Hiya everyone! Tonight we take another look at some Valentine's Shop and Hop gifts, this time from the Gilded sim which is one of four full sims dedicated to the event. In addition to gifts from each designer (over 80 total!) there are discounted offers so you can pick up something special for your valentine or favorite friend, and treat yourself while you're at it. I always enjoy these events for the opportunity to see what longtime designers are creating these days, and being introduced to newer stores so I can expand my SL horizons.
My first look this evening is the free gift from [spectacledchic] called Hailey Set Love. The top and skirt each come in Freya, Hourglass, and Maitreya sizing, with bright red hearts on a deep blue background. The square neckline looks pretty both back and front, and you could use it to frame a necklace or just enjoy the way it flatters the cleavage. The skirt is gathered by a wide elastic band for a fluttery look, high waisted yet falling barely mid-thigh.
Combining elegance with sensuality, this look is the Vestito di Amanti Lovers Outfit from Bella Moda. This gift includes the jacket in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and a Fitted size, with heels in Belleza, Maitreya, Slink High, and resize versions. There are two necklaces provided (triple black bead necklace and jeweled horn necklace) with resize scripts built in, and packed separately inside the gift you will also notice a black lace heart crotch for modesty which comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP bodies.
MALified is offering a very generous gift for Maitreya mesh body wearers - a fatpack of their Victoria's Heart Lingerie. It comes in black, blue, cyan (seen on the right above), pink, red (left), violet, and white, each packaged separately with bra, panties, belt, skirt, and the entire outfit as seen on the left to wear all at once. On the right I am wearing the cyan bra and panties without the skirt or belt.
I have always been fascinated by flapper fashions, so the gift from Sylvan Moon Designs called Ain't Misbehavin' Dress Set certainly caught my eye. It includes the dress and beads separately (wear with or without) each in sizes for XS, S, M, Maitreya, and Slink. The way the back is draped and so revealing is very flirty, and the texturing is exquisite.
My final look of the evening is courtesy of Tachinni, their Shelby Dress Free Gift. It has a tiny animal print in lovely earth tones, and gathered sides at each thigh that are tied in place. It comes in Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya sizing.

Hiya everyone! Tonight I have more SL16B gifts to show off, this time from the Halcyon sim which is one of their 5 shopping sims at the event. If you have been reading here, you've already seen gifts found on the other shopping sims so this is a finale of fashion with a kiss of color on my lips. Intrigued? Then let's go shopping!
My first look this evening combines two gifts found on the same SL16B sim that work well together but will also pair beautifully with plenty of your wardrobe staples. The top is the Magaly Halter Top Fatpack from Addams, which comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and Legacy sizes. It also includes 3 texture HUDs: Common with 30 solid colors, Patterns with 16 choices, and Splash with 12 options (seen on the right) and all with matching colors for the ties. The skirt is the gift from Caboodle, their Camille Skirt & Tied Sweater. Both the skirt and tied sweater are included in Hourglass and Maitreya sizes, in Teal and Floral, so you can mix or match the separate pieces. As you can see, I even wore the skirt without the sweater on the left.
Another duo of gifts here, starting with the [Canimal] Paradise Pink Camo. This halter style romper comes in a Maitreya size and has a lace-trimmed neckline balancing the sporty edging of the shorts and pockets. Also, be sure to grab both gifts from Earthstones so you will have both their Ferris Necklace - June - Moonstone/Pearl and the matching Earrings. The jewelry has a menu when you click each piece, with metal choices of gold or silver and a resize script among other functions. I am a huge fan of moonstone so this set tickles my fancy :)
If you were born to sparkle (spoiler alert: we all were!) then this gift from MIWAS is for you! It honors Pride month with its top and matching skirt, each in a single mesh size that fit my Maitreya body perfectly. The silvery fabric (might be materials enabled) has accents of rainbows, soooo pretty!
The SL16B gift from Bella Moda is an entire fatpack of outfits called Vivace Racy Outfit. There are black, dark blue, grey, light blue, medium blue, and silver versions that each consist of the top and shorts each in standard mesh sizes plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique versions, with matching tiptoe sneakers in Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink high sizing. There is also a HUD in each for the shirt, 10 colors to tint to your preference.
For my last look of the evening, I am focused on my kissable looking lips, thanks to the gift from alaskametro<3 called "Bubblegum" Lip Gloss. Just add the HUD and you can apply one of 6 shades in 3 different fits (the B works well for Genus) or click a button to receive system layers for classic avatars. Someday hopefully soon, Linden Labs will be ready to release "bakes on mesh" to the grid and we can use those system layers right on top of mesh body parts, but Omega and various appliers will still work just fine. I do appreciate that Alaskametro provides both options as a standard for their wonderful products.
Wow, it was a hot day out there today! Then we had thunderstorms in the evening, but that didn't stop the local folks from setting off fireworks because they are irrational that way. Sometimes we hear them multiple weekends in a row for no reason, and it worries me when I've read about PTSD sufferers who are triggered by sudden loud sounds like that. Hiya everyone! Tonight we have some exploring to do, at a 5-sim shopping extravaganza called Shop & Hop. There are 100 designers taking part, and all are offering deep discounts on special selections from their stores as well as a free gift for all visitors. No group is required, just buy for $0L and you can claim all these generous treats. All of the looks tonight are from the Golden sim, just one of the five that are part of this fun event.
My first look is the whimsical gift from Bella Moda called Costume della Renna Reindeer Outfit. It starts with the dress, in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and classic Small, Medium, and Large. Then we get to accessorize, with a choker and matching bracelets, antlers, blinking red nose, and a fuzzy Bento-animated tail with a HUD to turn the movement off and on. The matching boots are even provided, in Belleza, Maitreya, Slink, and resize versions to suit any feet. All this for free, it is truly a thoughtful gift.
Our gift from Evani is their Emma pullover and jeans, which each come in sizes for Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique. There is even a HUD included with various texture choices for the ribbons in the back, 9 velvet and 9 taffeta. This is a great look for when you want to feel relaxed but chic, and either piece can be paired with other wardrobe items if you're feeling creative.
I left the Evani jeans gift on to show you this super fun gift from Caboodle, their Bunny Hoodie - Holo. It includes the shiny shirt in sizes for Maitreya and Hourglass, with the same sized additions for the ears. This way you can decide if you're in the mood to wear it with or without the hood and dangling ears. The shimmery texture means you can dress it up or down, and wear it with just about anything that your imagination can come up with.
I am definitely in the mood for relaxing this weekend, so the gift from OSMIA called Night Party T-shirt & Panties is a perfect choice for me. There are pink and blue versions of both the shirt and panties, with the shirt having a polka dot variety as well as the solid. All are in Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya sizes, and I love the paw prints on each top! The panties have a paw print on the rear as well, and read "yes, daddy" on the front beneath a teeny tiny bow. I felt like mixing up the colors, but you can certainly choose to go all pink or all blue. I'm ready to snuggle with an SL furry friend!
Some of the designers were moved by the seasonal spirit to put out more than one gift, as was the case with {le fil casse}. They have their Boardwalk Summer Dress as seen on the left as one of their gifts for us, in sizes for Maitreya and Hourglass, with a flirty short hem and wide V neck that will frame your favorite necklace beautifully. On the right I am enjoying their Hampton Tarte Romper, in a Maitreya size with 3 color combos: blue-blue, blue-white (shown), and blue-black. The boy leg style and large flower on the attached belt make this feel delightfully retro, like I should be lounging at an exclusive resort while listening to swing music and sipping a mint julep. Why yes, my imagination did run away with me there for a second...
Whew, what a day! I had to follow up with the eye doctor about my vitreous detachment, and this was the 3rd of the three docs at this particular practice that I've been examined by now, simply by virtue of timing and vacations. So she was my least favorite of the trio, and I don't feel like she did nearly as thorough of a job checking my eye as the other two, but I don't need to go back for a few months now so it must be progressing well enough. My pupil is still dilated (almost 12 hours later) and it's hard to see clearly, so please excuse any typos. I'm not certain if I will be able to blog tomorrow or not, thanks to a continuing busy schedule, but we'll see what happens. This one almost didn't happen because of a prolonged visit with my parents, and I feel like I'm running on empty. Hiya everyone! Tonight we have more gifts from the SL 15th Birthday shopping event, which is spread over 4 entire sims with an impressive variety of designers taking part. They are offering discounted selections of their favorite merchandise, and most have a gift for everyone (no group needed) to help us all celebrate SL15B. Tonight's gifts can all be found on the Gilded sim, and they all may still be hard to get in so please be patient if the sim you want to teleport to is full. Clearly the event is well worth any wait :)
For my first look, we have not just one but two gifts from Envious. On the left is their Red Heart Dress, which is included in standard mesh sizes plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, and TMP. The outfit on the right is their SLB15 tank top and panties, each in standard sizes along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP. It makes a fun souvenir since the elastic band of the panties says SLB15 on it.
Next we have the gift from Silvan Moon Designs, their SMD Well of Souls Gown Set. It starts with the dress and belt, each in XS, S, M, Maitreya, and Slink sizes, and the accessories continue with the collar which is unrigged so you can adjust if needed. The fingerless gloves come in 5 standard mesh sizes plus Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink sizes, and there are flexi cape sections for each arm, upper and lower. All these pieces mean you can wear as many or as few as you wish, to make the look your own.
The gift from Bella Moda will have you looking beautiful from head to toe. It is their Distinzione Crimson Cocktail Outfit, and the sassy sequined dress comes in standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique versions. The matching platform sandals are in sizes for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink High, and the gift even includes a matching set of jewelry: necklace, earrings, and rings for each hand. Be sure to unpack the jewelry from inside the main folder from opening the gift itself, so you can coordinate your accessorizing.
JellyRoll has a duo of delightful dresses as their gifts for us, the Slip Dress Black Omega and System on the left and the White version on the right. Each includes (just as the name says) system layers and an Omega applier for the top and pants, plus standard mesh sizes of the skirt panel. The top has great details such as the tiny bows and stitched boning, and the mesh panels are a huge improvement over the days of little prim flaps that had to be adjusted manually and never looked quite right when we moved our legs at all. I think I was inspired to mention that by the fact that we are celebrating 15 years of progress and growth in Second Life :)
The final treat I'd like to share tonight is from {ZOZ} and will decorate your nails with sweet flowers. This gift is called Daisy Trio II Polish, and offers 9 varieties on appliers for Maitreya, Omega, Slink, and Vista Bento. The line of daisies acts as a divider between two colors on each nail, some subtly different and some bold transitions, but all with a bit of shimmery ombre texture.

Hiya everyone! With a new month comes new rounds of gridwide hunts, and tonight I'd like to share some prizes from The Loving Kind Hunt 2. It is a free gridwide hunt running for the entire month of February, and there are hearts to look for in 3 colors to indicate if the prizes are female (red), male (blue), or unisex (yellow) which could be neutral or containing a male and female version in one prize. The hints and SLurls are on their blog, rather than in each prize folder, as a matter of fact the hunt objects distribute a loose object rather than a folder so you do need that link to follow along :)
This first look features the long and short versions of one of two prizes from Bella Moda, their Abito Organza Red Gowns. Each length comes in 5 standard sizes plus fitted versions for classic, Maitreya, and Slink, and there are breast physics included that will work with the fitted sizes. The coloring and the texture are delightful, and I greatly appreciate the versatility of being able to choose between two lengths.
Find the other red heart at Bella Moda and you will be able to claim this sexy Prestigio Crimson Gown and Shoes Outfit for free too. The gown is provided in standard sizes along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP versions. The matching shoes have sizes for Slink, Maitreya, and Belleza. Like their first gift, this also includes breast physics in case you feel like jiggling a bit ;) I usually wear the ones included with the Slink Physique body and noticed that they are most compatible with fitmesh rather than rigged, the difference between moving with your clothing or moving through it.
Don't teleport away from the sim with Bella Moda just yet, since the next store Zed is right there and you can find this terrific female gift along with 2 for the guys. This is the Zed Leather & Stud Dress v2, and the shoulder straps/harness are a separate piece from the dress so you can wear it with or without. One last look for the evening, this is our prize from Sparrow by Design for the ladies (don't worry gents, there is a heart there for you as well) called I Love You With Flowers Dress. I am a fan of flowers, and this soft watercolor look is just right when you want something romantic but not overwhelming.
Thursdays are my last relaxing days before the chaos of the weekend begins, and this one will have an extra busy Saturday for which I am quite grateful actually since it will be especially fun :) *fingers crossed* My plans a few weeks ago that were thwarted by snow have been rescheduled, and I am ready to burst with excitement! Tonight I am sharing some prizes from The Advent Chase Hunt, a free gridwide (and marketplace) hunt where you will be looking for candles in either pink, blue, or pale yellow depending on if the gift is male, female, or unisex. My first look tonight really made me smile because I immediately recognized one of Hello Kitty's friends, who is named Chococat. He's snuggled on my sweater, which is from the candle at Tiffany Designs and called TD Moni Mesh Sweater in Green. Inside you will find the sweater in plenty of fitmesh sizes including Belleza, Maitreya, Hourglass, Slink, and TMP Large and TMP Small. Also included, the cute black pants in a system layer plus appliers for TMP, Maitreya, Omega, Slink, and Belleza. The tree behind me is part of my furnished rental skybox's options for the holidays, how cool is it to be able to use a HUD to change your furniture? :)
Perhaps you'd like something dressier, be sure to head to Bella Moda where there are 2 hidden candles for the ladies (and don't forget to visit their neighboring store Zed for 2 male and 2 female prizes) and you will be as delighted as I was to find this gorgeous gown and matching shoes inside one of the candles. This is Abito Fluente Teal Flowing Gown & Shoes, and the gown is included in standard mesh sizes plus Hourglass, Physique, Maitreya, and one called Classic which may be a fitmesh for the classic avatar. The shoes have a Slink size and a resize version pair, so you can adjust them to whatever mesh feet you prefer.

One last festive look for the evening, this is our stunning gift from Sweet E's when you find that pretty pink candle. This is called Red Candy Cane Kate Gown and comes in a fitmesh size along with Maitreya, Slink, and Slink Hourglass sizes. It is such a flattering shape, and candy canes have never look so sophisticated as they do scattered across this beautiful bodice.

Hiya everyone! I stumbled across a sim hunt at Blacklace called the Dog Days of Summer Hunt, and am pleased to say that it was quite fun with several excellent prizes to be found. You are searching for free seashells, and the participating stores each have a sign outside with a sample of the shell they've chosen along with a hint (just click the sign for a notecard) to assist you in locating it. I went clockwise, I'd suggest just pick a direction and follow your way around to explore the stores in this lovely outdoor shopping center.
This first stunning look is our prize from Bella Moda, who are offering their Laguna Lilac Halter Neck Dress inside their seashell. This terrifically textured dress is provided in 8 mesh sizes, including Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink. I think this would look amazing in a nightclub right on the beach somewhere.
I do love when a gift offers options, so the AZUL prize hidden in their seashell is perfect for that. On the left you can see the mesh dress (included in standard sizes) as is, no bells and whistles...on the right I have added the enclosed flower, prim skirt, and 2 sleeve ruffles per arm. Depending on where you are wearing this floaty creation, you may wish to omit the flower, or wear the sleeves without the full skirt, or any combination that suits your fancy :) I would probably just wear the base dress and flower for some occasions, the whole shebang for others.
Two prizes at once here, and I am definitely enjoying them both. The outfit is courtesy of Dragonmoon Designs and consists of the Summer Sport Skirt and Summer Tie Crop Top each in many fitmesh sizes including Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink. As for my sexy shoes, those are our prize from The Lounge and are called The Divine Ms M. in Periwinkle. These come in Slink High and Lara versions, with a HUD that provides texture/color choices for the main shoe, heel, and piping (2 each) as well as 6 sole colors and 5 for the tap. That is a great deal of versatility from this stunning free gift.
Another beautiful way to enjoy the dog days of summer is in this Syrena Dress from ~EccentriciXi~ in their hidden shell. The dress is included in plenty of fitmesh sizes for standard, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink so we can all enjoy the tropical print, as a matter of fact there is even a matching shirt included for the guys.
One last look for the evening, I had some fun with the prize from ~Blacklace~ which is this alluring Symphany: Black Satin and Pink Lace Set. Whew, what a day! My foot is still a problem and it seems the joint itself is irritated (that foreign body the other doctor dug out must have been a fluke) so I am back to achy square one.
