Let It Snow Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is all about cold weather, as the hunt prizes I am sharing come from the Let It Snow Hunt 4. We are looking for a tiny snowperson with a scarf (flat prim image) for $1L in each store, with hints on the hunt website to guide us. The website also has some preview images along with all of the landmarks, so you will want to have it open and available while you follow the hunt path. I randomly chose 5 hunt gifts that are ladies fashion, but you will also see that there are mens fashion and home decor items among the many prizes. 

My first look comes from one of the sponsors of the hunt, Wiccan Wears. Their snowman holds this lovely ~WW~ Ava Teal Snowflake Dress & Boots, which are a great way to stay mostly warm while flashing hints of skin. The dress comes in standard mesh sizes along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP versions. The prize also includes the peeptoe stiletto boots in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing. 

When the weather gets chilly, a common instinct is to reach for a soothing warm drink, as I have done here :) This is the female hunt prize from ~MystRie~ (male prize is in a separate snowman) called Snow Days Loungewear, a single mesh piece in fitmesh standard sizes (S, M, L) as well as versions for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine bodies. The snowflake coffee mug is included too, and it has a built in animated hold pose with sipping motion as shown above. There is even subtle steam rising from the beverage for added realism.

Next we visit [Ari-Pari], whose snowperson holds this delightfully versatile Winter Knit V-Neck Dress - LISH4. The long sleeved dress hugs every curve, and has a pretty snowflake and stripe pattern whose flake colors match the solid sleeve color in your choice of 8 hues via HUD. The dress is provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes. Special note: the landmark on the website is the store's old location, so please use the one from my ending credits (or right sidebar, as they are one of my sponsors) to make sure you visit their new home. I sent a message to the hunt organizers this morning, but as of right now they have not updated the website yet. That is not a complaint, as we all know how busy both RL and SL can be, just trying to be as helpful as possible to them and you :)

Double the dresses means double the fun! Our hunt prize from Artistic.Rage is their A.R Snowyflake Dress Light/Dark, and both shades of blue are each provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. The various white flakes look striking against each color, and the little peek of white on the neckline brings out the white of the pattern even more. 

My final look of the evening is the Prairie - Camila Gift, a pretty striped sweater and long distressed skirt. Each come in Freya, Isis, Legacy, Legacy Perky, Hourglass, Hourglass Petite, Maitreya, and Maitreya Petite sizing, so there is a wide range. I am really impressed with the ingenuity of the mesh body makers community, to have various ways to modify their bodies to suit more and more shapes and sizes. Not all curvy women have the same curves, and not all curvy people are women, so this allows for more flexibility in self-expression. I am always pleased to see more clothing brands supporting the different sizing by including those versions in their offerings like this. 

It is a chilly evening here, so I am even more bundled up in RL than I am in these images tonight ;) Slipper socks, the kind with the non-skid gripper things on the bottom, are a must for me...I am wearing a pair of those and a robe for warmth, and my lap blanket is protecting my legs from the cold air.
