Hiya everyone! Tonight we are visiting Grumble for a wonderful $1L hunt called Get Lucky all over their sim. There is a sign outside their front door with a photo of the prizes, and we can click for the 10 hints to find the 4-leaf clovers that contain our treats. Some are within the store itself, while others are found by following the hints on a stroll around the region :) If you love the color green then this hunt should make you happy, but the prizes are not all completely green so don't fret if it's not easy being green in your wardrobe. Just peek at the hunt key sign and this post to see if you are tempted and feeling lucky.
My first look is prize #1 which is the Grumble-Lucky Lace Top & Skirt-Green. Each piece is provided in Freya, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Legacy Nerido Pushup, Maitreya, Reborn, and Reborn Juicy sizes. The cropped top complements the high waisted skirt very well, and both have a sheer section with a lacy embroidered design that definitely caught my eye. I like this shade of green too, bold but not too dark for spring. Did you notice the transparency, particularly of the skirt? The rear view seems to show that off the best.
If you loved that style but want something brighter and more solid, I recommend finding clover #2 which contains the Grumble-Lucky Latex Top & Skirt-Green prize. This shimmery version has some blue tones to it, and I have seen RL nail polishes that remind me of it :) The top and skirt are in the same sizes as prize #1, and it's the same low low cost of just $1L.
For prize #3, I wound up having to break out the "modesty flowers" I occasionally employ in Photoshop when cropping/combining these images, since the tiny amount of fabric here is rather sheer. This is the Grumble-Lucky Girl-Bikini, another pop of green that is mostly delicate strings with the bottom being wrapped in a way I hadn't seen before. The top and bottom will each fit Erika, Freya, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Reborn Juicy Boobs mesh bodies.
I combined two separate prizes here because they go perfectly together, as I'm sure you'll agree :) #7 is the Grumble-High Spirits Top which includes sizing for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra Bimbo, Kupra Low, Kupra Original, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn bodies. It is a sexy wisp of fabric with just two tiny triangles to cover our front. Then we have #8 which is their Grumble-High Spirits Skirt, sporting the same colorful feathered pattern on black background and held closed on the left side by a pair of flower clips. Its sizes are similar - Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn bodies. There are fewer mods for the bottom half of our avatars which is why the bottoms don't need as many sizes.
My final look of the evening is also two prizes combined, for double the dazzle :) The clover labeled #9 holds the Grumble-Bling Overalls, shiny silver foil with one strap undone and the shorts slightly open, pockets front and back with lots of studs. It fits Erika, Freya, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies, which is the same set of sizes we can find inside clover #10. The tenth hunt prize is called Grumble-Bling Bra, and its matching silver studs are on a hot pink fabric instead of the silver we see on the overalls. The bra is on the revealing side, so you certainly don't have to pair these together if you prefer a top with more coverage to wear beneath these overalls. Anything I wear here I think of as the serving suggestions on food packaging...one way to go but absolutely not the only way :)
What a day...I wound up not going to my parents' for dinner, and (unrelated) my stomach has been uneasy almost all day so far. My favorite hockey team traded a player I really like, and got some jerk in return who has a reputation for being disliked in the locker room and was once suspended for repeatedly biting an opponent during a fight. I watched a video to be sure it happened that way and unfortunately yes he really did chomp down on someone's fingers and then their other hand, not an accident. Sigh. Maybe he won't want to stick around long since my team has been playing so poorly? I will be going to my usual farmers market in the morning, in strong winds so I have to be all bundled up against the cold, but it should be worth the effort.
