Trick or Treat Lane

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'm inviting you to this year's Trick or Treat Lane event, which is doing things a little bit differently than prior rounds. There are exclusive offers as usual, and the tricks/treats this year are the change...we have the choice of buying the treat for $50L at each booth, or search the entire half region for a ghost holding a small bag for free. Previous years the designers could choose to either hide in their booth for a trick, or put out for free on a hay bale for the treat. So this year we get to see a photo of the treat next to the bag to purchase, then decide if we want to hunt for it for free or pay for it right there. The website is helpful too with photos and explanations :) I love this event, and had so much fun searching around the beautifully decorated region! Be sure to check high and low, inside the booths, up trees, behind decorations, just anywhere you can think of to track down all these sneaky ghosts.

My first look is the charming [Witch In A Box] Corvina Dress. This sweet treat (yours free in the hunt, $50L at the display, your choice as with all of tonight's looks) has a HUD with 6 textures, so we can choose solids or starry patterns for the fabric. The dress is provided in Freya, Kupra, Kupra Bimbo, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh body sizes.

If you'd like something flirty, be sure to find the Miamai_Witchy Bodysuit BOM prize! It is just as advertised in the name, a BOM (system tattoo) layer, in black lace with a sheer center that has a pentagram (pentacle?) in the middle. The halter straps are crossed in the front to loop around the neck, so pretty! It is great for this time of year, or any time if you are so inclined.

Dark Intentions has 2 ghosts hidden for us, one of which holds this intriguing DI Not So Innocent Dress (ToTL). It comes in sizes for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Petite, Peach, Prima, Prima Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. I'm not sure what I managed to get all over my dress since my innocence would mean it's something harmless and accidental, right? Something sure did splash a lot...

If the suspicious pattern on the last dress was not your thing, perhaps the DI Cute Ghosts Dress (ToTL) also from Dark Intentions is more your speed :) The colors alone made me extra happy, and the friendly looking spirits are a nice touch too. This dress is the same style as their other prize so the same sizing, and a now-familiar handkerchief hem or skirt with the sides draped just so. It really flatters our curves too!

My final look this evening is the Enchanted Dress Purple prize from JR Wolf Creations. The unique style shows a ruffled hemline that has been torn on the right, making for an opening and a trailing ribbon down the leg. Find this ghost and you'll receive Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes. The deep purple hue has a maroon tint in my lighting, very intense and attractive.

It was a hectic type of evening, but that isn't entirely a bad thing. I went out briefly before a late dinner, then my mom decided we all needed to discuss Thanksgiving plans even though I'll be seeing her for dinner tomorrow. If you're confused by that, so was I, LOL! Pulled the dear family friend/occasional houseguest into the text convo, as they are attending as well, and we have more of a game plan so all is well. I'm watching a late (west coast) hockey game that's getting pretty wild, making me gasp and make noises that are probably too loud for this time of night. Oopsie.  Hiya everyone! Tonight we're visiting the Halcyon region of SL21B Shop & Hop, one of 24 regions that are filled with offerings from top designers, 480 of those to be exact :) There are free gifts at every display, with exclusive offers and discounted items galore so get your favorite virtual walking shoes ready and your virtual wallet. I'm going to mention again the hard work of the FabFree team in keeping a spreadsheet with landmarks and photos for every single gift, sharing that link with a huge thank you to their team. I just finished visiting places this morning and I still have some organizing of gifts to do, but I do keep them sorted by region to help you track down the gifts I'm sharing a bit easier.

My first look is perfect for soon-to-be brides, or anyone who appreciates the fine craftsmanship that comes with a sheer lacy gown in snowy white. Whew, what a wild evening for hockey fans! It was game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals, no not that trendy kind you drink out of (you have no idea how confusing it was for me to hear about influencers wanting a Stanley cup when I know it as a sports trophy!) but a prize my favorite team hasn't won since I was an itty bitty toddler. The Panthers won the first 3 games, the Oilers won the next 3 to tie things up, and that left one last game to win it all. The final score was 2-1 Panthers so obviously it was amazingly close, and I expect that there is much partying in Florida tonight. As for me, I have a blood draw tomorrow that I am terrified of simply because it means leaving the house and going further than my usual little outings, so I'm struggling to calm myself. I am taking tomorrow evening off from blogging as a mental health day, and I'll be starting to fast in a couple of hours so my day is not going to be a particularly fun one. I know I've done this dozens of times before and I can do it again, logic is just not taking a hold in my panicking brain. Party at Bellisseria

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are visiting Bellisseria, the continent where premium Linden homes are located, for their 5th anniversary party. There are gifts galore with no group tag required, mostly home and garden or decor type treats but there are some clothing and accessories too :) There are even special KittyCats breedable pets for free, although I was unable to claim my pair due to a weird glitch but Xan got his so he can put them out at our house if he wants. I am a premium member and have a home in this continent, so it's neat to see the celebration of their 5 years with the newer styled houses being released from time to time. I guess it won't surprise you that I'm focused on the fashions tonight! The party lasts until the end of the month.

For my first look I'm enjoying the gorgeous :: pm :: Aurelia Dress Exclusive Edition for Bellisseria gift from purplemoon. The style is fascinating, with wrap front and single sheer lacy short sleeve! There are sizes for Gen X Classic, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies included. The pattern on the midriff and skirt reminds me of brushstrokes, very elegant.

Another don't miss gift is the AlaFolie - VERONIQUE (Bellisseria) dress. The top and skirt each come in standard mesh sizing as well as Lara X, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Prima Busty, Prima Petite, Senra Jamie, Slink, and Tonic Fine versions. There are also 4 BOM slips (shorts) and a HUD that lets us choose from 4 prints for the main dress and 6 solid colors for the waist and top trim. That makes for fun variety, and I am always a fan of florals :)

Next I slipped into the dreamy [hh] Joelle Dress which is our generous gift from Hilly Haalan. With fluttery sleeves and soft ruffled hemline, it looks great in any of the color combinations available via HUD :) That handy addition has 25 textures each for the front, back, and trim of the dress, which fits Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Khara, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn bodies. I did a lot of mixing and matching here, but we can just as easily go with all one fabric for a sleek look.

Those are very handy to have no matter what you're wearing, so I am hanging onto a folder-full of them in a separate main folder too :)

Whew, weekends can get so weird sometimes. I had my therapy session this afternoon, and have mostly been hiding/hanging out up here in my computer room to avoid the beer-soaked chaos taking place downstairs. We were all supposed to watch the eclipse together, but somehow plans changed several times since then and I have no clue what's happening tomorrow now. All I got out of the housemate was something about a movie at 4:30 and there's no food left in the house. Why yes I am facepalming, LOL, while almost wishing I weren't sober. Shop and Hop Forsythia

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post features some gifts you can find on the Forsythia region of the Holiday Shop & Hop event. That is one of 16 regions filled with talented designers (20 apiece for a grand total of 320!) offering discounted sales items and gifts for all visitors. I am always tickled pink, well this time of year it's probably tickled red and green LOL, to explore the shopping areas and indulge in some bargain hunting. We do deserve to treat ourselves well this time of year, and I appreciate having so many brands in one location to tempt us with familiar favorites or some who are brand new to me. 

My first look of the evening is the adorable *katat0nik* (Maitreya) Yeti Sweater Outfit, a one-piece layering of sweater and knit shorts whose name ensures you won't forget which body it fits. That is the original Lara from Maitreya, she of immense popularity :) The yeti has some super cute rubber ducky friends, and the snowflakes have little hearts in their centers for added kawaii flavor. Instant favorite thanks to the cute factor, and there is something fun about wearing shorts with a sweater. 

If you were afraid that all the gifts would be Christmas or Winter themed, let me reassure you with the [GIULIADESIGN] -ALOMA- treat seen here. This lovely outfit consists of the top, skirt, and panties each in sizing for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. The strapless top and high waisted mini skirt are both straining at their buttons enough that a couple seem to have popped open, so it's a good thing we have the panties as a modesty option :) I definitely appreciate having both of my favorite colors included in this outfit, in very pretty pastel versions of each.

Don't leave the [GIULIADESIGN] display too quickly or you might miss their other gift, this wonderful -TIKA-WHITE-BLUE! Believe it or not, this one is worn as one single piece, so our top, belt, and jeans are all linked together. It comes in Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes, and I was drawn to the bare shoulder top style as well as the many pockets on the jeans that would put the fun in functional.

Next we see the Miamai_Carla Bodysuit_Crimson gift, which is provided in several different BOM layer versions so you can choose your favorite look. The bodysuit alone, or with light stockings (on the right above), medium stockings, or dark stockings (left) each have versions with or without shadows. I believe I chose the shadow version for the dark, and without on the right for the light stockinged set. That will be handy if you're layering atop a tattoo that would be affected by the shadow. It is terrific when creators offer plenty of options so we can decide what suits our second life the best :)

For my final look tonight, I couldn't resist the !PCP:: Mia Shirt [Present] from Pink Cream Pie. The front reads "Gonna go lay under the tree to remind my family that I'M THE GIFT", with a present on one side and decorated tree on the other to really accentuate the saying. It fits Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn bodies, while sending a playful message to your SL family :) The shirt itself is crafted beautifully too, cropped with a peaked front that is not quite a sharp point down the front but just extends a bit. The long sleeves are great for this time of year, and I wore my white Delizio jeans from their generous marketplace gift that appears here quite frequently. 

After an intense kind of day, I am preparing for my dental visit tomorrow which is only my third time going anywhere other than my parents' (a few blocks away) since the agoraphobia resurfaced this summer. The abject fear is hard to describe, but my teeth don't deserve to be neglected again like I did from that phobia many years ago. I trust everyone in this dental office, as they've all been very kind and compassionate to me over the years, and I'm more worried about the car ride to and from than the visit itself which will be obscured by nitrous ;) The nitrous grogginess is the reason I am taking the evening off from blogging tomorrow, as I usually do after a dentist visit, so I'll be back Friday with my next post.
