Hiya everyone! It had been a while since I perused the Marketplace for their latest bargains, and it was a successful visit :) I have a few new freebies to share, and I hope you enjoy them. They're terrific if you don't feel like teleporting around to find a new outfit, and sometimes the weekends in SL are lag central so I love having the marketplace as an alternative.
My first look is a lovely free dress complete with matching necklace from Fantasy Underground. The dress comes in 5 mesh sizes, and the flower necklace has a built in resize script. The color is so flattering, and the flowers really catch my eye.
Next we have what is technically an Easter gift, but I'm not one to let a label restrict me ;) This gift is from MDZ and called Easter Surprise, and is packaged in a decorated egg you'll get to unpack it from. The Aluna Pink Ombre dress is provided in 5 sizes, and have a really intriguing chevron pattern in springtime shades.
In this photo, I am listening for the sound of It's a Small World as I show off this free Minie Coat by LUT. The colors and spots definitely put me in mind of Minnie Mouse, and it even has a small hood on the back. The dress comes in 9 different fitmesh sizes including Belleza, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Slink, and there are even white fur ankle boots for default avatar feet (not shown). Lots to enjoy here for one of those cooler spring nights.
Finally we have a fun, brightly colored t shirt dress from [KS] called Bonnie in Sifu. This cutie comes in the standard mesh sizes along with flat chested versions of the XS and S sizes, so it's perfect for teens/tweens as well as adult avis. The side knot is an adorable touch, and I'm thinking it would look cute with a pair of leggings or capris underneath it if you want a long shirt instead of a short dress.
Nail note of the night: I am enjoying the marketplace gift from A:S:S called Metal Dreams, which I have blogged in the past, 8 shimmering colors in HUDs for Slink, Maitreya, Omega, and Belleza. A truly fantastic free find!
We are having a wild thunderstorm here, I'm shocked we didn't lose power over those last two lightning strikes that shook the whole house! Since this auto-saves as I go, I am more worried about getting it posted tonight than about losing anything I've typed so far, just feeling nervous in general now. Hiya everyone! There are a few $1L hunts around the grid that have some really fun offerings, and tonight I am sharing a couple of the Who's Who Hunt 2 prizes with you. That is a Doctor Who theme and I am new to that world so not very knowledgeable yet, but can definitely appreciate these prizes regardless. Then I visited a nightclub type area with lots of lucky boards, Black Fox, to see what new goodies I could show you from those. Let's have a look, shall we?
Our first look is the Who's Who prize from Emerald Couture, whose outfit is a single mesh piece in many sizes- 5 standard, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, Slink, and Hourglass versions too. I love the design on the front, and the smaller hidden one on the back :) Just a single linden for this fun outfit, once you find the question mark of course.
Another fun outfit from the Who's Who hunt is this prize from Cupcake Clothing, their Doctor Who #4 Outfit. It includes the wrap top and the freak'n jeans in olive, and I googled to see what the connection with the 4th doctor is. Turns out he wore a scarf with a very similar print to our top :) I'm sure I've seen scarves in connection with Doctor Who around the grid and just never knew which doctor, but I'm learning. Each part of this outfit is provided in 5 sizes, all for that little $1L.
How about some lucky board prizes? Head over to Black Fox and you will find dozens of boards, a huge assortment of gifts to be won including the lovely Kaiya-Asia dress in several patterns. On the left above is the prize in yellow, and on a separate board you can win the red version on the right. They have a delightful glow to them, and those little slits on the sides are eye-catching as well. Each are provided in Small, Medium, and Large sizes.
Another prize you can find on those lucky boards is the very generous BCF Christmas Set, which includes the fantasy dress, high heel boots, overs scarf, and ladies leggings which are each boxed separately. I think I like the dress best without the scarf and probably without the leggings, but with those sexy boots (which are for the classic avatar feet) but it's up to you how you choose to mix and match this one. I also appreciate that despite the name, this is not limited to a holiday.
Last look of the night, this is also a lucky board prize from Black Fox. This is courtesy of M.I.X. and is simply called Knit Dress. It's provided in a single size which fit me just fine, and is a very comfy looking loose fit with a flared skirt.
Nail note of the night: I chose a Marketplace free gift for the evening, from A:S:S called Metal Dreams. It comes in 8 lustrous colors, with HUDs for Slink, Belleza, Maitreya, and Omega. This is a terrific gift, and for free is a real treasure :)
My day...well I am still reeling from the loss of Alan Rickman, as if David Bowie weren't bad enough. Same age, same dreadful disease, it is unspeakably awful. I am trying to be my usual cheerful self, but a part of me is hiding in a blanket fort with a doe plushie, occasionally whispering "Always".

Hiya everyone! I have quite a variety of freebies today, and I'm excited to start the new June hunts soon as well. The beginning of a new month is always entertaining because of all the possibilities, between new hunts and monthly group gifts.
Speaking of group gifts, I love the new one from Nerdy Girl! The adorable boyfriend tee and pajama pants are separate so you can wear the shirt alone or match the pants with something else if you wish. If you enjoy the shirt as I do, you'll be happy to know that there are other varieties for sale at her store, instead of Nerdy Girl they say places like Westeros, Gallifrey, and Hogwarts to name a few :) The group is free to join, which is always good news.
Another casual cute outfit I have to show you is a Midnight Mania prize from Dumb Blond, whose MM goodies I've shared before and since they change daily, you can expect more in the future as well. This is called Just Chillin' in Ivory 5, and along with the mesh sweater and system layer jeans shown it also includes thigh-high taupe suede boots but I chose not to wear them because I wanted you to be able to see the shading on the jeans. The colors of the sweater are so soothing and cuddly looking!
For something more formal, I stumbled upon this beautiful gown with a goth edge to it as a free gift at Through the Looking Glass. I heard about the On The Boardwalk Gacha event and headed over, and started exploring the stores as well, and their branch there (Nuvoletta sim) is one of many with Midnight Mania boards to click. The free gifts including this dress were an added bonus :) Be sure to wander around, find those great MM boards in the other stores!
Random group gift time! This is the May gift from Prism, another free to join group and they have plenty of previous gifts out as well (wander towards the back of the store and you'll find them) but this one really caught my eye with the beautifully vivid pattern on the pants. The top complements them nicely and the unusual straps provide its own flair, making it quite the memorable outfit :)
Last but certainly not least, we have a lucky board prize and a cart sale gift :) This outfit is from Entice and is called Bang Bang in Sparkle Blue, a real show stopper with fun suspenders. I included a glimpse of the back view as well, you know I love doing that! But I also gave a closer look at the bracelets that added another pop to this outfit, the Heat Wave Cart Sale gift from Nerdy Girl. Their nautical theme matches the items for sale on her cart, and it was very generous of her to provide a gift of accessories that'll look amazing with all of her other goodies.
Nail note of the day: I chose to go simple today, A:S:S has a free set of Slink French manicures for many different skin tones in gloss or matte finish on the marketplace. Can't go wrong with simple or free :)
As for me, I've got a busy day on my plate tomorrow but should be able to find some magpie treasures to share with all of you. Happy thoughts and magpie hugs to all!!

Hiya everyone! I combined the names of the two hunts I'm showing prizes from, for a very awkward post title ;) I did work on each hunt earlier and now I get to show you some of what I found...
Here is a lovely, simple dress from Fi's Creations for the Autism Awareness Hunt, and they are #11 in that hunt. I like the flowers, not too small to be noticeable but not too big and bold either.
For something more formal, why not try this exquisite prize from C&N Medieval Designs? The pattern and the gold edging are amazing, and the mesh sleeves are separate so you can choose to wear with or without. Their shape reminds me of calla lilies, which is a fun thought for spring. The necklace is also included, which is lovely! This is from the Autism Awareness Hunt also, they are #14.
You can tell that this is another prize from the Autism Awareness Hunt by the puzzle piece on the front, and in fact it is from #17 in that hunt, Forsaken Falls. I really like the plaid tank top underneath, this is all one mesh piece by the way so it's an easy fit. I did a bit of research, the expression "light it up blue" is from World Autism Awareness Day which was on the 2nd of April and is meant to shine a light on autism as a growing health issue. I'm always happy to learn new things, especially about such an important topic.
Finally we have the dress I chose to wear for Easter, the adorable yet sexy April in Wonderland prize from Coull Creations. They are #9 in the hunt. I love everything about this dress, from the bow in the back to the precious bunnies along the skirt, with all the little touches that hint at the Alice in Wonderland story. I keep having to remind myself how amazing that this is a FREE gift!

My gridwide hunting was off to a rough start, two different ones I tried to start (each of which started on the 1st of the month so I did allow a few days to hopefully work out the bugs...) hit stumbling blocks early on. I will have to go back and try again soon on both of them. As a result, I have things to show you from all sorts of different sources, which can be fun as well :)
This eye-catching dress is from Shanti, a store I was already a fan of, and this is actually the first prize in the April in Wonderland Hunt. For this hunt you're looking for a small purple mushroom, and if you find it at Shanti you will get this lovely layered dress. Wear it with or without the lace overlay, it's a great look no matter which you choose.
Here we have a prize from the Autism Awareness Hunt, you may have recognized the colorful puzzle pattern on the pants and the ribbon on the shirt. This is a one-piece mesh set of PJ's because +Facepalm+ knows we like to be comfy sometimes :) They are #3 in that hunt, and I really do like this cozy pajama set.
Flashback! We're in the final day or two of the Kiyomizu Hunt, and I found I hadn't blogged this pretty prize yet so I had to remedy that! This is from *Shop ichiko* and they are #62 in the hunt. I love this style, and the colors are perfect for spring. When I'm in a girly mood, these ruffles and bows will get me every time :)
I did stop by the Kiyomizu Mall and clicked one of the hanging boxes so it would show me a personalized list of what I'd missed so far (you definitely want to do this too!) and saw a few more to pick up even at this late stage of the hunt. So I headed to #26, Crystal Dreams, and I am so glad they're ready now! It's funny, I'm not usually a fan of yellow for myself in first life, so I don't think to wear it much in SL either...but this dress is so gorgeous and is making me love yellow. The flowers on the dress are a separate attachment, and the flowers for the hair are 2 separate attachments as well, so you can adjust them as you wish or leave them off completely if you prefer.

Hiya again everyone! I have more goodies to show you from The Eggshell Hunt, and I hope you're enjoying them. I do find that Fi's Creations hunts are very well organized and the blog is usually accurate, which can make a huge difference for the hunters!
This charming dress that reminds me so of a robin's egg, speckles and all, is the prize from #23 Get Frocked. I still find myself giggling at how different I look as a blonde, well this is one of 4 hairs included in the prize from #22 Alli & Ali. Ladies styles are tipped in pink, the mens styles in blue, so we all get a touch of bright spring coloring added to blonde. This style is A&A Chrysanthe Hair Platinum Pink.
Here we have prize #24 from Darkmatter, a beautiful dress with matching earrings and necklace. Adding accessories to a prize is always a nice touch and much appreciated :) This photo and the last one, I keep thinking Game of Thrones but this time not Dany but Cersei, it's the stronger features of the skin I'm wearing. Blonde braids will always make me think of that show, can't wait for next weekend!!!
I am really taken with this Maiden gown from Ayva's Attic, who are #25 in the hunt. The color, the gathers in the bodice, it's so elegant!
For fun, I switched to one of the men's hairstyles for the last 2 photos, and I think it worked out really well. This outfit is from #29 Cheeky Parrot Boutique, and includes the system layer shirt and pants along with the shoes for Slink high feet. The hair is called A&A Brian Hair Platinum Mint.
Finally we have another fun outfit, this one is from Country Couture #13. It includes the dress, necklace (silver Easter basket charm), shoes for Slink high, and the sunglasses with a HUD to change colors! That is a lot of goodness in one prize :) The colors are fantastic for spring.

I have started Fi's Creations current gridwide hunt, The Eggshell Hunt, and interestingly enough I was literally walking on eggshells in a few stores as I followed the paths they placed to guide us. You're looking for a trio of eggshells, grouped together and in various colors, and you just click to receive your free prizes.
Might as well start off with prize #1, from Fi's Creations in their new location. This color is one that really speaks of spring, the pale new leaves of a plant after a long winter. The pattern is sweetly subtle, and I accessorized with the necklace from RedRose Jewellery, who are #6 in the hunt. The brown eggshells they used remind me of the eggs we get from the local farmer's market, they tend to be the same brown or a bit lighter or sometimes even greenish. Nature is fascinating!
Here we have prize #4 from Soul Designs, a lovely lace pattern that works for so many occasions. This one is more of a traditional eggshell color I suppose.
Another wonderful spring fashion tradition is pastels, and this dress has them, along with that sexy slit skirt. This is from Beautiful Dangerous who are #10 in the hunt.
I really love this outfit, wait till you hear all the goodies included...that is a dress, a separate sheer layer over top (so you can go without if you choose), the shoes for Slink high feet are included, and how cute is that bunny ear headband? That's included as well, and it made me think of Hello Kitty with the sweet bow on one ear. You can certainly wear this dress any time of year, and I'm sure I will be showing it off again and again. Hiya everyone! I am always excited to hear that PurpleMoon is having an in-store hunt, and this new one is chock full of beautiful prizes!! The official name is the Dress Me Purple II Hunt - a PurpleMoon Event, and it runs until April 10th so you have over a week to get there and enjoy. Purple is one of my favorite colors, so all the goodies being in that color family are an extra special touch. You are looking for 10 light purple easter eggs throughout the store, main floor only, and they aren't hidden in very complicated places or anything. Just click them to receive your free gifts!
In this first photo I am pleased to show you the prizes from egg #1 (the pants) and #2 (the shirt). They are both named Lula so are designed to go together if you wish, and are both mesh in the usual array of sizes.
Two more prizes that are meant to go together can be seen in this photo, our skirt is in egg #3 and that sexy top is in #6. These are both named Faye and are a beautiful set, or mix and match with the previous items or pretty much anything in your wardrobe. I love the balance of the long skirt with the revealing shirt, showing skin but not absolutely everywhere.
This lovely outfit named Heidi is in egg #4 and is all one piece, which makes it an easy choice when you want something simple but elegant. I'll be doing hunting later wearing this one :)
Here is Lolli, a beautiful dress with a great texture in a dreamy color, and I am so loving that pretty peplum skirt! This could be dressed up with a nice statement necklace or perhaps some colorful bangles, perhaps your favorite jewelry item you have stashed in your inventory.
This is just such a cute dress from egg #7, the pattern and the pretty lace down the front really caught my eye along with the fabulous soft color. Then I saw that egg #8 contained a matching sweater, and immediately thought JACKPOT! :) I think of this as an ideal date night dress.
As you can see from the dress in egg #9, it's not all pastels...this deep vibrant purple is the perfect shade for our Maureen dress. I love the style and the satiny look.
This is another versatile dress, the #10 egg holds our dress named Mellie, with attachments for ornament flowers on the shoulder and the waist. I think if your hair is down, you could dress it up with the waist flowers but leave off the shoulder ones and it would look amazing. It looks terrific with or without them, as you can see. I'm loving the colors and the little details.
