Hiya everyone! Tonight we are visiting Palomma Plaza, the wonderful tribute to the memory of Palomma Casanova (Dove) of The Free Dove and Bundles event fame. Her loss is still felt deeply by those who loved her, and I am always comforted by the ability to visit a continuation of her wish to help as many people as possible ♥. The Palomma Plaza group is free to join, and that tag lets you claim every single gift in the building! The old landmarks to The Free Dove will still get you here, as it was built on the same region and Shelby Monitor is doing a fantastic job keeping the original spirit alive. I've randomly selected two designers with neighboring displays to share gifts from, and my landmark should give you a red arrow between the two of them. The first anniversary of Dove's passing was just a day or two ago, so it felt extra special to visit in her honor.
My first look of the evening is our Tastic-Dyana Dress gift. It is an elegantly simple sleeveless mini dress that hugs every curve, in sizing for Freya, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. We also receive a HUD with 10 very pretty colors to choose from. I'm all set to accessorize (there's jewelry at the plaza too!) to dress it up or down, depending on my mood or where I'm going.
Next I combined two gifts for one smoking hot look :) The top is the Tastic-Irina Tank Top, in sizes for Belleza Classic, Belleza Curvy, Erika, Khara, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Nerido, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Reborn Juicy mesh bodies. As you can guess, there's also a HUD, which has 10 color combos and an on/off option for our sleeves. At first I thought the colors were pride flags, but I couldn't find any flags in a few of the color patterns so now I'm not sure. I really like the way the straps cross in the back, visual interest whether you're wearing the top with or without the sleeves. It goes really well with the Tastic-Pam Denim Skirt, naturally since denim is so versatile. The pizza pattern on the left above caused some major cravings, and I'm always a sucker for florals like I picked on the right.

Almost all of my conversations today revolved around the weather, thanks to the storms that are bearing down on us over the next couple of days, and the local tv shows were fairly obsessed with it too. So I guess my mood is understandably apprehensive, with a focus on being properly prepared for safety. I'm not panicking or paranoid, just practical (and yes, that's a lot of P's). Tomorrow I have a phone appointment with my family doctor, the one who ignored me since September when I have tried contacting her numerous times on the patient portal (as she told me to) and by phone. When I needed my thyroid meds filled again and the pharmacy contacted her, she did authorize the prescription but also had her nurse call to TELL me that I now have a phone appointment on Friday at 11:30. Odd perhaps, but my parents did have an in-person visit recently where they mentioned that I'd been trying to reach her without success. I don't know what will happen, but it's been a frustrating situation and I cannot guarantee I will still have a primary care physician by the end of the call. I'm sure she had a lot of in-person cancellations due to weather forecasts and chose the timing based on that, which is sensible and I am only bothered by being scheduled without being asked. What if my therapy visit was the same time? Deep breaths...all will work out in the end...I really do hope you're all having a wonderful day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!
