Hiya everyone! Tonight it was time for a little variety, so I first visited the Palomma Plaza for some generous group gifts. The Palomma Plaza is a tribute to Palomma Casanova who ran The Free Dove for well over a decade, and is very similar to its predecessor (and is on the same region) in spirit. Their free group even gives us a tag that reads "Doves Angel" in tribute to her memory, and that tag enables us to claim dozens of gifts from an impressive variety of designers. There are gifts for guys and gals, fashion and accessories along with other essentials like AOs, hair, skins and shapes. Palomma has been on my mind a lot lately, especially with the SL20B celebrations making me think about what Second Life has meant to me over the years. Now my next stop was the Midsummer Enchantment event, which has loads of exclusive offers and a hunt with prizes ranging from $10L to $25L so there is something for every budget.
The Palomma Plaza gift from Kaithleen's is a duo of beautiful dresses, so the tricky part will be picking which to wear first :) On the left above I am wearing the Anjelica Dress in Lavender, with the Mustard version on the right. There are sizes for eBody Curvy, Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies in each, with HUDs in both that offer 20 colors for each of 4 sections (bodice, high waist, both ruffles at the hem) for plenty of versatility. They both look wonderful as a solid color too if all those color combos aren't your jam.
A neighboring display (the red arrow from my landmark should show you to the aisle right between the two) is that of Prism Designs, where you can claim this flirty Ellie Mini Dress & HUD by Jezzixa Cazalet. It includes classic S and L sizes, as well as Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizing. We also get a handy HUD with 6 colors of the texture that has silver brush marks on it, which is a very pretty touch. The hemline is extra short and the side cutout adds even more sex appeal, making this a great date night choice.
The sweet Prism SHADI Floral Dresses by Jezzixa Bunny calls Easter to mind because of the bunnies (and I see a painted egg) but is also just nice for warm weather like now :) In sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies, this sleeveless cutie has a contrasting ruffle on its brief skirt hem that picks up the pink shade of some of the flowers in the pattern.
We can also pick up the beautiful Prism Latifah Maxi Dress by Jezzixa Earth & Sun gift here at Palomma Plaza. This strapless sundress has Boho vibes thanks to the style and fabric pattern, very nature-loving with such warm flattering hues. The gift includes sizes for eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. I think adding some simple gold jewelry would be nice, or something in similar colors, ohh plus neutral hued sandals for a very summery look.
There is a magical fairy-like theme afoot at Midsummer Enchantment, so I was eager to visit and explore this wonderfully decorated event. One of the many participating stores is [Ari-Pari], whose exclusive offer is called Midsummer Sparkle Outfit. This gorgeous look is just $250L and available just until the event wraps up on the 8th of July, so we have just enough time to try on that demo and return for some shopping :) The top and skirt will both fit eBody Reborn, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite bodies, and there is a HUD for each with 12 lovely colors for the main and the trim. If you are so inclined (as I clearly was), you can also add the included floral headband, which has a resize script built in and a HUD with 12 colors for the roses that match the clothing shades perfectly. The blooms are on a slender black headband, which will hide in some hairstyles but as a neutral color it is fine to peep through. The sparkly texture adds to the ethereal feeling, doesn't it?
My Tuesday was fairly quiet, which is a relief after all the storms of Monday. We are expecting showers in a little while, but not the kind that comes with a light show ;) They will be back in a few days, but for now I'm just going to enjoy the peace while I can. I haven't quite decided what to blog next, but there is plenty more from Shop & Hop for me to share so that is a strong possibility.
