Hiya everyone! Tonight we are heading back to DAZZLE and their 3rd anniversary round, whose theme is "Fashion Is a Style of Dance". There are exclusive selections at each display, carefully chosen and crafted to fit the theme, and because of the anniversary there are gifts for between $0L - $10L from many designers. The themes are always fascinating, and the region is consistently decorated to perfection, so visiting is a visual treat along with the shopping opportunities :) Each round is open until the 25th of the month, so you have plenty of time to enjoy.
My first look this evening is the exclusive offer from Kalani's Designs, their beautiful Julia FitMesh Dress Red. It comes in standard mesh sizes plus versions for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. I love the single strap style, it's like a flirty toga, and the $170L price tag is very affordable. I am also wearing another DAZZLE exclusive tonight, my hair from Alli&Ali. It is their A&A Amandine Hair Blonde Colors, and the hair comes with a 24-color HUD that also offers the ability to resize the hair and turn the brightness off or on. The style is loosely pulled back off the face, with a cascade of pretty flexi curls that really move when you do.
Kalani's Designs also has a free anniversary gift for us, called KDS Emmaline FitMesh Mini Black. This treat includes 5 standard sizes, 5 fitmesh sizes, plus versions for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink mesh bodies. The fringe is a lively addition that complements the woven texture quite well.
This playful dress is the free gift from NILSY, their Dot Dress, with its ruffle down the front and lacing in the back. Hiya everyone! Tonight I am excited to share more gifts with you from The Free Dove, for which you will just need the Free Dove group tag active. There are gifts for guys and gals, formal and casual, not to mention things like skin, hair, eyes, and shapes. I always suggest sharing this landmark with new residents to help them become acquainted with stores in SL and what all is available for our avatars. However, I am approaching 12 years in SL and still appreciate visiting and am grateful for the generous gifts.
My first look is the Free Dove gift from GLITTER, their ROSES Fitmesh Tank Dress Yellow. It comes in eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizing, with a longer hem in the back that reminds me of a shirt tail. The floral pattern is classically beautiful, isn't it?
Kaithleen's has a very generous gift of 4 dresses in their box at Free Dove, so I am showing you two at a time. The dress on the left is their Bianca Dress in Aqua, with Yellow on the right. Each includes a sheer version (the left is sheer, if you look closely you can see the outline if my legs through the skirt) and solid, sized for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique. Each also includes a HUD with 4 color choices for the braided belt.
Our other two gifts from Kaithleen's are versions of their Lace Mini Dress, Blue on the left and Pink on the right. I have more prizes to share from the Twisted Hunt, which ends on the 19th so it's wrapping up in less than a week...time to get moving if you want to take part :) It is certainly challenging, but really well worth it, especially when you can find great goodies like the ones I'm showing below.
Let's start with this playful lingerie by ~KRAKT~ who are #068 in the hunt. It includes system layers for top and beneath the skirt along with an Omega applier, and of course the skirt itself with its delightful bows. The womens outfit is called Yin, and the mens is called Yang, appropriately enough. I accessorized with the gorgeous Duality Pendant from TempT. If you love it as I do, head on over to #078 and find that cube!
You have seen me blog Rowena's Designs before (slight name change from Rowena Springflower) and know that I appreciate both the designs and the frequent use of HUDs to let us chance colors/textures, allowing for that versatility I admire so. Well this is their prize (#087) for the Twisted hunt, {RS} Qi Dress, and the HUD has 5 color options for the trim/decor. I showed 3 of the 5, the others being yellow and red, and I thought the dark grey on the right was particularly worth a look because it's so subtle. The style and shape are lovely.
If you head next door to the adjoining store Precious Designs, who are #088, you can find this sweet flared mini dress with its 7-textured HUD. Now you'll notice from the back view that the alpha layer is a bit wonky, so my suggestion is to go without it and choose one of the fitmesh sizes (it does come with standard sizes in each fitted and regular mesh) and be sure to wear undies ;) If you have a similar style dress in your inventory, you might have an alpha that will work out, but this dress is too lovely to dismiss in my book.
If you love mesh but still enjoy the delicate fluttering of flexi, this dress from {MOEKO} offers both. Their sweet Afterlife gown has standard mesh sizes, plus the delicate flexi lace layer shown on the right, so you can decide which way of wearing it suits your mood. There is something ethereal about it, so it fits the season.

Hiya everyone! The weekend is finally here, it's a warm cozy Friday night, and I'm excited about it, hope you all are too. Wide variety of goodies to share tonight, so let's get started...
I'm starting off with a free gift from the amazing FabFree Headquarters, truly an essential destination for any bargain hunter. This particular gift is one of their newer additions, from Libbytulips Sparkle Fashion, and you need to see it in person to appreciate that it truly sparkles! That texture on the mesh is animated, so this already striking dress is utterly eye-catching when people see that motion! For free, you really don't want to miss this one :)
If you're looking for some almost painless retail therapy this weekend, I'd like to point you towards one of the many dollarbie hunts going on this month, in particular the Light Side vs. Dark Side Hunt. Generally that refers to Star Wars and the force, so many of the prizes are themed as such, but not all. This one however is obviously in that theme :) This is one of several prizes in the cookie at Kelli Kreations (cookie as in 'come to the dark side, we have cookies' as the meme goes) for a single little linden. You will get this nightshirt (with built-in panties) for the ladies in light and dark side versions (this is the light side, the dark has Vader images and a quote) and matching mens shirts, all with HUDs, and a trio of Star Wars wall hangings, all for the same $1L!! So generous!! Side note, I am nerdy enough to be grateful that she spelled Wookiees with the correct double E instead of how most people just spell it wookie. I've read some of the books and have seen it in print enough that it stuck, I suspect that's why the common misconception, but I am blushing now :) Nerd alert!!
This lovely dress is one of the two included in the Light Side vs Dark Side cookie at {MOEKO} and is, as you can probably guess, the light side gift :) Delicate and lacy, this is a real treat for only $1L. My nails are one of the manicures from one of the Nail It Good! cookies, now there are 2 there so you'll spend a whole $2L there instead, hehe, still SO worth it!! That store is a team effort of two designers and they each put out a separate prize. Their other prize can almost be glimpsed in the previous photo, the white nails with black tips (which also come with red tips or blue tips, to mimic several droids) and that HUD is called Star Wars. This one here is called LSVDSH and features angels and light beings.
This is the other beauty from {MOEKO} and is part of that same $1L prize in that single cookie there, I feel like I should credit it as half a linden ;) As you can see, their dark side contribution is just as beautiful, with the sexy corset and flowing long skirt, bell sleeves and how about that stunning purple contrasting against the black and white? Love!!! Skulls aren't normally my thing, but this is too fantastic not to wear!
So let's see, for what I've shown you I only spent $4L total and visited 4 places, not too bad for all the delightful treasures I wound up with :) The cookies aren't terribly hard to find, some hunts can be downright brutal even with hints provided. I highly recommend looking at the hunt blog for the photos they've provided to see if you want to pick up any of the other goodies, especially useful with hunts that aren't completely free.
