Cupid's Curse Event

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'm bringing you to the Cupid's Curse Event from Difony Events, and if you're familiar with them then you'll already have an idea of what to expect. They bring a Gothic flavor and a non-traditional twist to this holiday season, which is terrific because there used to be some anti-Valentine hunts but I didn't find any this year. Visit the event and you will find free gifts (no group needed) hanging on lantern posts next to nearly every booth, in anatomically correct hearts rather than ♥ this shape ;) That is why I don't mind sharing this after the official holiday, as the gifts aren't themed quite the same as many events or hunts this time of year. It's open until early March, so there is plenty of time to pick up demos and return to enjoy some shopping.

My first look is the [Witch In A Box] Mystic Connection Outfit, which is a versatile and flirty gift. The top and skirt are separates that fit Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies, and we also receive a HUD that offers 3 colors for each piece. Since they are all neutrals, mixing and matching is simple and fun :) The crescent moon on the back of the skirt appears on the front of both top and skirt, but with the added branches that bring the upcoming spring to mind. Right now it feels like it'll take ages to reach us, lol, but I trust that it will be here soon enough.

I adore the ~Sassy!~ brand and style, so their gift called Rowan dress - swirls was an immediate favorite. It has a playful halter neckline with two front straps linked by triple chains draped where you might normally see a necklace, and there are more chains in the back and at the side notches of the skirt. In sizes for Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, and Reborn mesh bodies, this dress also has a HUD with 6 dress colors and 5 metals for those chains. So pretty!

On the sexy side of the gifts, we have the [C.YFashion]*HEART*GIFT Valentine seen above. The heart-shaped pasties with tassels (and an extra tassel down below!) comprise the mesh bra, which comes in sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh bodies, while the panties are a BOM layer that will work with all those bodies and more. The texturing is fantastic, with a satiny sheen, straps both front and rear, and gold heart loops. They are about to come in handy again too...

*MARTINES*LOVER1 is a thoughtful free gift with red quilted patterning and gold trim that go together beautifully. This open jacket or coat will be delightful to layer over your favorite BOM clothing like tops, pants, or leggings, and I'm already planning to wear it with a pair of jeans and a tank top. Our gift includes Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Petite X, Prima, Reborn, and Star mesh bodies.

I'm still wearing those panties in my final look (more obvious from behind), the flirtatious -MicRo- Outfit Black Gift. The cropped short sleeve top has fishnet insets that make it slightly revealing, and the skirt has an itty bitty hem that explains why I'm still wearing those panties ;) It was either that or modesty flowers. Each piece comes in sizes for Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh bodies.

It was a decent weekend here, and I am really glad I finally got to go back to the farmers market :) It was either 5 or 6 weeks in a row they were closed because of the weather, I lost track I guess, but it's extra stupid when they used to be an indoor market which would have solved a lot of that. I was so happy to see everyone again, and it seemed to be mutual, plus I picked up some treats I hadn't had in all that time. I did come up with an alternative to Music Choice since I couldn't get their app to work on my tv...it hit me that the housemate has satellite radio for the car and they in fact do have an app for Roku tv :) Tomorrow evening is a support group meeting (anxiety/agoraphobia) and I have no idea what I'll be blogging after that, LOL, but I am sure I will find something. Hints & Hunts Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is a look at several group gifts for the Hints & Hunts group, for their XOXO hunt which runs until the 20th of February. The hunt prizes are $10L - $25L and hiding in gold hearts with pink bows around them, while the group gifts I'm sharing are found in white square boxes with hot pink ribbons atop them. These are free and the group is also free to join :) You'll find links and pictures of the gifts and hunt keys on the website. They aren't all strictly Valentine themed, but many are at least a nod to this time of year. I know some people despise the holiday, others can't get enough of it, and then there's me in the middle who leans towards liking but not obsessed with it. I'm also a "whatever floats your boat" kind of person, so I respect all opinions on the subject and try to advise you what to expect anywhere I bring you this time of year. All I want is for people to be kind to each other no matter what the calendar says :)

We start out looking sexy in our .::DS::. XoXo 2026 Hunt Gift from Dark Salvation. This group goodie consists of the flirty dress and matching shoes in sizes for Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The rear view is what I affectionately call peek-a-booty, meaning you'll see plenty of bum cleavage, and the dress itself is on the sheer side so your valentine or random hot date will certainly want to keep you close :)

As I often try to do, I paired two gifts here for one sassy look. The YUEBIN - XOXO Hunt GIFT is a playful top named Betula, and comes in male and female avatar body sizing - Belleza Jake, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy F, Legacy M, Perky, Reborn, V-Tech, and Waifu. It is cropped and has straps hanging down the front as well as pink ones on the sleeves. Wouldn't this be great to show off a back tattoo? It looks cute with our Metallic Jeans by LAP (Blue&Pink) group gift, baggy cuffed jeans with a low rise and a built in belt and lots of studs on the left front leg. There are original and PBR versions each in Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh body sizes. Both of these separates will look amazing with loads of items already in your inventory, I'm sure, so make fashion fun and make it yours by wearing them however suits you. 

I also grabbed the Nut & Squirrel Kathy group gift, which is a starry swimsuit and fluttery skirt to layer atop it :) These are each provided in sizing for Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. To make it even more special, we've got HUDs to customize things...the suit and skirt HUD each offer 20 solid colors and 20 patterns, then the metals HUD has 3 tones for the hoop in the front of the skirt's waistband. Once you get to a mature rated beach, you can slide out of the skirt and soak up the sun in your strappy swimsuit.

Next we see the sporty -MicRo- Hunt Gift. It immediately caught my eye as being terrific for any time of year and not overly girlie or cutesy. My first thought was something fun to explore anywhere in SL with friends or a romantic partner, as you could even hike a mountain trail if you add some boots or sneakers :) The tank top and shorts will each fit Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Juicy mesh bodies. 

My final look should remind you that I love well polished nails, and I'm always eager to show off my newest SL finds with all of you :) The CHOU Touch of RainBow group gift does not seem to be the one pictured on their website, but I adore this set and am not the least disappointed by that. There are two versions enclosed, touch of rainbow and BOuns Of touch, with the second one being the one in the center/lower part of my image above. They are animated so they knocked my socks off! Both sets of mesh nails are provided in Belleza Old, Belleza Classic, Belleza Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, and Reborn mesh body sizes. I was always that kid who loved rainbows in any form, so they'd have a special place in my heart even without the Pride association adding an extra smile. 

Quick hair note: this weekend's Saturday Sale offering from Truth Hair is a collab with Truth's RL daughter, which makes me very happy to see that his talent is shared by the next generation. Also to be fair it is simply a fantastic style that I would have bought no matter who he'd designed it with! There are hair clips included but not shown that have hearts with different sayings for each color you choose from the HUD, very Valentine candy themed and a great nod to the holiday.

The weekend felt both fast and slow at the same time, always mysterious when that happens but I will say it was an enjoyable one here :) Houseguest, birthday celebration, wonderful company and I stayed indoors most of the weekend to avoid the bitter cold. Even my therapy session this evening went well, and finished over an hour before The Big Game started ;) That is not my sport of choice, so I was only interested in the commercials and the halftime show, and Puppy Bowl of course ♥. My guest is on their way home right now, so there's that little pang of missing them already, but it is never a goodbye but see you later. I'm watching figure skating right now while I type this, but it's tricky to focus on both and I've got other things to do so the skating will get paused (tivo) shortly. Enchanted with Fame

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post took a turn midway through, as I got distracted by some fantastic gifts at one of the hunt stops from the Enchanted: Frostbitten hunt. Its full name is Enchanted Presents Frostbitten: A Tale From the Graveyard, so it has a bit of a spooky feeling (leftover from last month's holiday?) with the encroaching cold weather creeping over us like a chilly fog. That's my own take on it anyway :) The prizes are free, and hiding inside gravestones that are engraved with the hunt name, months, and "Here Lies a Very Special GIFT". A few stores have more than one stone waiting, and the website will let you know that as well as giving you the landmarks and hints. Our prize folders do contain the next landmark as well though, so it is not as urgent to have the site on hand when hunting. I always do in case the hint giver at the store isn't working or I wind up having to skip a stop. As for the twist in the post, you'll see that one of the stores had several irresistible gifts that stopped me in my (hunt) tracks.

Would you believe that my first look is comprised of 4 different prizes from the same stop? There's even a fifth one not shown, so you've got a handful of gravestones to track down here :) The - MicRo - Outfit Mystical Dawn Hunt consists of the top, skirt, gloves, and horns you see here. The clothing all fits Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies, with the gloves gift having separate fur for the upper arms that is therefore optional. The horns are adjustable and look just stunning draped in blue beads and gems. The other treat is a long blonde ponytail hairstyle that curls down past the waist. Be sure to follow all your hints and find all five goodies!

[FAME] is the place to find our next prizes, a Dress, Bolero, and Belt that combine to create this lovely look. These tombstones each hold Legacy, Lara X, and Reborn sizes of their respective pieces, which can be worn all together as I am above or individually if you prefer. The dress is strapless without the bolero, and it looks just as pretty without the belt, although I'm a huge fan of the way the little pompoms pull the look together :) This is why that famous ice cream parlor touts having 31 flavors; we all have different tastes and that's a good thing. 

I'm always scouting any store I visit for gifts, so imagine my delight upon seeing the free gifts with no group tag needed! This [FAME] Bodysuit - Umi is a beauty in blue, with sassy crossed straps both front and back. There are Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh body sizes included. The various shades of blue are making me think of the sky throughout the day, but there is a subtle spotted pattern on the front of the top portion too. 

If you're headed somewhere warm or with a pool, I'd like to suggest the [FAME] Outfit - Summer which can be yours for free too. Just buy for $0L, no group to worry about :) Our top, thong, and skirt are all ready to wear on Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn bodies, and the sheer fabric of the top and skirt have golden glitter decorating them. Because of the translucency and the thong, I would recommend checking on the dress code before you visit a public place :) I'll be wearing it in my skybox hot tub which is quite private.

For my final look this evening, I've slipped into the playful [FAME] BodySuit - Aneli which is a free subscriber gift. When I clicked the sign, it turns out I wasn't already subscribed (oopsie) so it gave me the option to do so. Once I did and got the confirmation in local chat, I clicked it again and received this cutie :) It includes sizes for Lara X, Legacy, Prima Busty, and Reborn mesh bodies, and has a fun split style with the left half of the front and back bearing dots that remind me of dalmatians, and the right is solid pink with paw prints up top and a happy kitty on the bottom. The black ruffles are a terrific little touch too, accentuating the neckline and the hips.

I really enjoyed my evening, and chatting with friends is always a pleasant way to pass the time :) Playing a cozy game together is a treat too, just relaxing and talking about whatever comes to mind while enjoying the cuteness of Hello Kitty and pals. Hurry to MicRo

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're visiting - MicRo -, where the group is currently (temporarily) free to join and we've got several gifts for that group to enjoy. They have 2 Halloween ones that I'm starting off with, quite late in the season but still technically before the holiday itself ;) They did not indicate how long the temporary free join period will be, so for that reason I am recommending that you stop by as soon as possible. I always feel guilty when I find out about something late, or without knowing the ending date, because I want to give you all enough time to get there, even if you don't have time to visit my blog every day. MicRo Group Goodies

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have some group gifts to share, from the free group for the store -MicRo-. If that sounds familiar, they are at the same landing spot as Cherry whose group gifts I showed you recently. I was excited to return to the little shopping area and check out their neighbor store :) There are several gifts that we can pick up, and many are separates to wear with whatever suits your taste or personality best. I combined them with each other for ease of blogging, which made for some fun looks. 

The most recent group gift is the -MicRo- Dress Sofa Gift March, a trio of dresses in the same style. On the left I am wearing Pink Green, while Bej Red (beige?) is seen on the right. The one not shown tonight is purple, and just as pretty as these. All are provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Legacy Perky, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes. 

Next I combined two gifts, starting with the -MicRo- Gift December halter top. It is cropped short and comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies. There is also a HUD included with 7 colors to choose from, although they are swirls of all the same color on the HUD so you won't know what hue you are applying until you click it :) As for the playful shorts, they are the -MicRo- Shorts Polle-Orange Green Gift and equally daring. For my final look of the evening, you might say I went bananas? The print is bananas and leaves on a sunny yellow background, and the shorts have a bright white bow in the front as they are tied in place. That halter top appeared in 4 of my 5 photos, really proving its versatility!

The hockey game I watched tonight was very exciting, so I am in a great mood from it :) It started rough, but we came back by showing why we should never give up when there is still time to turn things around. It is a bit chilly here still, but the weather should start feeling more like spring soon which also boosts my mood.
