Midweek Gifts
Hiya everyone! Tonight we have some more Stay at Home Club gifts to enjoy, including two formal dresses with such full skirts that I had to take larger photos than normal to show them off :) There are more casual looks too among tonight's gifts, so I was pleased with the variety I found to show you. Whatever your plans are for the rest of this week, you are likely to find something just right to wear among the many gifts on their website, or click the Home & Garden tab if you are in the mood to redecorate your living space with some generous gifts. My first stop was Sascha's Designs, where you can claim this sumptuous SAS - So Long Red Gown V1 for free. Please click the image to see the full size, so you can appreciate the swirls of flexi from which this skirt has been crafted :) The top and pants beneath are provided in system/BOM layers as well as appliers for Maitreya and Omega, and the "fluffer skirt" has layers upon layers of fabric that really move when you do. I feel like there are different generations in SL, and this harkens back to the pre-mesh crowd where we had system layers and flexi, and prims instead of mesh that we could wear as a skirt flap or puffed sleeves for example. Then there is the mesh generation, with appliers and the introduction of mesh body parts that revolutionized the ability to personalize one's appearance. Now BOM (Bakes On Mesh) is combining the best of each, and it makes it possible to wear clothing from 10+ years ago on mesh bodies which is fascinating. I feel Sascha's Designs really shows the combination of technologies and 'generations' beautifully.
Time to get flirty, thanks to the gift from Ramen. Their ::RMN:: Kotomi Harness Blue-Teal has been crafted for the Maitreya Lara mesh body, and the details are so eye-catching. The wasp waist accentuates the look (it has an auto-alpha script to hide the midriff of your Maitreya body) and I love the star of studded straps holding the bodice in place. To claim this gift you will need to pay $1L to the vendor, but it will be immediately refunded while the gift is delivered.
I also visited SCANDALIZE, where I picked up their generous Stay at Home Fatpack, several outfits with matching cropped sweatshirt, shorts, and cute boots. They each come in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies/feet, and such a variety: Bunny, Cats (seen on the left above), Comic, Cute, Dogs, Funny (right), and Stars patterns. I like the idea of comfy loungewear with so many different styles to choose from, even mix or match if you so choose.
You will need to give this photo a click too, to see it correctly and appreciate the details. This is the B2K Design gift called Leonhya Dress, and the dress itself comes in standard mesh sizes plus a fitted version for classic avatars, as well as Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body versions. The sleeves are provided in Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizing, and there are two flexi skirt pieces (shown on the left) that attach to the left and right legs. I am wearing just the dress on the right without sleeves or skirt attachments, to demonstrate that it will look just as lovely either way.
For my final look this evening, I am pleased to show you the [Ahroun Designs] Lara Dress, the second of their gifts that I am sharing (please click here for the first post) since they also offer a set of Bento nails from [AD Originals] in the other store across the landing zone. The style of our Lara Dress is similar to a biker jacket, with two belts and bold zipper, and it comes in sizes for Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies. There is also a handy HUD included with 6 textures for the dress plus 6 solid colors for the sleeve details and belts, with 6 metals for the buckles and zipper. You can get really creative with that HUD, and if you've visited my blog before you probably already know what a huge fan of HUDs I am :) Versatility is essential in keeping the inventory count reasonable.
