COCO Group Goodies

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are checking out some of the plentiful group gifts at COCO, whose group is currently free to join. They have always been very generous, and I'm surprised to realize it's been so long since I'd shares any of these terrific treats here. Please allow me to remedy that :) My link should land you at one low wall display of gifts, then if you look to the east (when facing these gifts it should be directly ahead in another room) you will see the next room has several similar displays with gifts as well. I'm a big fan of their creations and enjoy the range from casual to more dressy looks.

My first look is the charming *COCO*_Gift_HalterJumpsuit_Leaf, and I am head over heels for it! Of course I do love a good halter style, and the flowy pant legs almost make it look like a long skirt from some angles. There are sizes for Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh bodies included. I think it'll especially come in handy for the early autumn days when you still want bare arms but covered legs.

*COCO*_Gift_LaceMiniDress_Raspberry first struck me as ethereal, then I realized just how much skin shows through the sheer parts of the lace and wondered if there's a word for ethereal but make it sexy? In sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, and Reborn mesh bodies, it has an open back with the top tied in a loose bow at the neck. I really want to wear it as a coverup for a BOM bikini while the weather is still warm, and I simply adore the vivid color.

Next I paired two gifts together, starting with the *COCO*_Gift_FlowyCropTop_PinkNavy. Isn't that a gorgeous pattern? The peekaboo shoulders are such a fun touch, and the lace trim is lovely. We receive Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, and Reborn mesh body sizes in this gift, and I believe that a couple of those were added so if you already own this please check to make sure you have all the sizes you wish. Then I added our *COCO*_Gift_LowRiseDenimShorts_TealGreen which are folded daringly at the zipper :) I'm almost old enough to remember the original Daisy Dukes shorts, lol, and these might even make her blush! They fit Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn bodies. Either of these can pair wonderfully with so many other wardrobe staples too.

I expect some of you may find this an even better pairing, mainly because of the green print and more casual style of the *COCO*_Gift_CropTank. It reads "Trust Your Journey", and boy oh boy, is that ever good advice! I almost jokingly said something about them having really good songs (Faithfully and Open Arms are my faves) but really I am in a place in life where I need to put more trust in myself and my future :) So no disrespect intended with silly jokes, as I do try to use humor to get myself through some rough stuff. This tank is cropped enough to show a slight view of underboob, and is designed for Legacy, Lara X, Petite X, and Reborn mesh bodies.

A little black dress is a classic must-have for any wardrobe, and the *COCO*_Gift_BubbleHemMiniDress_Glitter brings that idea to the next level of style. It was a rough day yesterday with the dental procedure, and I'm still not feeling my best because of the general anxiety. Then I got to add to the stress by realizing that I'm hearing chewing sounds in this room again, which means I've got another mousey visitor 😬. It was the other side of the room last time, lol, so we still don't know how they're getting in or why my office is so dang appealing to them. I think my being nocturnal means I hear their nightly activities more than most people would. But good grief, it was so loud I thought there was a beaver chewing on a tree trunk in here! LOL! My pleas to the housemate to help me were mostly ignored, so I'm sitting here trying in vain to stay calm. It'll be a fun weekend of cleaning, as there are boxes of craft type stuff over there that are pretty heavy to move around. My mouth is sore but I know it'll be okay in a few days, and the permanent crown will be installed (?) on the 11th of September. Yep, that's a long time and an unfortunate date, but their lab needs 3 weeks now. I am always extra careful eating with a temp crown in, because I'd had them fall out in the past and it is annoying to make an extra trip there. I am most likely going to my parents' for dinner tomorrow, and then I will figure out what the heck my weekend holds. Fun at FaMESHed

 Hiya everyone! Tonight it's time to celebrate the 13th anniversary of the FaMESHed Event, and I'm sure you know what that means :) Join their free group, by copying and pasting secondlife:///app/group/8ae32885-b174-3f8e-4a70-5df905f8f93a/about into your local chat, then you can visit the area with the fantastic treats for all of us. It won't let you in without the group tag active, which is why I'm sharing the link to the group as well. I'm so happy for them, reaching this milestone is absolutely worth celebrating and there is always a great assortment of sales offers from talented designers who create mesh clothing, accessories, decor and more that help us enjoy SL.

I start off with a fun little combo, partly for modesty and partly for the giggles :) The dress is our small Cottonade Fuchsia gift, a richly colored knit swath of fabric that drapes from left shoulder down to the right side of the body. There are sizes for Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. Then I decided to add the playful Blossie #12 // Merlina BOM Tights // Angel/Devil gift. They are a tattoo layer and look to be haunted by a pair of ghosts, an angel on the right thigh and a devil on our left shin. The tights go all the way to the toes, and the uppermost area is a bit less translucent. 

Next we have two more gifts combined into one sweet look :) The Belle Epoque - Khadija Top - GIFT comes in Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizing, with a HUD that lets us pick from 5 colors of the gingham type plaid seen above. I'm a fan of the style and the pattern, both of which work wonderfully with our *COCO*_Gift_FlareJeans_Blue gift. These beauties have a relaxed boyfriend fit, high waist, and pockets both front and back that add to the shapeliness. They have been designed for Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh bodies.

The *COCO* jeans also go very nicely with our [JUSTICE] PEARL TOP - FATPACK group goodie :) We receive sizes for Legacy, Perky, Legacy Petite, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, and Reborn mesh bodies, along with a HUD to select from 36 lovely colors. I'm not sure which is my favorite detail - the scalloped trim, the cropped hem, or the flared sleeves! Maybe it's the sassy V neckline, just right for showing off cleavage and a favorite necklace.

Have you ever tried on a gift that made you think wow, this is just too good and I need to share? Well that's exactly what *Tentacio* Skating day had me thinking! The piece called 'skateboard day' is in my right hand, a fun pastel colored board and a headset whose cord is dangling down a bit. The 'banana pop' attachment is in my left hand, a frozen banana dipped in white chocolate and decorated to look like an adorable bunny :) The pink bow on the ear made me think Hello Kitty of course, so bonus points for that detail. It all works really well with the casual vibe my outfit has.

For my final look of the evening, I decided to play with our [HU] Hania Swimsuit_Purple !! gift from Have Unequal. Well, to be fair I was playing with the HUD included ;) The swimsuit comes in Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, and Reborn mesh body sizes, and the HUD I mentioned offers 14 solid colors and 8 patterns apiece for the breast and belly sections, 14 solid colors for the edges, and the option to show/hide the belly section. So that's exactly what I did on the right, hid that panel for an extra tantalizing view. HUDs make me very happy, what can I say?

I am still laughing at myself for a little brain fart I had this morning...my family was ordering takeout from a local favorite place to celebrate a birthday tonight, and I picked a really tasty sounding salad that I'd never had before. The problem is that I apparently forgot that salad dressing exists, LOL, so I didn't pick one out. Since I didn't specify, they gave me balsamic, which is not the best idea for someone with extra sensitive tastebuds. I know lots of people love it, but I absolutely cannot stand the smell or taste of balsamic, so at least it was on the side. I promise we can still be friends if you like it, as long as you don't try to force me to eat it ;) The salad was very good, and the gluten free birthday cake was decent, so overall it was a nice evening. The weekend is looking busy, as I will be doing a video call with a family gathering on Sunday and then having therapy a few hours later. Happy 12th Anniversary FaMESHed

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're visiting the FaMESHed Event to help them celebrate their 12th anniversary, which is such an impressive and noteworthy accomplishment :) If you join their free group, you can head to the north where there is a sim crossing that leads to an area with lots of generous gifts. As of this morning you needed the group tag to enter that area which is why I didn't link it directly, so my link is the main one for the event itself. Once you've got your group tag on, you can walk up to the gifts and generally enjoy exploring the event. I saw plenty of tempting offers along the way, to help you jazz up your wardrobe and living space with something new.

For my first look, I chose the female gift from Ash. called Eden Dress - ALL. I did specify gender because there's a male gift also :) So this dress has some really fun options, as it comes in an original version and a 'less cloth' version for each size - Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Mounds bodies. The less cloth version is on the right above, shorter hem (one less ruffle) and flirty opening on the bodice where the white bib is on the original. We even receive a HUD with 4 colors for the collar, so that means even more versatility :) I feel like this dress would be handy for various types of roleplay in addition to everyday wear.

Next I brought two lovely gifts together to create this look. The top is our LEROY - Eva Cropped - Pink gift, a brief tank top with lavish ruffles on the shoulder straps. The bold color is wonderful! We receive Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizes of this cutie. As for the shorts, they would be the *COCO*_Gift_LowRiseDenimShorts_TealGreen, a gift ready to make Daisy Dukes look like granny pants ;) The name does sum them up quite nicely, and I love the way the front is open and folded down just enough to still hide the essentials. These fit Lara X, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn bodies.

I kept on outfit #2 to add the wonderful treat from ::WetCat:: which is their "Smells like Spring" Bento [Gift]. The little blue bouquet is held in the right hand, and has an adorable animation that has us sniffing the pretty blossoms. I absolutely couldn't resist sharing!

How about another pairing of two different separates from among the gifts? The *Just BECAUSE* Eden Top - FaMESHed Gift is also perfect for spring with its bare arms and midriff, and of course the soft floral pattern. It is provided in sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. I'm wearing it with the terrific [JUSTICE] DAWN PANTS - MINT gift, with separate pants, belt, and chain each in Freya, Isis, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes. Please note - the chains are no copy, so you cannot use the unpacking HUD to copy them into your inventory...please rez out and unpack the traditional way so you don't miss out :) There is a HUD included too, with 6 metals and 20 colors for the belt, so we can change the look as we wish.

My final look is a combo too, but both are gifts from the same store, Have Unequal. Their [HU] Haven Top_Mint is provided in sizes for eBody Reborn, Lara X, X Petite, Legacy, Maitreya, and Petite bodies, with a HUD offering 2 textures (leather or crocodile) and hide/show options for the waist and sleeve, plus 16 colors for the stripes and 6 for the metals. I have the sleeve hidden on the right, just to show you the difference :) Then we have the [HU] Haven Skirt_Mint which is a great mate for the top, in similar sizes - eBody Reborn, Lara X, Legacy, and Maitreya. It also includes a HUD, show/hide and leather/crocodile for the upper and lower portions of the skirt. I know I did crocodile on the right but I genuinely can't recall what I hid on the right, lol, I suppose the upper which is draped diagonally atop the full skirt on the left. Sometimes I get a little carried away with the fun of HUDs and distract myself ;)

Whew, I am definitely ready for the weekend! We had a birthday celebration for a family member at dinner tonight, so I had a very tasty meal with just a bite of an overly rich cake (chocolate with peanut butter icing) and I now feel like I need a nap, hehe. I'll be writing up a shopping list for the housemate shortly for the Saturday farmers market, then Sunday is therapy where I get to tell them all about my new primary care doctor :) My weekends tend to be busier than weekdays, but we have a new month in SL with loads of places to explore next week so I am eager for that. Christmas at FaMESHed

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post brings Christmas wishes from the current round of the FaMESHed event, which is open until the 27th of the month so we have plenty of time to browse and enjoy. As for the free gifts I'll be sharing in this post, well there is a gift area with lots of boxes that you can click to receive treats with no group tag required. Many of the boxes are empty for now, so don't worry if you cannot click some of them. There are still plenty that are filled, and I'm grateful for every single one of them :) I still get a kick out of the need to capitalize the word MESH in the middle of the name, as apparently some people were pronouncing it fame-shed like the little building in your backyard only famous. The real story behind the name is that they focus on original mesh creators in SL, so the mesh part is the key of this wordplay based name. I get it though, we read things in SL far more often than hearing them spoken aloud so it is interesting to learn how we are meant to say the names. 

It was really cold when I went outside for a RL walk earlier, making this cozy sweater even more tempting :) It's our *COCO*_Gift_HolidaySweater_Blue treat, a slightly cropped crew neck sweater in a lovely shade of blue with white snowflakes and green trees in the knit pattern. We receive Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh body sizes in this thoughtful gift. 

Another gift that instantly caught my eye while unpacking my haul is this sexy //Ascend// Avery Off Shoulder Dress - Red. The bodice looks like it is buttoned but fit to burst, with one of the straps slipping off the right shoulder daringly. The gift includes sizes for Freya, Legacy, Perky, and Maitreya mesh bodies. The deep color looks burgundy in my lighting, which is suitable for so many seasons and reasons :)

Pink Cream Pie knows that some folks spend their Christmas holidays in warm locales, so it looks like they're helping to motivate us to do just that while enjoying their Rae bikini. The top and bottom are separates that fit Legacy/Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies, all with a red and green ombre fabric that says Ho Ho Ho in white, in various fonts. There is something so classic about a string bikini, tied just so at the hips and in the back like this ♥.

Next I slipped into the beautiful *Just BECAUSE* Geraldine Dress - FaMESHedGift which shows off its seasonal flavor with the combo of red and green. There are sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies included, all with that great swath of ruffled fabric diagonally both front and back. The hemline is slightly asymmetrical, adding visual interest to a dress that is already loaded with it. I'm imagining they started with the concept of a simple tank dress, then had to decide how to make it unique for us. 

My final look of the night is the charming gift from neve called FaMESHed snow. This sweater is very versatile thanks to its HUD, with 4 colors and then buttons to show/hide the cropped (white strip), frays, collar, and cuffs. I've hidden the frays and the collar on the right, with all features shown on the left. It is provided in Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh body sizing. With this sweater as well as the one in my first photo tonight, I'm wearing the blue pair of Delizio jeans from their free fatpack we can find on the marketplace (and that I wore in last night's post). 

It was a quieter day than yesterday, since my only outing was a brief walk in fairly cold weather. That isn't very conducive to a long comfortable stroll, hehe, so I kept it quick and really need to find some gentle stretching exercises online. Tomorrow is therapy, so I'm hoping to find something relatively simple to blog for the evening while I'm unwinding from whatever happens during the therapy session. I expect another walk will be in the cards, so I wish it were going to be warmer than the 39 degrees predicted. It's exactly freezing right now, lol, which is not surprising. COCO Group Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'd like to share some group gifts we can find at *COCO*, whose group is currently free to join so these generous treats won't cost a thing. They have 3 rows of gifts near the landing area, ladies clothing and some accessories like shoes and sunglasses. I have always enjoyed any visit to their store, as their quality is excellent and they have a wide range from casual to more formal fashions. 

For my first look of the evening I combined two group gifts, starting with the *COCO*_Gift_RacerbackVest_RoseRed. This beautiful blouse is held closed in the front by just one of the buttons, for a flirty appearance that I enjoy. It comes in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. Then I added the *COCO*_Gift_LinenFlareShorts_Black, which have a dressy style with gentle pleats and rear pockets. There are Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya sizes included in this gift. You can pair the many gift separates in various ways of course, to create your favorite style.

If yesterday's celebration made you long for a beach vacation, make sure you pack your new *COCO*_Gift_TwistBandeauBikini_Gold. Here I wore the khaki skinny jeans with another great group gift, our *COCO*_Gift_OffShoulderCardigan_DarkBlue. I feel like that neckline would showcase a favorite necklace perfectly, from choker length all the way to something that tickles the cleavage. 

My final look tonight is the sexy *COCO*_Gift_BacklessDress_PaleGreen. Personally I really like them, and I think this would look cute for the chilly weather with a shirt layered beneath too. Thanksgiving was very nice, despite a couple missing people, the older of the 2 cousins tested positive so he and his wife stayed home. His younger brother (they are both younger than me, by 12 and 18 years) and his wife were wonderful company, and we had some intriguing discussions that helped us all get to know each other even better. My houseguest is staying an extra day or so, which means they can accompany us to the farmers market tomorrow :) I'll be taking the evening off from blogging as I usually do on Saturdays, but already have a few ideas of things to share on Sunday. Looking Chic with COCO

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I am pleased to show you some of the generous group gifts found at *COCO* Designs. The high waist is contrasted by the low rear pockets which I think draws attention to booty curves just right ;) The jeans come in Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing. 

I kept those jeans on here but changed into the *COCO*_Gift_OneShoulderTop+Choker_Blue which I think will pair well with many types of pants or skirts. The top itself comes in Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, while the separate choker has Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions. I really appreciate being able to choose which way to wear, with or without, since the choker adds something but there are times you may have a special necklace you already want to wear. It is helpful for those who wear collars with sentimental meaning also. 

If you want to get dressed up this weekend, I would love to suggest picking up this very pretty *COCO*_Gift_FeatherHemDress. Another weekend, another change in plans...this time it was another postponed dinner at my parents'. I'm fine and they are too, it was just a case of bad timing. As of right now I am still going to the farmers market in the morning, then doing a bunch of boring household things for the rest of the weekend. I will try to watch more Marvel movies too, since I am still way behind :) As far as SL goes, I just might try out a different mesh head since I have been in a Genus rut for ages even after picking up free group gift heads from other brands. Tweaking a shape to get things just the way I prefer can be so tedious, no wonder I'd put it off! But the results can be worth it for variety's sake. FaMESHed Treats

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is a part two, as I had more FaMESHed group gifts for their holiday round to share. Just have the free FaMESHed group tag active, and click all the pretty wrapped gift boxes you see at the various displays. Unpacking them all will be a treat in itself, seeing all the thoughtful ways that the designers are wishing us happy holidays! The sim might be extra crowded since the event opened recently and it's the weekend, so I recommend trying their cam sim if the main one is full and you cannot get in. 

Several designers realized that we would need nice warm sweaters for this chilly holiday season, and -Pixicat- tucked a trio of them into their gift box. Click it and you too can claim their Aria Sweater (Xmas) which includes red, green, and black versions all sized for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. The reindeer and snowflakes really set the mood, and I like the way the length falls just to the natural waistline.

Our gift from Just BECAUSE is their flirty Cami Sweater, with one shoulder slipping off because of the wide V neckline. It comes in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Maitreya, and Physique bodies, all with the soft knit pattern that makes it look so snuggly. With all that exposed neck, I figured it would be flattering to add a necklace, which I did thanks to [Glitzz]. Their gift for us is called Amelia Necklace - Gold, and she is resizable with a HUD that offers 17 gem choices. With all those options, this treat will easily match whatever you decide to wear it with. 

I am also a fan of the gift from *COCO* which is their White Collar Sweater - Christmas Tree. It is really a lovely effect to have the crisp collar layered beneath the bold red cropped sweater dusted in white trees. the gift includes sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Maitreya, and Maitreya Petite bodies. The white jeans making appearances in my first three photos this evening are one of the many colors in the Delizio fatpack from the marketplace that I reach for very often (and with good reason!) since they are a well-loved free gift. It provides system/BOM layers along with Maitreya and Omega appliers for each of the colors. 

Wow, the gift from Kaithleen's is a sexy stunner! This is their Rhapsody Dress - Bubblegum, a sheer pinstriped mini that clings to every curve and has a single detached sleeve with the option via HUD to hide it if you prefer a sleeveless look. The dress comes in eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Legacy, Legacy Perky, Maitreya, and Maitreya Petite sizing. I took this opportunity to display another jewelry gift, the Doriana Necklace from KUNGLERS. It is actually a pair of necklaces, with a gold version that has white pearls (seen on the left) and a silver chain with blue pearls. I am wearing that on the right but the blue beads are not visible from behind, so you will just have to try it on for yourself to enjoy it ;) 

For my final look of the evening, we start with the elegant Seniha. Yeliz Gown // Dark Blue gift. It has flirty cutouts on both sides of the waist, with pretty ruffles where the spaghetti straps attach to the bodice. It is provided in Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh body sizing. It was a quiet and rainy day here, and I missed not going to the farmers market but it was my decision so I am not complaining. It was probably better to rest and recover than be around people, even with masks, so I chose the dull but safer path. I have a few different possibilities for my next few blog posts, so tonight I will be making decisions and having fun exploring SL as usual. I had initially intended to blog last night, but was unable at the last minute so I am relieved to be sneaking in a post tonight instead :) Tomorrow I will be celebrating Mother's Day at my grandmother's house, bittersweet as her health has greatly declined lately, but it is important to me to see her when I can.
