Hiya everyone! Tonight I was unsure what to post as we are getting closer and closer to a very busy holiday. Thanksgiving is considered the biggest travel day of the year in the USA, but I am more affected by preparation and helping than travel. So I thought about great places to visit where you can find many bargains or free gifts in one stop, and Free Dove came to mind. I know I usually cover their monthly hunts, but what about the gifts that are there long term for all visitors and do not even involve a hunt? You can see where this is going :) I visited not as a hunter but as a gift seeker, and I was absolutely not disappointed.
My first look is a remarkably generous gift from Rebel Hope, which includes this stunning gown in 11 terrific colors. On the left you can see the Malibu Mesh Maxi Dress in Carnation, and on the right in Blue Bell. Each color comes in standard mesh sizes with matching alpha layer, there is a beautiful range of hues included in this free gift.
This frilly mini dress caught my eye because it has autumn colors but a more summery style so it suits any weather. This gift is from Lillou's Designs and is called [LD] Candice - Dove, and includes 3 sizes (XXS/XS/S, M, L/XL) with the coordinating alpha layer. The style is a fun and flattering one.
Maybe you need something a bit more casual but very pulled together, so you can shop or explore the grid in style. Pick up this fantastic gift from Hilly Haalan and you will find their Coco outfit, comprised of the sweater and leggings each in standard mesh sizes, plus the boots for default avatar feet (resize scripts built in) and matching shoulder bag, and even the classic sunglasses. I really like the clean look of the white, grey, and burgundy together.
Tiffany Designs is offering this sleek dress called TD Hilary 2 Mesh Dress in Black as a Free Dove gift, and it is a textural delight with the subtle floral pattern on half. The dress is included in what I call the lucky 13 of sizes, 5 standard and 5 fitmesh along with Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions. This would be an ideal choice for a holiday gathering, but why wait? :)
Speaking of choices for holidays, there is a table set up at Free Dove with some special Thanksgiving gifts to help you find something special to wear or just the right accessories. There are two gifts from D~Vine Style on the table, the delightful nails I am wearing here, which each offer 12 holiday designs on HUDs for Maitreya, Omega, and Omega Extend. On the left you can see their Set 01 with the lighter colored background, on the right is Set 01b with the dark brown background. I really enjoy the variety of designs offered on their HUDs.
I have a hair note tonight, Truth Hair has sent a bonus VIP gift through their group ($265L to join for a bit longer, then the fee goes up higher) to thank all of us for joining. The exclusive gift is called Sugar and is a lush updo with plenty of extras such as the bangs and long wisps shown, and short wisps that look like a few tiny tendrils escaping. All the color HUDs are included so it is a generous fat pack. Normally there will be one VIP gift a month, and as a longtime fan I am really excited to be in the group.
Today was a productive day, my chiropractor even adjusted my mouse hand and wrists and elbows to help relieve the soreness that I deal with from being online so much. It really feels better, I'll have to remember to ask for that every time I see him! Tomorrow will be almost as busy as Thursday for me, with an out of town guest arriving and more prep work to do, but I will try to at least pop in with a quick look and a holiday wish. Hiya everyone! The weather here may indicate that summer is slipping away, but we can hold onto it by visiting the Wash Cart Sale during their current round with its Indian Summer theme. Most of the items are just $10L each, while each designer can offer a special $50L item as well. There are so many terrific bargains there, as usual, it is always worth visiting. My title can also apply to the hunt I have been enjoying, the Renaissance VI Hunt, as there is something very elegant about the fashions and decor from the Renaissance period and I appreciate that so many places in SL are keeping those things alive. This round's theme is the myths and legends of the Renaissance, which are plentiful and thought-provoking.
First up, this fantastic find from the cart sale is from Dark Water Designs, and is their $50L item. This is their Indian Summer Boho Set, in which you will find the maxi skirt and belt each in standard mesh sizes, along with the peasant blouse in 8 fitmesh sizes (including Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink) plus a HUD to choose between the two colors I have shown above. I love the style and the colors, and it really suits the cart sale theme quite well. Here you can see two of the several selections available at the Eluzion cart, both of which made me smile at first sight. The dress on the left is their Davinna CRAZY Dress, which as soon as I wear around my partner Xan will cause him to chuckle and agree. On the right is the Shamira Skull PINK Dress, and the skull pattern is surprisingly subtle until you look closely which I found to be a fun touch. These are both really flattering styles, and each is provided in 8 fitmesh sizes including Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink so you can get a great fit. On the Renaissance hunt trail, I stopped at Miss Darcy (#024) and found this charming Once Upon a Time - Harvest Time fitmesh dress as our prize. It includes small, medium, and large sizes and has a classic design with lovely autumn colors. I added another hunt prize from #025 Buccaneer's Restorations, which actually includes the beautiful Isthmian Poseidon Cameo in 4 versions: Lady's Necklace (shown), Lady's Carcanet which is a shorter version of the necklace, Hero's Chain, and a Brooch which can be adjusted anywhere since there is no chain attached. There is a fascinating notecard included with information behind the cameo itself and some other history from that era.
One last look for the evening is another hunt prize, this time from #027 Lillou's Designs. This is their [LD] Marquise in Green, and includes the top and glitch pants in system layers and an Omega applier, the floaty flexi skirt and sleeves, and matching hat which all have resize scripts for convenience. The soft color really caught my eye as well, like a pretty seafoam shade.
Tonight is the first evening I have been able to have a window open instead of relying on the air conditioner to cool things, and I must say that fresh air feels glorious!! Next week here will have some highs in the upper 80s but the nights should be more fall-like so I intend to enjoy them to the fullest. Hiya everyone! I am taking a very brief vacation from the Womenstuff Hunt to show you a few delightful gifts I picked up at the St Tropez Market event. This is a great sale in a beautiful location, and several of the designers have free gifts for the visitors. I enjoyed my virtual vacation there, and hope you do too.
Here you can see our gift from JKTrends, their Savage Bikini which includes system layers plus appliers for Belleza, TMP, and Omega. The tiny strips down the middle of the bikini top reminded me of the fun stripes on the prop included in the Joplino gift called Sunny Life, which consists of the pose, a pose ball, and the floatie which you just attach (add/wear) with or without the playful pose.
These eye-catching bikinis are two of the 4 colors included in our generous gift from Ch's, their Lexode'16 gift which is comprised of system layers, a TMP installer, and a HUD for eBody, Maitreya, Belleza, Omega, Slink, and Brazilia Doll. The color choices are in the upper right, I almost didn't see them and could only apply one color at first. The colors not shown are black and white, so a nice wide range there.
In case you need something to wear indoors for a more formal occasion, there is a very pretty gift waiting at the Lillou's Designs display. This is their [LD] Darling dress in standard mesh sizes, with the fan and flexi hip bow as separate attachments so you can decide if your mood says to leave one or both off, or wear them all. I thought this was a lovely opportunity to show you the bracelets that are the free gift from Kitty's Claws, their Charming Beach Bracelets which include a HUD for 4 metal colors each for chain and charms. In the inset I am showing all 4 metal colors actually, silver and gold and rose gold and black.
Another bikini because my brain is still in beach mode :) This is our gift from {Mishchino} called #Hot Gift, and yes we are hashtagged as #hot, #sexy, and #babe on various locations. This is HUDs only, Belleza and Maitreya and Slink to be exact. I also got to enjoy the Fashion Dream Accessories gift Tricolore Popsicles! Summer Jewels, the necklace and earrings you see here. They are very detailed and fun for a hot day or evening. I also am showing you a closer look at the nails I have been wearing in all these photos, another free gift from St Tropez courtesy of TASHI called Bethany. This pretty design is included on HUDs for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink.

I am still working my way through the Womenstuff Hunt, a gridwide hunt with over 150 prizes for either free or $1L (designers' choice) so plenty to enjoy while staying on a tight budget. This is such a fun way to explore new stores or revisit old favorites, while searching for the hidden red t-shirts. There are a few stores with an old hunt prize still out too, so be careful to find the one that matches the hunt from their website. They have a slightly different logo on the shirts but most of them have been shrunk so much that it's hard to see the logo. Most of the current ones say August 2016 in the description (in hovertext) and be mindful of the numbers, too :)
First we have a winning combination from ~EccentriciXi~ called Outfit Bali, which includes the stunning dress in 5 fitmesh sizes plus Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions, along with the sexy Reese heels for Slink high. I am a big fan of this next prize as well, found in the t-shirt at Lilou's Designs. This is their [LD] Maite, an exclusive Womenstuff hunt prize, and is free when you find the t-shirt. This soft beauty is provided in plenty of mesh sizes: 5 classic, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, Slink, and Slink Hourglass, so your unique shape or favorite mesh body should be well covered.
IMaGE Factory has a terrific treat hidden in their free t-shirt, their Flower Romper in standard mesh sizes plus Hourglass and Physique versions. It includes a very useful HUD that features 7 colors in solid or a floral pattern, and 4 color options for the belt. I love the ease of the one piece styling, and texture HUDs are always appreciated.
My final look of the evening is courtesy of Artic Storm, their free prize for the hunt which is this cute casual fitmesh set. The Filly Fitmesh Top comes in standard, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink Sizes, while the Filly Jeans Laced Pocket comes in standard (5) fitmesh sizes. I couldn't resist showing you those pretty lacy pockets on the back of the jeans, and the outfit is a perfect choice for working my way through more of the hunt path.
It was a busy, productive day, and I am short on sleep but feeling pretty good otherwise. 13 hours after leaving the house, all I can smell still is my SPF70 sunscreen! When you're as pale as I am (with a family history of skin cancer), it's important to remember it every time I leave the house, there have been times I have forgotten and wound up lightly toasted.
