Hunting with Harambee-Gwassi

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is a bit of a variety, since I started with one hunt and hopped to another by the same folks :) That would be the Harambee-Gwassi charity store, who organize fantastic events and hunts for us to enjoy just about every single month. The first 2 prizes I found were from the July hunt, the Ice Cream Cone Hunt, then the rest are from August's Save The Sea Hunt. I completely understand that not everyone is ready for the new rounds each time the month changes, and am simply mentioning so you know what hunt objects you are looking for :) Also that helps you to know which hints to follow, and if the prize I share is no longer available by the time you read this, you can always check for the newer hunt prizes at that location instead. Each round has 2 hunt items available, for $3L and $10L apiece, so the websites are quite handy to have open to tell you which you seek. Also, you can get a notecard with links, pics, and hints by clicking the hunt sign at participating stores.

My first look is an Ice Cream Hunt prize found in a $3L triple scoop ice cream cone, the Violet Skies - Xanthe Outfit Lime. You'll need to unpack this the traditional way (rez on ground and right click to unpack) because of a no-copy BOM shirt inside, which is a cropped fishnet top you see above as the base layer. The mesh components are the bodysuit and skirt which are designed for Lara X, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Nhumana, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The outfit looks just as nice without the fishnet layer as it does with it, so let your personal tastes guide you there :) 

The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co. is also running a little behind this month, which means we still have the chance to grab their $10L YOU'RE HOT Tee prize from the Ice Cream Hunt. We just have to find the pretty little cupcake, as this hunt was all about the sugar rush :) The cozy charcoal tank top says "Wow You're Hot" in bold 3D block lettering, and comes in standard mesh sizes as well as eBody Classic, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Waifu, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh body versions. It's all on an unpacker HUD so you can deliver what you need right now and hang onto that HUD for future reference if you wish. That's what I always do anyway :)

Time to switch over to the Save the Sea Hunt, for which you can find the ILL Hazar outfit in a $3L oyster shell with pearl inside. This edgy top and skirt set includes sizing for Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. I love the plaid on the skirt, looks fantastic with the black leather corset-laced waist and cropped top with open sides! It's going to be right at home in any Goth, alternative, or punk avatar's inventories.

Now I'm curious about the existence of eco-friendly pirates, thanks to the @rOrO Harlow Dress Pirate Print which is a $10L prize from Save The Sea inside a cute blue octopus hunt object. The bare shoulder style is a flirty favorite of mine, and the ruffle around the top and upper arms has such a fun pattern of sailing ships just like a pirate would have or commandeer. There are sizes for Erika, Lara X, Legacy, Pushup, Reborn, and Star mesh bodies included. I did notice an ice cream cone there too, so keep on searching if you'd like something else sweet.

My final look of the night is our $3L prize for Save the Sea (seashell with pearl) from GoodVibes called Moana. Isn't she lovely? I'm certainly feeling nautical and a bit naughty in the open weave dress covered with multicolored shells, while appreciating the two most carefully placed ones that cover the upper essentials ;) We also receive a string bikini bottom for added modesty, so where's your favorite adult beach to wear this to? We receive Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Waifu, and Star mesh body sizes of both pieces. 

It was a fun evening of gaming with friends online, and I am pleasantly surprised that my new glasses are ready to be picked up much sooner than expected :) It was supposed to be 2 weeks but I got the text today, and will be headed there before my parents' for dinner tomorrow. I wonder if they felt sorry for me, LOL, or just want to make sure I don't have any more reason to complain ;) Honestly I was very polite about everything and didn't blame anyone but my own brain for feeling too dizzy with the extra strong prescription. I'm eager to get things moving so I can prepare more for the cataract surgeries themselves, as much as I dread them, since it will drastically improve my vision. Summer Light Fair

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we explore the Summer Light Fair & Hunt 4, which is organized by the Harambee-Gwassi charity Bunny Isles for Kenya. There are sales offers with donations to said charity, and the hunt is looking for $3L tropical drink glasses here at the event. Many of the designers are also offering free gifts which is my focus of the evening, several great temptations to visit :) While you're there, please enjoy shopping and/or making donations at the kiosks in a few spots around the event area.

My first look is the duo of dresses from [C.Y <3 Fashion] named *Milly*dress gift. One is pink with rose-adorned white hearts on its pattern while the other is solid black, and each are provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes. There are also shoes included that are not labeled as to a size, but are probably for Slink feet since they were the original mesh feet in SL and they did not fit my Maitreya tootsies quite right ;) Slink used to be the default size for shoes, and I used to wear the Slink feet with my Maitreya body because of that.

Emerald Couture also has a thoughtful free gift out for us, their EC Bannie Summer Dress. Isn't it lovely? There are standard mesh sizes along with Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Khara, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Petite X, Hourglass, Physique, Peach, Prima, and Reborn mesh body versions. The gift also contains a HUD with 4 textures to choose from, so you can decide which pattern suits your mood on any given day. The halter style and fun straps in the back certainly made me smile too :)

We all deserve a little treat for these hot summer days (and evenings!) so be sure to grab your ILL Irene bikini bom for free from the ILL "I Love Lida" display. My final look of the night combines two wonderful gifts that can be worn together or with anything already in your inventory. The top is our LGW *FYF24 Pack* from Let's Get Weird, a store where I cannot decide which I love more - the name or the pizza slice unpacker HUDs with pepperoni arranged in a smiley face. This pack includes a men's sweatshirt in several sizes with the same adorable frog image as the tee I'm wearing for the ladies. The female sizes include Classic, Curvy, Erika, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Peach, Reborn, and Juicy mesh bodies. As for my sassy lil skirt, that is the Figooo Skirt - F1 HUD gift, a layered mini skirt with bold built-in belt and daring slit on the left thigh. There are sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies included, with a HUD offering 10 options - 5 different colors each with silver or gold belt detailing. 

It was a decent day here, no outing but I mostly got good rest which is an improvement for recently. The new medication could be affecting things so even though that's going better overall, I am still keeping an eye on that potential side effect with hopes that it will diminish soon. There is another heat advisory for Thursday and Friday, so the heat wave is back with air quality issues to boot. Magical Spring Fair Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are visiting the Magical Spring Fair Hunt 3, a charity event at the Harambee-Gwassi location until the 10th of May. There are $3L prizes at the event in a magical unicorn hunt object, and lots of the designers are offering free gifts as well with no group tag needed. I always enjoy visiting here, and knowing that the proceeds are going towards helping education and generally improving the way of life in parts of Kenya where needed is a great incentive to shop and donate generously :) It is impressive to find so many thoughtful communities in SL that do what they can to benefit people who need a helping hand, from individuals facing sudden illnesses to entire countries in crisis. These designers are mostly familiar to me from prior rounds of this event or other happenings across the grid, so their high quality offers are wonderful and consistent with their talents.

My first look of the evening combines two terrific gifts found here for free :) The outfit is the Telsiope's Couture Ariadne gift, a boldly sensual top and skirt set in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies each. The strappy top has three chains draped across the bust, which are a nice match for the golden trim on the belt that is attached to our fluttery skirt. As for the body art, I'm also enjoying the Vera tattoo-THIRD EYE treat here which is a unisex tattoo on the chest and shoulders down to the elbows. We receive a BOM layer as well as Maitreya and Omega appliers, with a marking in the center that looks like the Eye of Horus surrounded by intricate linework. 

Another free gift you don't want to miss is the !AS!LADY OUTFIT from ANNE SILVER. The top and skirt are each provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes, in a vibrant shade of red that looks to be very flattering on many different skin tones. The top has a front-crossed halter strap, and the skirt has a high waist band above the loosely wrapped front that is tied on the right mid-hip to show off lots of leg without revealing too much.

There are a few tops that deserve your attention, like this lovely ::Sweet Intoxication:: Zara Top - Honeysuckle gift. The pretty pink color looks great on the draped top that is gathered and tied in the front, with a bow there that matches the ones on each shoulder. This gift includes Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizing and will go with all sorts of pants or skirts in your inventory.

I Love Lida has a cute free treat for us on the back wall of their display, called ILL Maria top Maitreya. Care to guess what size it is? ;) While it was created for the Maitreya Lara body, it is possible that it will fit other similar ones thanks to the loose fit. I paired it as with the prior gift with the blue Delizio jeans from their fatpack that is free on the marketplace. It has several different denim hues in system/BOM layers and appliers for Maitreya and Omega. The blue pair here is about to make a third appearance in this post as well...

My final look of the evening is the ANTISOCIAL Tee free gift from The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co. It is a softly ribbed white knit tank top with the word ANTISOCIAL on two lines, with ANTI in pink and white stripes and SOCIAL a pretty teal with yellow dots. I can easily be mistaken for antisocial as I am rather shy and awkward before I get to know someone, and am not good at starting conversations, and if that makes me antisocial then this is the prettiest way I've seen in SL to wear that label :) The Bold Llama's tees are provided in 5 standard mesh sizes as well as eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body versions, so this will fit most of us comfortably. 

This weekend felt odd, both longer and shorter than usual, as I am now confused because earlier I thought it was Monday already. Tonight I had a notice where I normally click to start a new blog post, that my last post was flagged as adult and will be behind a warning that needs to be clicked to continue. I am baffled because I didn't think having the word "sexy" in the title was enough to be considered adult, nor bikini shots without nipples or visible thongs, so I apologize if anyone got that warning and was either deterred or disappointed when it turned out to be a false alarm ;) I tested it while logged out and didn't see the warning though, so maybe it was an error. Otherwise my weekend was mostly good, as any day with kisses from a precious Boston terrier would be ♥. He and his human are regulars at the same farmers market I am, so I see them nearly every weekend and look forward to it very much. Temptations from Unik

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have a few more wonderful gifts from the Unik event and their 4th anniversary celebration round. We can claim them all for free just by joining the free Unik group and clicking all the bright red boxes we see at nearly all of the vendor displays. There is a little something for just about everyone, and I definitely enjoyed my visit there to see all the great offers while picking up the generous gifts. This batch of goodies seems extra sexy to me, not overly adult like you'll need a fainting couch, LOL, just leaning more towards the sensual side.

First I shimmied into the flirty gift from TheBeautifulOnes called .:TBO:. Zara dress TEAL. It has advanced lighting materials enabled which means you will see added shine (the purple tones) if your settings permit it. The dress is provided in eBody Curvy, Erika, Freya, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Star mesh body sizes. Besides the fantastic texturing, I was drawn to the style and the way the back is mostly bared except the X of straps.

My next look is the lovely [GIULIADESIGN] -CAMILA-CREAM dress and belt set. The strapless mini dress and 3 belts (black, pink, and white) each come in Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya sizing. This way we can decide which color belt if any we wish to wear at any given time. The black makes for bold contrast, the white is much more subtle, and I think the pink gives the cream dress color a faint peachy hue. There are no wrong choices :)

Two gifts appear here, so let's start from the top :) That would be the I Love Lida gift of ILL Rosa top, a bare shouldered tube top with drop sleeves. It fits Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite bodies, and includes a HUD with 6 textures in various shades of blue. That made it a natural choice to pair with the F.E.C DENIM TORN SKIRT, a super short mini with double zippers in the front that have worn spots in between them and then down each hip. This treat is provided in sizes for Erika, Erika Petite, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn Rolls, and Reborn Up mesh bodies. There is also an unbuckled belt attached that trails down to just past the hem, another playful touch that caught my eye.

I might be in for a very hot evening with this next pairing! The top is our nera. trina top (gift) and comes in Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Reborn Juicy Boobs sizing with a 3 color HUD. The one now shown is white, and all three have a faint design of roses. I guess the racy red is what led me to wear the SLC Slipped Thong Shiny *6 Colours* as my bottom here :) There are Altamura, Freya, Isis, Venus, eBody Curvy, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Tonic Minim mesh body sizes, with a HUD that offers 6 colors apiece for the panties and the bows. Those tiny bows appear on both the front and back, and the rear view really is sure to capture the imagination.

My final look of the evening is a duo of dresses, since our AnaSTyle - Lesley Light Gray gift includes two subtly different versions. They are each provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite bodies, and the main difference seems to be the side panels in the front which are lighter color on V2 (right above). The back of both are solid gray. I can't decide which look I would prefer, accessorizing with bold pops of color or sticking with silver for a monochromatic appearance. 

Lately it feels like my middle name should be Chaos, and it's not even big things but a ton of little things that keep cropping up and keeping life interesting. I am looking forward to a hockey game tomorrow evening and that is about all I have planned for the day, which is good because it'll be a rainy and chilly one. Group Gifts from eBENTO

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have some gifts to share from the eBENTO event for their December round. All you need is their free group tag active, and then click all the gift boxes you can find at most of the vendor's displays. It is easy to get into a holiday mood when there are bargains to be had and free treats to claim, so I am very glad I visited :)

My first look this evening is the striking gown from ***LURE*** which is their dress TRINITY-SILVER. The dress and necklace chain each come in sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies, and since they are separate pieces you can wear the gown with or without the necklace. They do resemble snowflakes and the bodice of the dress is trimmed with similar adornments, so personally I like the look worn together. But if you have a favorite necklace or collar that you prefer, you certainly have the option which I do appreciate.

Optimus Ride is offering a playful bodysuit as their gift for us, called OR SEXY GIRL RACING SUIT 12. The formfitting suit is racy indeed, and is provided in standard mesh sizes along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP body sizing. The white V between black and red sections is especially flattering as it draws the eyes directly to our curves.

I also picked up an adorably flirty gift from KEY STYLE, their SANTAS LADIES GIFT 2022. The bodysuit and cape are each included for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies, with a hat that is unrigged and adjustable as needed. We can wear these pieces all together as I did on the right, or just the one/s that suit our mood of the moment. The bows and corset style lacing down the front are such pretty details, and I feel like without the hat and cape, the bodysuit is not holiday-specific.

I hope you're not tired of red, LOL, as I next slipped into the beautiful Carol's Store-Franny Glitter Dress Red gift. This dress has a fantastic texture as you can see, and fits Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Momma, Reborn, and Reborn Juicy Boobs mesh bodies. The strapless style means you can get very creative with accessories, like nearly any length necklace will work wonderfully. 

One last look this evening, a little something to warm up a chilly night :) This is the ILL Christmas underwear gift from I Love Lida, with bra and panties each to fit the Maitreya body. That bold crimson color is just right for the season, yet it can come in very handy any time of year of course. Valentine's Day, a random summer afternoon...it's all good!

It was quite a day...my housemate went from thinking he was coming down with something (slightly sore throat, nothing else) to 102 degree fever and nearly passing out in a matter of 2 hours or less. The covid test came up negative, thank goodness, and he already had a family doctor visit scheduled for tomorrow as I also do. If he hadn't, I would have given him my appointment if she allowed it. We are thinking it is a standard flu, but the doctor may wish to do that brain-tickling covid test (hehehe) so I might wind up in a quarantine situation. Talk about bad timing, so close to the holidays and a few days before his trip to visit family in his home state. Mid-Season Mystery Fair

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we head to the Harambee Mid-Season Mystery Fair, which features sales offers for charity as well as a $3L hunt for fairies and some free gifts for all visitors. There is a nice variety among the offers and gifts, so you should be able to find something for your wardrobe or your home and garden. I also did some hair shopping for a different good cause, so my entire looks this evening have me feeling positive :)

First I tried on the [C.Y<3FASHION]*AGATA" DRESS GIFT, which is a trio of leather dresses with a different color for the top and skirt. I'm wearing the beige & pink on the left, with black & yellow on the right, and the one not shown is brown & black. Each color combo is provided in eBody, Freya, Hourglass, and Maitreya mesh body sizes, flattering in any version :)

I Love Lida has two free gifts waiting for us, one of which is the alluring ILL Diletta dress. There are black and white versions (packed separately) each in sizing for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies. They both have a built in belt on the front that is laced like a mini corset, and the deep plunging neckline is a very sexy touch.

Bikinis can be useful year round in SL, like this playful ILL Monica bikini which is our other gift from I Love Lida. There are 4 color versions (blue, blue border, red, and red border) that each fit Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. We also receive a pair of white pasties as a BOM layer, without which our nipples would be peeking through the slender straps of the bra portion. 

I also found a generous free gift at the Emerald Couture display, their EC Raine Dress Gray. This bodycon mini dress is trimmed with scalloped lace at the hem, and decorated with a built in belt just beneath the breasts. It is provided in standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Sapphira, and TMP mesh body versions. 

My final look of the evening is the free gift from *ASIA* Fashion called SHARON. This outfit consists of the top and shorts each in eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and TMP sizing, then continues with the shoes to fit Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink high feet. The tied mesh headband is unrigged as I was able to adjust it quite easily, and I am really enjoying the all-black look with different textures and fabrics. The back view of the cross-laced top is just as pretty as the lacy inset of the front, and those shorts are extra brief while covering the essentials ;) I might pair the top with a long skirt at some point just for fun and variety, and the shorts will go well with BOM layer tank tops and even bikini tops. 

Hair note of the night: Doe is having a special sale to help the designer pay for an emergency RL relocation (the housing market is really cutthroat in some areas like hers) and so naturally I did some shopping :) The sidewalk and street are lined with fantastic hairstyles that can be purchased as fatpacks or (here is where I saved lots of $ lindens) special fun packs for $75L each. As always I recommend trying on demos to see what the different fun pack's HUDs are like on the style you're interested in. I would say a few surprised me in a good way, and I am very pleased with my purchases that include the Flux version of Breathe that I'm wearing tonight. It has optional flowers that I chose to hide, although they cascade beautifully down the spiraling ponytail that curls down our back. We get to help a designer afford her new RL home and enjoy savings on gorgeous hair, so that's a win-win!
