Let's Get Deals
Hiya everyone! Tonight we are going to explore the 35L Sunday event called "It's May! Let's Get Deals!". There are many participating designers who offer special discounted selections here, and if you are in the 35L Sunday VIP group (free to join) you can claim gifts which are inside black gift boxes tied with red ribbon and bow. They event is open until the end of the month, so you have over a week to stop by and get some deals and treats.
My first look starts with the group gift from Uncontrollably called Lylla Dress - LadyBug. It includes sizes for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and a standard version. There is also a HUD with 4 textures for the dress and 3 colors for the belt. I have a soft spot for ladybugs because a dear friend used to call me ladybug as a nickname :) The lovely necklace I am wearing here is the gift from VENGE, their Original Mesh Fairy Crystal Necklace. When you claim this gift, you will receive the non-rigged necklace plus 3 HUDs - copper, gold, and silver - each with 6 texture choices for the crystal. So versatile!
Anny's Fashion is offering a group gift too, their [AF] Gene PickledCucumber Elegant Jumpsuit. It is provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizing, with a sumptuous velvety texture and mostly bare back. The lace embroidery on the top is such a pretty look, and the style is flattering to my curves.
Look out, hot stuff! This is the {AP}Baby Bodysuit gift from Angel Pink, that consists of daringly sheer bodysuit and low slung denim shorts each in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizing. There is also a HUD for the bodysuit with 3 textures, the two shown above and a subtle floral print. The tiny shorts look great trimmed with lace, and I would happily layer them atop any bodysuit or bikini.
My final look of the evening is another pairing of two gifts, which I do enjoy doing :) The top is from ZFG and is called Debbie Pyramid, since it reads "Caffeine is the foundation of my food pyramid" across the front. Preach! The gift is provided in sizes for Freya, Venus, Hourglass, Physique, and Maitreya bodies, all with that single bared shoulder for a little flirtatiousness. The jeans are from Loordes of London, The Garden Co-Op-#3, in standard mesh sizes plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique versions. The brown belt is attached, and there are matching brown heart patches on the front and the back. I appreciate the casually cuffed style and the slight distressed spots too.
It was a calm day in preparation for a couple of busy ones, with dinner at my parents' tomorrow evening and then picking up farmers market purchases Saturday. It is reassuring to have these tiny consistent habits from before things went so haywire in the world, since I know they will be part of my new normal whatever that turns out to be. I feel the same way about blogging and SL in general, finding them reliable and comforting. In a few hours my KittyCats! kitten will be full grown at 7 days old, so I am excited to snuggle with him later :) I hope you're all having a safe and pleasant day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!
