Happy Anniversary TLC

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are celebrating the 10th anniversary of The Liaison Collaborative (TLC) event, such an impressive achievement for the organizers and their original mesh creator participants. The TLC group is free to join, and there are gift boxes at most of the displays which we can click to receive the generous gifts. I'm showing an assortment of those gifts this evening, and I am very excited about the treats I found here. There is plenty of time to do some shopping too, as the round just opened and lasts until the 10th of April. 

My first look is a playful one if you are going to be celebrating Easter, or feel like dressing up as a Playboy bunny :) It is the *LuLu* BUNNIE_BUBBLE GUM gift and has been created specifically for the Maitreya mesh body. The outfit is comprised of the strapless leotard, collar, cuffs, tail, ears with resize script, stilettos, and an applier for the stockings. They are all separate pieces so you can wear as many as you wish or leave anything off that you want to. The shoes were initially up higher on my ankles, but I was able to edit and move them down to my feet so if they don't fit you correctly at first, don't panic and try doing what I did. Surely I'm not the only one eyeballing those sexy seamed stockings and wondering what else I can wear them with?

For your next formal event, or whenever you feel the urge to dress up spectacularly, I suggest the **LURE** dress TRINITY-RED gift. This stunning mermaid style gown and a matching necklace chain are each included in eBody, Legacy, Perky, and Maitreya mesh body sizing. I am showing it with the necklace chain on the left and without on the right to give you an idea of how the accessory changes the look, very pretty either way :) The slight train is a fun detail too, an elegant touch that makes even the simple act of walking look extra special.

I had to get a bit creative with the pose to show you the -CoreEssence- Dress Rebby, thanks to the fact that this gift is all strap and no coverage on the bodice. This head-turner will fit Altamura, Erika, Freya, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Maitreya, Prima, and Reborn mesh bodies, and includes a HUD with 10 wonderful color options for the texture that looks to be embossed with X's. 

I decided that the best way to show off tattoos was stripping down to the basics, in this case a set of pasties and thong that I found for free on the marketplace from [CT]. They are a single piece BOM system layer, as well as appliers for Maitreya and Omega. the star of the show is the gift from Juna called Dala tattoo Woman, whose intricate artwork appears on the collarbones and upper midriff, both arms, and even the upper back which mirrors the front upper chest piece. There are Light, Medium, and Dark versions (dark shown in hopes that it photographs the best) in system/BOM layers and appliers compatible with Altamura, Belleza, Eve, Maitreya, Omega, Signature, Slink, and TMP mesh bodies. That is a great range of compatibility, isn't it?

One final look this evening, I kept the X pasties and thong on but changed into another striking tattoo, this time the REVIVER - TLC GIFT KYO TATTOO. I had to look fairly closely before I realized that there is an elephant's head up top, front and center, among lots of large classic roses in full bloom. Both arms are covered in roses, and much of the midriff all the way around, so this can peek out through many styles of clothing. The tattoo is provided as system/BOM layers in Light, Medium, or Dark which is the one I am wearing above. I find it contrasts my light skin tone best to show up in photos easier, but the other opacities are great for that well worn, lived in look. 

My goodness, how is the weekend over already? Saturday morning was chilly and the winds were harsh on any exposed skin, so I'm glad I slathered my face with Vanicream before heading to the farmers market. It seems to work with my sensitive skin, and I am using the large tube that I initially bought for my dry feet so versatility is nice :) A few vendors were unable to make it to market this weekend which was a bit of a bummer, but I made the best of things and enjoyed seeing the people (and dogs) who were there. Tomorrow I'm going to the chiropractor and will ask him about this painful pinky, as I have the x-rays on CD he can see, and his office also does physical therapy which might be necessary. Paparazzi Treats

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I explored some stores whose designers are part of the Paparazzi group, and found several wonderful gifts for everyone who visits wearing the Paparazzi group tag. It is free to join and has a nice range of designers, so I hope you enjoy these visits as much as I did :)

My first stop was V8 Underground, whose Paparazzi gift (on the same wall as several other groups' treats) is called **MARISA MAITO INCUBUS URBAN STYLE COMPLET OUTFIT**. It is very alluring, thanks to the plunging neckline and extra short wrap skirt. The outfit consists of the top, skirt, belt, panties, and heels, each in sizing for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. There is also a HUD with 2 choices each for the top (solid or gold embossed), skirt (solid or sheer ruffle), panties (same as top), belt metal, and boots metal. I love that we can wear it with or without the belt, and even slip off the skirt for a private peekaboo!

There are gifts for several groups at Petry Model also, like the Paparazzi's lovely OutFit SOKO seen here. Its dress and sandals each fit Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies, with 10 color choices for each via HUD. The hemline of the dress is a unique one, thanks to that buckled strap holding an opening loosely in place, and the sandals are so intricate! Can you imagine having to lace them all the way up over the knee in RL? It is much easier to just appreciate the ease in SL of adding them and then tinting them a wide range of colors in a snap :)

Ewa Boutique has the tempting {EB} TAMMI GIFT waiting for Paparazzi group members, all yours for free. The strapless dress is provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes, while the boots come in sizing for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink feet (they didn't fit mine quite right so I used the Maitreya HUD to hide my feet, easy peasy). Then we can add the stockings with an Omega HUD, and the bracelets for both wrists are adjustable. The mesh backpack is a playful touch that almost makes it look like the dress has straps from the front, and it is an optional addition just like all of the extras here. That plaid pleated skirt gives a schoolgirl vibe, but the buckles and boots ramp up the sex appeal for a mature feeling that I appreciate.

It could be said that I was slipping in another St. Paddy's Day green look, but without any shamrocks I think the TDPaparazzi Gift from Taylor Designs will look smashing all year round :) It is a charming bare-shouldered long sleeved dress, with short hemline that really hugs our curves in a flattering way. There are Freya, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizes included in this wonderful gift.

Another fantastic place to visit, especially with that Paparazzi group tag active, is LEXU where you can claim their ELOISE DRESS GIFT. It is in such a dramatic blood red shade that it will certainly turn heads, if not for that color then definitely the sexy styling :) We receive sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. Now the only problem is trying to decide which of these great looks to wear first this weekend!

This morning I was washing my hair and when I squeezed to wring the water out of my hair, I felt a tearing popping sensation in the problem finger...somehow that simple action seems to have undone all the help the cortisone shot gave, and now it is even more painful than before the shot. Typing is torture, and I can't imagine how a simple motion I've done every time I wash my hair for decades could suddenly be dangerous. I am continuing to ice my hand every few hours, and will have to go back to the hand specialist I guess. I'll be seeing the chiropractor on Monday as a routine monthly visit, so will also get advice from him since his office also does physical therapy. Ugh. Despite that, I did have a very nice visit with my parents for dinner, and will be going to the farmers market in the morning. Green Freaks Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we explore the Green Freaks Hunt, a fantastic free gridwide hunt from SL Syndicate that (along with the corresponding sidewalk sale) celebrates all things green. Many of the prizes are St. Patrick's Day themed but generally you can expect gorgeous shades of green in all sorts of fun items. The hunt lasts until the 26th so you have well over a week left to find these goodies, which are hidden inside gold coins with a green clover on them. I always enjoy SL Syndicate's hunts and events, and if you are on the lookout for bargains I recommend peeking at all the stores' discounted offers at $25% off or more. 

My first look this evening is the ::WD:: Long Dress - Stripes which is one of 3 free prizes found at Web Dew. There are sizes for Freya, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Hourglass, Hourglass Petite, Physique, and Physique Petite mesh bodies included. I was drawn to the bold vertical striping and the single bared shoulder, and let's not forget the pretty attached belt. 

Another generous Web Dew hunt prize is the beautiful ::WD:: Dress Willa. In addition to the stunning asymmetrical hemmed mini dress, we also receive matching panties, all in Erika, Kupra Squeezed, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn sizing. The panties are in the same sequined fabric as the dress trim, as you are about to see...

The Willa panties came in handy to help me show off another prize without showing off too much ;) This is the Eliavah ~ Opulence Blouse, a strapless corset style top in emerald green, with black ruffle at the lower hem. It includes eBody Reborn, Freya, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Maitreya Flat, and Petite sizes. All you have to do is find the free gold coin to claim it.

My final look of the evening is the Normandy-WICKED Claws prize, a daring and delightful set of pointy mesh nails in green with teal hues. This one did not have a year on it, but the landmark inside says Havendale Village which is the new hunt HQ location. The store is a fascinating build, and I always enjoy visiting.

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I am back with some exciting lucky board prizes from AMUI, which are free for all to use with no particular group tag required. There are 5 lucky boards that each have a rotating set of prizes, and the initial that can win changes every 5 minutes on each. This looks like two layered pieces but is all linked to wear at once, in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh body sizes, with a 6 texture HUD for versatility. There is a stunning watercolor feeling to the textures, and the sequin trim on every edge really caught my eye too. From the front it almost looks like lingerie, especially with so much bare skin showing, but all the essentials are covered. 

Next I delved into some of the separates, like the .:AMUI:. "Kelly" Shirt & Vest prize. There are sizes for Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies provided, and the HUD offers 24 colors each for the shirt and vest with 8 colors for the patch as well as the ability to turn it off if you prefer. Sometimes I just click all the buttons until I come up with a look that jumps out at me, LOL, just seeing various combos and deciding my color mood from there. I paired this top with the prize called .:AMUI:. "Sidney" SHORTS - BLUE which is one of 3 colors I won (black and brown being the others) of this particular treat. I am old enough to want to call these Daisy Dukes, short denim shorts that flatter our booty in what I call the lucky 13 of  mesh sizes - 5 classic, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink. This delightful tank top is included in standard mesh sizes plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh body versions, and a 3 texture HUD whose choices reflect the name of this version of the Sidney top. As for the jeans, they are also named Sidney, specifically the .:AMUI:. "Sidney" SKINNY JEANS - BLACK prize. We also receive a 3 texture HUD with a range of denim hues, of which I am wearing the darkest on the left and the lightest on the right so the one not shown is in between colors. I did the same with the shorts, showing the darkest and lightest, just for fun :) The shape of these jeans really is a slender fit, so I am wearing the enclosed alpha layer since that works out really well with BOM and mesh bodies. 

My hand is slowly healing and feeling less painful from the cortisone injection, and I think taking last night off from blogging was the right move. I'm still icing it every now and then, as instructed, and I find that bruises usually stick around for me quite a while so no surprise that it hasn't changed much. I lost power yesterday for a little bit because of the winds, but the weather has calmed down considerably and is just still chilly without rain or wind. Basalia's Fine Fashion

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we visit a new-to-me store called Basalia's Fine Fashion, who offer fashions specifically crafted for the Maitreya Lara body. Any survey I have seen in the past few years indicates this is the most worn mesh body on the market, so if you are one of the many Maitreya fans (like myself) you can join the free BFF store group and claim about a dozen gifts at no cost. I appreciated the range of styles and colors, as variety is important to me :) In addition to the dresses seen here tonight, there were bikinis and a Christmas seasonal skirt set so there is a little something for many times of the year.

First up, we see the sexy BFF Charlene look in Hibiscous dress in a richly floral pattern that I love. The bodice is loosely laced closed for a nice view of cleavage, and the hips are exposed by bold openings for even more sex appeal. I think a C-string (crotch pasties) would come in awfully handy for wearing this out and about :)

The BFF Scoop back minidress in white is a great choice to wear when you want to look pulled together and classy, yet flirty. The high neckline in the front adds charm, while the short hem and back opening are tantalizing details.

Next I indulged the bird lover in me by changing into the BFF Bonnie Summer Baby doll Hummingbird group gift. I absolutely adore the print of colorful feathered friends, and the strapless style is great for the warmer weather that is on its way. I'd also happily layer mid-length shorts or capris beneath this for cooler times, just to get to wear it for multiple seasons :)

Two of the group gifts are different versions of the same style dress, so I put them both in this look for you :) The left is called BFF Aleta dress in damask red, and on the right we see the BFF Aleta dress in green lace. I simply could not choose between them, either the bold red with pretty white damask pattern or the soft minty green with subtle lace embossing. Dress them up or down with your choices of footwear and accessories to make either look your own. 

My final look tonight is the BFF Ariana look Sequined party dress Orange gift, and it is a dazzler! The deep color has a burnt reddish orange that is very flattering, with a nice texture that made me think "disco" for some reason :) The front and back are held in place by long straps on each side, showing off lots of skin without displaying anything inappropriate. This is one of those styles that will absolutely turn heads, don't you think?

My visit to the hand specialist turned into a bit of an adventure. I was expecting him to maybe tape the finger, suggest exercises at home or physical therapy...nope, he said we can either ice it and hope for the best or go with a cortisone shot. After 6-7 weeks of pain, waiting did not feel prudent so I opted for the cortisone 😳. The last time I had an injection of it was 20ish years ago, broken foot, and it was painful for a few minutes then fine. This hand one though, I'm afraid it is not so simple. Typing is miserable and I almost didn't blog tonight, but now my plan is to take tomorrow off from blogging (I am supposed to rest my hand) unless it makes a miraculous recovery. I was unprepared for things to work out this way but resting it might make it better for Wednesday or Thursday in the long run. Meanwhile I am icing it with cute little round ice packs, hehe, and admiring the growing bruise. If there is still pain in about a month I will need an MRI to see what is going on in there with the tendons. Other people have fun stories like they hurt themselves skydiving or snowboarding, then there's me with my injury in my sleep. The doctor isn't even sure what is wrong, something about a rare condition saddle-something (?) without fitting all the criteria so maybe not. Sadly this is not the first time I've ever baffled a physician, nor will it be the last I'm sure. I hope you're all having a pleasant day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

Hollywood Glamour

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I welcome you to explore the Hollywood Glamour Hunt, brought to us by Cheeky Monkey Hunts. There are treats for every budget, as the hunt prizes include $1L offers as well as $25L exclusives and $50L exclusive items, so each designer can choose which and how many of those to provide. They are all hidden inside a hunt prim that resembles a Hollywood Walk of Fame star, a special detail that is particularly appropriate on Oscar night :) I am always impressed by the designers who take inspiration and turn it into these creative offerings that speak to each of us in various ways. The website has landmarks, hints, and previews of these terrific prizes, so please use it to navigate this event for the remainder of the month. That's right, we have all of March to visit the stores and find the glamorous prizes we wish :)

My first look this evening is one of three prizes we can find at The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co., as they offer one of each price point. Their SUGAR PLUM FERRET Tee is the $50L exclusive offer, with just the cutest little tutu-clad ferret showing off their pretty fairy wings while holding a star wand ♥. I am torn between saying that fairies can be ferrets too, or the reverse that ferrets can also be fairies. We receive 5 standard mesh sizes as well as eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizes. 

The $25L exclusive prize at The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co. is called I LOVE MY BOYFRIEND Tee, and is a cheeky declaration of feelings that may or may not be spontaneous ;) The larger print "I Love my Boyfriend" is easy to read, and the fine print says "(and yes, he bought me this shirt)" which made me chuckle. I love the way these tank tops fit, a bit loose for comfort but still showing off curves which the beloved boyfriends probably enjoy too.

If you guessed that this is the $1L prize from The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co. then I would say you are clearly paying attention :) It is the QUEENIE Tee, and comes in the same wide range of sizes as the other two seen above, with a crown adorning the word Queen. Ladies, believe me that you are worthy of this title and crown ♥! (Gents and non-binary friends, you are royalty too in my eyes!) Every woman out there needs reminding from time to time that we are strong and capable, and you choose to be a part of SL so you certainly have good taste too.

The Sissy Bar is another favorite hunt stop of mine, and they have a $1L star for us with this dazzling (TSB) Hollywood Glamour Hunt Gown inside. It has long sleeves, wide V neck that could frame your favorite necklace or choker, and a full skirt ending in a show-stopping train. That emerald green will come in very handy in a few days if you're so inclined 🍀, and the style is a timeless classic. There are classic M and fitmesh M sizes for classic avatars provided, along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body versions. 

My final look this evening is the Tea Lane exclusive $50L offer, called ~TL~ Vivien Formal Gown. I remember this store from my early days in SL and am tickled to see them back inworld and creating such stunning fashions. This gown had me trying to decide if that is a sunrise or a sunset, and is that tie-dye or watercolor? Bottom line = gorgeous, and the harnessed halter style is a winner in my book. It includes standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh body versions, so many classic or mesh avatars will be able to wear this beautifully. 

My weekend was chilly but fun, and I am happy to report that my keyboard was easy (and affordable) to replace so no more sticking keys. It is the same exact model, yet it does feel a little different so slight adjustment time. I will keep the nail polish away from the keyboard from now on too :) It was windy yesterday at the farmers market and the adorable Boston terrier who is there every week was shivering, even in his handsome little sweater, so he was getting lots of snuggly attention. I petted him for a while, then a woman gave him what looked like a head and neck massage, then another lady had a long puffy coat that he could hide in at the hem while being petted some more. FabFree Hunt Prizes

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we take a look at several more hunt prizes from the FabFree St. Patrick's Day Hunt, which are between $0L and $5L and can be claimed by following the website's hints and finding the neon rainbows at each store. The prizes are certainly impressive, and at 5 lindens or below they are quite affordable for savvy shoppers. The hunt runs until the end of the month, but I figured I would share now since the holiday itself is just a week away.

Emerald Couture has 3 hidden rainbows with a free treat inside each, so I'm starting with the lovely EC Chun Green. The sleeveless dress has a floaty style cinched with a built in belt, and comes in standard mesh sizes plus a fitted version for classic avatars as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizing. The well-matched shoes are provided too, in Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink high sizes. I think I see some bamboo among the flowers on the pattern, very pretty :)

Another Emerald Couture rainbow contains their EC Trisha Dress Green Denim, a striking mini with full skirt and a layered look. We receive Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizes in this thoughtful gift. The richly dyed denim looks terrific against the shamrock-studded over layers!

The third prize from Emerald Couture is this sexy EC Shay Dress Black Green, which dips low both front and back for added sex appeal. It's got a leathery sheen and a black rose pattern over the green sections, and did you notice the lacing in the back? There are sizes for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies included, as well as a standard size for classic avatars. 

Entice is also taking part in this hunt with several $5L rainbows waiting for you :) This is their Sure Thing BOM Lingerie prize, a gorgeous bra and panty set in a trio of fun colors. They are on separate layers so we can mix and match, and I'm wearing the fuschia of both on the left with the lime bra and green panties on the right. The textures are beautiful, with solid satin and floral embroidery on both pieces. I appreciate the color variety too, since otherwise this post would be almost entirely green ;) 

My final look tonight is two fantastic hunt prizes that go perfectly together - the Entice - Galway Girl Tops and Galway Girl Shorts. The tops have versions with and without the plaid trim, each in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. They all say "Classy Lassie" on the front, decorated with a green top hat and a 4-leaf clover. Our sporty shorts fit Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn bodies, and are trimmed in a golden yellow to match the shirt. The good news is that my holiday manicure is complete, but the bad news is that I am clumsy and managed to spill top coat all over my keyboard so I'm struggling with several keys that were glued together by nail polish. I tried my best to clean it up while it was wet, but once it dried there wasn't much I could do and being clear I couldn't see it all at the time. I have limited space but it was still obviously a mistake to do my nails too close to the keyboard, and it is old and was acting funny on occasion but now I need a replacement pronto. Fortunately it isn't an expensive or fancy one, so its successor won't need to be either :) Please excuse any typos in tonight's post, I am trying to be careful but also not take too long either. My weekend plans are typical for me, a visit to the farmers market in the morning and then relaxing on Sunday. I hope you all have a lovely weekend ahead, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!
