Hiya everyone! Tonight it felt like a very appropriate time to explore the Baby Its Cold Outside Hunt 3 from Cheeky Monkey Hunts. This gridwide event has us looking for delicate snowflakes that hold $1L hunt prizes, $25L hunt exclusives, or $50L hunt exclusives. Just take a look at their website and follow the landmarks and hints, so you can be sure you're finding the correct flake :) There are preview images so you know what is inside each. There are so many wonderful designers taking part, and plenty of affordable treats that show different takes on the theme this month.
Buckle up and get comfy for my first look, which contains not one but three terrific hunt offerings :) The top on the left is our $1L WINTER WOLF Tee from The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co., with beautiful artwork on the front of the soft white tank top. The one on the right is theirs too, the FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS Tee which is their $25L exclusive. It has the cutest snoozing bunny on it, and says "Follow your Dreams" above, "Go back to bed" beneath. Definitely good advice for these chilly and rainy days we've been having in my neck of the woods! Each top comes in standard mesh sizes as well as eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine body sizes. Of course we need just the right comfy pants for that nap, so head on over to Starlight Apparel where one of their $1L snowflakes holds these .{SA}. Kimora Pyjamas Valentine Pink. The hearts are such a romantic touch, I'm definitely ready for a nice cuddle session ♥.
The cold weather does make me think of shades of blue, which are very well represented on our Aurora Moon $25L exclusive offer called AM Snowy Skater Dress. This lovely prize includes sizing for Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. The neckline and sleeves are trimmed with snowflakes similar to the hunt object, and the light blue picks up the palest shade in the plaid of our short flared skirt. So playful and pretty!

For my final look of the evening, we take a gander at my fingertips where you'll see the amazing [REM] Baby Its Cold Outside Nails. These are their $50L exclusive offer for the event, generous length coffin nails in teal to blue ombre with splashes of different colors on the tips. They come in Belleza Gen X, Erika, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn versions, and are so easy to wear...just hide the nails built into your body with its HUD, then add the correct size nails to your outfit. I think these are a perfect length for SL because any shorter and they are harder to see or notice, but much longer and they can conflict with many poses and AOs that might cause clipping into your hands or random body parts. How to catch someone's eye without poking their eyes out I guess ;)
It was another adventure of a day, thanks to the third power outage in two days very early this morning. Fortunately it didn't last long, but there is more bad weather (rain and wind) headed my way again so there is a high probability of yet another loss of electricity. The generator is extremely low on fuel, and we're on the list to get the tank filled but we have to have the large fallen branches removed first to make way for their hoses. Chaos as always ;) I'm looking forward to dinner at my parents' tomorrow, and that's about it for my next few days.
