Hiya everyone! Tonight I decided to try my luck at Emerald Couture, where there are lots of lucky chairs and lucky boards that you can access with their free group tag. As you'll see, I was very fortunate and won lots of generous prizes from them :) The chairs change letters every minute, and there are lots of "?" wild cards where anyone can claim the prizes, oh and also worth mentioning is that each chair contains multiple treats which often includes several color varieties of a particular dress or outfit. Most of these prizes I won more than one version of, so I had a high likelihood of finding my favorite colors among my new goodies. With the group tag active, we can also click the midnight mania boards to the right of the chairs, and pick up some group gifts from the wall behind us when facing those chairs and boards. First I decided to show off two prizes at once which are, as I was just explaining, variations of the same prize :) On the left you can see the EC Bloom Dress Teal Solid prize, and the EC Bloom Dress Blue is the lovely floral on the right. Each of these are provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Kupra, Kupra Low, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh body sizes. The knee length hem is accentuated by a fun ruffle, and the plunging back adds a touch of sex appeal.
Another don't miss prize is the EC Aeliana Outfits Lavender seen above :) The top and skirt each come in standard mesh sizing as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Kupra, Maitreya, and TMP sizes. Then we have our matching sandals to fit Belleza, Maitreya, Kupra, Slink, and TMP feet. The strappy style of our footwear suits the clothing so well, and I love the retro feeling of the polka dots on the fabric!
Another wonderful lucky chair prize I won is the EC Diamond Outfit Green, one of I believe 3 versions I won in just one day :) The top is cropped and wrapped for a playful style, and the pants have a built in belt that accentuates both our waist and hips nicely. Each piece is provided in standard mesh sizes as well as sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP bodies.
One of the lucky boards (on the right, below the others, if I recall) eventually turned to a D and I won this beautiful EC Ivy Dress Ombre Pink. The pattern has a rainbow of colors in what reminds me of clouds, with white snowflakes and a very pretty pink trim. My final look of the evening comes from another lucky board, and is called EC October Outfit Pine. The lace trim on both is just gorgeous, and I am a huge fan of the square neckline that can easily show off your favorite necklaces. That left thigh slit is a playful little touch too, don't you think?
It has been a weird whirlwind of a day, but the good news is that the power came back after about 6 hours on the generator. That generator only had about 8 hours' worth of fuel, so it is very fortunate that they restored power before their initial estimate which would have been something like 19 hours past the actual restoration time, meaning 17 without electricity/propane. Tonight I watched a hockey game, the first one with the player we got in a trade for the rights to the dude who decided he didn't want to play here. The more I read about that, the more I'm like wow that kid is a punk...lol...he initially said he was born to play here, so excited, blah blah blah, then stopped returning calls a few months ago and when his bosses (the high ups on coaching staff) flew to Sweden to meet with him, he actually refused. Rude! We are known for our booing and generally intense crowds here, LOL, so he is going to have a rough time when he eventually plays against us here. The new guy played really well, got an assist in his first game, and the team flew his parents out to watch so that was heartwarming :) He is just 21 and has played about 120 games in the NHL so far, looks very promising.
