Hiya everyone! Tonight's post comes from the Blue SL Event, which has about a week left on their current round and lots of $50L exclusive sales for us to enjoy. What you'll find here though is several group gifts that you can claim if you've joined their free group, and there are different goodies for group members each month so it is well worth the group slot :) As for the title, I've somehow developed a tradition of using song titles with the word 'blue' in them, and it's become more of a challenge as time goes by. Blue Savannah is a catchy Erasure song from 1990, a synth pop ditty that is romantic but not a slow song. It's not a genre I'm well versed in (pun intended?) so it was fun to look back and remember something I hadn't heard in ages. I also appreciate its reminder that home is where the heart is ♥ so SL truly is my second home. Eventually I might have to reuse some songs, lol!
Let's start with the flirty ELITE - BRASIL group gift, which you can pick up by clicking the word GIFT on their display rather than looking for the traditional blue and white hatbox shaped gift :) The top and shorts are each provided in sizing for Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Squish mesh bodies. I'm gobsmacked at how beautiful the design on the top is, and I'd love a recommendation for a Brazilian region to visit in SL that might help me appreciate the natural beauty there even more. I'm also impressed by that spicy rear view, lol.
When you head into the event building and look to the immediate right, you will see a special VIP group gift each round. This time we have two treats in one box from Intisl, and when you click it you'll see a blue menu pop up with choices of body sizes - Kupra, Lara X, Legacy, or Reborn. If you want more than one size, by all means please give it another click and pick another one :) The Intisl Elie dress gold is the beauty on the left above, while Intisl Trace dress blue is looking fashionable to the right. I would ask which one you all prefer, but honestly it doesn't even matter when you get to pick up both for free :) As for my favorite, that depends on the destination and I think the gold dress looks hot for an evening at a club, while the blue is shorter and feels like a fun date choice.
Our Nut & Squirrel Apsara casual gift outfit is a playful pairing of tank top, sleeves, leggings, and a belly chain that will all fit Belleza Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Reborn, and Juicy mesh bodies. There are HUDs as well, so we have 30 colors for the top, 30 for the sleeves, 20 solid colors and 20 patterns for the leggings, and 5 metals for the chains. Just use the arrows on the lower left of each HUD to see the next page of options. The top has a chain on it too by the way, just to help pull the look together :) Guess what I'm wearing around the grid tonight?
So I may have gasped out loud just a little when I spotted the beautiful @rOrO Cotton Candy Daisy Dress gift, but just look at it - can you blame me? :) Flowers make me happy, and this color combo is always a winner. The style brings thoughts of breezy summer evenings, maybe dancing with someone special to our title song. This gift includes sizes for Erika, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn bodies.
My final look this evening is the Jada Shorts Set Teal gift from Allure Couture. I'm a huge fan of their creations, so I couldn't wait to unpack this treat! There is an unpacking HUD so you can choose to deliver Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, or Waifu mesh body sizes. That folder contains the top, shorts, and choker & sleeves which are linked together. The top and sleeves have a gorgeous floral pattern, while the choker and shorts are solid dusky teal. I'm wearing just the top and shorts on the right so you can see what it looks like to omit the choker & sleeves piece, just as lovely of course :)
Whew, it's a steamy week out there! It was 78 degrees in here for a while, but it's down to 74 so I am feeling relief. My plans of gaming with friends for tomorrow got canceled unfortunately, due to plans that they forgot and can't change, but it's not a big deal and I still chat with one of them daily online. It's fun to have a gab session on the phone too of course, but I am very easygoing about plans changing since I've had to cancel things last minute plenty of times. I'm really excited about the new month and all the new rounds of hunts and events that are in store for us in SL, since you never know what you'll find at each of them :) I hope you're all having a pleasant day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!
