Hiya everyone! Tonight we are back at the Winter Shop and Hop event, this time with gifts from the Halcyon sim. That is one of their 6 sims with a total of 120 designers offering discounted selections for your bargain-hunting pleasure. In addition there are gifts at nearly all of the displays, so be sure to keep a look out for those :) The event runs until the 6th of January, so no need to worry if the holidays still have you super busy for now.
First we have 2 of the very generous 3 gifts from Ella, so please be sure to click all 3 boxes. On the left I am wearing their Duone in Black, whose top and skirt are each provided in Freya, Isis, and Maitreya sizes. The bare shouldered top and floral trim on the skirt are such pretty touches. The look on the right is the ella Rouxe in Red, which has the appearance of two pieces but they are connected and worn as one, in the same sizes as the Duone set. The bright color is very fitting for the holiday, but the style lends itself to year round wear, so you can enjoy this whenever you prefer.
The third Ella gift I am delighted to show you is their Roxy // Silver, which possibly due to my windlight settings is appearing more of a gold on my viewer. Believe me, it is striking no matter what color it appears! The design is a very revealing one, with cups that look like gold leaf attached to a skirt that is basically front and back panels held together by a few straps on each side. The gift includes Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya sizing. It made me chuckle thinking of looking like a chocolate holiday coin, waiting to be unwrapped!
The next gift comes from the [Lomomo] display, and is their Oriane Dress. It comes in a Maitreya rigged size in deep green, trimmed with gold and awash in playful ruffles. The double breasted style means two rows of pretty buttons down the front, and the full skirt accentuates those ruffles nicely.
If you are looking for a flirty top and are fond of the color blue (as I am), stop by the Masoom setup and give their gift box a click to claim their Emilia Top - Royal. It comes in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, and Maitreya bodies, and the long sleeves make for a fun contrast to the cropped length and open laced neckline. Fortunately navy goes well with many other colors, so I was happy to wear it with both versions of our Snowflake Leggings gift from Mossu. The blue and pink are each included in Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya sizes for you to choose from, and will look great beneath whatever type of top you decide to wear with them.
For my final look of the evening, I paired two more gifts found on the Halcyon sim. The top is from Gaia and called Catty Neck Top GIFT, provided in sizes for Freya, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. There is also a HUD for the neck patch, with several wording choices (some NSFW) in black or white, as well as the option to turn it off and wear with a solid red band. The pants are from Just BECAUSE and are their Quincy Leggings - Snowflake Pattern. These include sizing for Freya, Hourglass, Physique, Legacy, and Maitreya, so a nice selection of popular mesh bodies. The waistline is just slightly beneath the navel, so neither overly high nor overly low which suits this weather perfectly.
It was a busy day and not particularly fun, especially the podiatrist appointment where I had 2 ingrown toenails dug out of my poor neuropathy-riddled toes. No wonder I am not into feet, LOL! At least the evening improved with an exciting hockey game, so I am in a decent mood for being so achy. I am still struggling to figure out my schedule for the next few days, so for now I will just say that my next post should be around this time tomorrow evening but beyond that is still in the air. Hiya everyone! Tonight we head back to the Aurelian sim of the SL16B shopping event, since there were plenty more generous gifts to show you. There are 4 other shopping sims too, so stay tuned for their gifties too :) The event is still quite crowded, so no need to worry if it's full when you try to visit...there are about 2 weeks remaining. I also have a gorgeous free gift from Entice to show you, with a bit of an explanation. No group needed for this one, all visitors can claim it and enjoy.
My first look is two of the three generous gifts from ella, with Lilly // Yellow on the left and Nerida // Blue on the right. They both come in sizes for Freya, Isis, and Maitreya mesh bodies, and I have a little secret about the Nerida - that bottom swash is so low that I used a modify patch on the skin to hide my private parts ;) I am wearing 7 Deadly Skins MANUELA in their "dew" shade, and these patches come in all current skin tones. They can be purchased at the store or marketplace, and if you collected their Advent gifts this past December you probably already have them.
{le fil casse} is offering this terrific Rachelle Dress in Sugarplum as their SL16B gift. It is provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya, with a plunging neckline and tie in the back. It is very short, so be sure to wear your favorite panties beneath just in case ;)
We also can claim this fun outfit by visiting SL16B, from .miss chelsea. called Kaia Jumpsuit Plum. The top and pants are one piece, and the sleeves are separate so you can wear with or without them. Each come in Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing, all in the deep purplish shade that will flatter all of us.
I love these shirts from toksik! Their gift is the Selva Top in 3 colors (lime, magenta on the left, and mint on the right) which each come in sizes for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya. The bold ruffles are a sweet touch, as is the lacing in the front to hold things together.
Time to visit Entice, so we can pick up this adorable Love Story Dress - Patriot. It is provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, with a HUD that lets you choose the color of the dress, bow, and pearls each individually. The colors are red, white, and blue, so it can be worn to honor the USA or Canada quite easily. Entice is a collaboration between two talented designers, one of whom is American and the other Canadian, so this dress is a nod to both nations. You could easily wear it solid blue for example, or any combo that does not reflect either country's flags if you are from elsewhere :) It is free for all visitors, not sure for how long though so I would visit soon.

Hiya everyone! Tonight we visit Tres Chic to celebrate their 2nd anniversary, where you can find exclusive selections for sale as well as gifts at many of the displays. You will need the free Tres Chic group tag active to claim them, and you will find them inside stacks of blocks with letters on them and hearts inside one of the top two. There is clothing and accessories along with a wide selection of home decor, well worth exploring this fun round which is open until the 10th of June. I also have a fantastic eye makeup set to show you from LIVIA, who is in the process of moving so all of their offers are on the marketplace for the time being.
The very first thing I'd like to point out here is my hair, which is a group gift from =DeLa*= called Irene. It includes a color HUD with 18 shades to choose from, an excellent variety of natural, ombre, and fantasy. The glossy appearance definitely caught my eye. My outfit is from Black Opium and is their Ingrid Win gift. It consists of top and skirt each in solid or ethnic print, all in sizes for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya. I mixed them here but you can pair them up as a match too, whatever suits your mood, and it will look just as beautiful.
I changed the hair to a deep brunette shade, and slipped into the group gift from AVALE called Kathia - Black. It is both elegant and flirty, with a slip style and sheer skirt, and would look great with any type of jewelry you like. It comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh bodies.
This Roxy dress in Copper from ella made me think of dragons (I may have expressed the opinion to Xan that my boobs looked like dragon eggs when I first tried it on, LOL) so I chose a wilder hair color too. The shimmery dress comes in Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya sizing, and the style is just out of this world.
This auburn hair color is my usual preference, and I think it looks exceptional in this style. I changed into the anniversary gift from Insomnia Store called iS Spring Babydoll Dress Flowered SUN. It has two versions (flowered left, sun right) each in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, and Maitreya. The sheer layer atop the skirt looks pretty with or without the flowers, and what a fun way to be ready for summer!
This striking new release from LIVIA is called Daily Glam Eyeshadow and Liners, 6 varieties for $129L each HUD. There are Catwa, Genus, and LAQ compatible appliers on the marketplace as well as demos, just sort by newest (Age:Newest First on drop menu, top right) to find the one you wish. I am wearing the Genus versions here, and I love a bold flick of eyeliner along with that wash of coppery brown shadow. Neutral colors have the advantage of being wearable with any outfit, from your boldest colored dress to a cozy pair of jeans. There is something about LIVIA and their cosmetics that always helps me feel extra pretty :)
It was a fairly typical Sunday here, other than a quick storm that had the potential for quarter-sized hail. Fortunately the hail stayed away, and I'm just tired of all the weather warnings we have had here lately. I'm about 100 miles inland from the Atlantic Ocean, so not usually strongly affected by hurricanes or tropical storms, so this is clearly a change. Tomorrow, actually about 7-8 hours from now, the annoying houseguest leaves and then for dinner I'll be going to my parents' for a mock BBQ hehe. Tonight I am showing you the rest of the Sn@tch Fish 4 This set called Hair Grab Bags, each of which can be caught with a 7 Seas rod (buy it on the marketplace or right there at Sn@tch) and no bait needed. I love hanging out at the store with Xan and fishing, while keeping an eye on the lucky boards and riot vendors. The grab bags, as with all of the fishing prizes each round, are transferable so you can trade your extras with friends to complete the set even faster. I also visited the Limit8 event for their birthday round, where nearly every designer has a special group gift at their displays in small wrapped boxes. The group is free to join, and the round is open until the 13th of October, so you have some time to visit but I'd like to point out that the event features selections in limited quantities. I am wearing one of the fantastic gifts tonight, as you are about to see.
If you are feeling a bit wild, or just want a fun way to add some animal print to your wardrobe, be sure to pick up the Limit8 group gift from Ella.
