORL - Drink Vanilla Cup [R] with built in hold animation, and this prize includes left and right each with and without animations. Each of these prizes is just $10L, and all we have to do is find their cookies.
Next we head to Meander/Me, where I randomly chose a few of the many wonderful group gifts to share, starting with this M/M Bonfire Top GG. The cropped sweater comes in sizes for Altamura, eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Tonic Minim mesh bodies. There is also a HUD provided with 13 colors to choose from, all with the same beautiful floral stripe.
Another group gift can be seen here, their M/M Talking Tees Set 6 which is one of at least 10 similar sets offered. The knotted t-shirt includes eBody, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizes, with a 5 texture HUD. The one I picked for the left has me singing (everybody's feeling warm and right...) the King Harvest song of that name, and the adorable dog on the right just made me squee ♥. In these first three photos I have also been wearing the black pair from the Delizio marketplace freebie fatpack that appears here quite often. Several colors are in system/BOM layers and appliers for Maitreya and Omega each.
This charming dress is the M/M Bowed Over Group Gift Oct 2017 which shows that these looks stay fashionable for a very long time :) The dress comes in fitmesh standard sizes as well as sizes for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. I love the warm colors and pretty pattern, accentuated by the bow on the bodice.
For my final look of the evening, I slipped into the M/M Inspiration Dress (GG 4/21), a strapless mini gathered loosely at a high waistline. It is provided in Altamura, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, and Petite mesh body sizes, with a 10 texture HUD. The various textures look like gorgeous watercolor paintings, with some sequined edging to add even more interest.
It was a decent day, especially since I did not get much snow at all from this storm. I expect the next one (Friday) will be mild too, since it is showing as 1" or less of accumulation. I hope you're all having a terrific day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!
