Happy Anniversary ACCESS

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post we celebrate the ACCESS Event's 7th anniversary, which we do with group gifts for their free VIP group. Just look for the pretty teal giftboxes at many of the displays, and give each one a click with that group tag active :) This round just opened and lasts until the 8th of July, so we have plenty of time to visit, pick out demos, and decide on purchases as well as indulging in these generous gifts.

My first look of the evening is the lovely Elune. Layla Dress - Pink gift. It comes in sizes for Legacy and Reborn mesh bodies, along with black panties and white panties in each size as well. The lacy sleeves are a beautiful match for the hemline's trim, with the corset style top adding to the romance.

I'm always excited to see a gift from Kaithleen's at any event, so their Ashley Romper - Green really helped to make my day :) The dropped sleeves and corseting look terrific, then the shorts section hugs every curve. There are sizes for Belleza Classic, Belleza Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Juicy Boobs, Waifu, and Waifu Rolls bodies included. We also receive a HUD, which offers 16 colors each for 4 different sections - sleeves, sheer midriff, boning, and waistline. Keep it all green, go all one complementary color, or go hog wild and do all sorts of fun combinations, it's all up to you!

This look starts with the Eliavah ~ Aiko Blouse [Inverse Pink Cow GIFT] which is a beauty with gently gathered sleeves and slightly cropped waist. Whew, this weekend was quick but busy. Xan and I worked a lot more on the MadPea hunt, and are still far short of the points needed to unlock all the levels. Last night we went somewhere that had 21 items hidden, lol, so it felt like Christmas! We do work on it a little each night, but are running out of time with less than a week remaining. Therapy was decent, and I am still trying to figure out what to do for my outings this week. Grocery shopping sounds tempting, not a huge trip but just to pick out a few healthy snacks and beverages. Green Freaks Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we explore the Green Freaks Hunt, a fantastic free gridwide hunt from SL Syndicate that (along with the corresponding sidewalk sale) celebrates all things green. Many of the prizes are St. Patrick's Day themed but generally you can expect gorgeous shades of green in all sorts of fun items. The hunt lasts until the 26th so you have well over a week left to find these goodies, which are hidden inside gold coins with a green clover on them. I always enjoy SL Syndicate's hunts and events, and if you are on the lookout for bargains I recommend peeking at all the stores' discounted offers at $25% off or more. 

My first look this evening is the ::WD:: Long Dress - Stripes which is one of 3 free prizes found at Web Dew. There are sizes for Freya, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Hourglass, Hourglass Petite, Physique, and Physique Petite mesh bodies included. I was drawn to the bold vertical striping and the single bared shoulder, and let's not forget the pretty attached belt. 

Another generous Web Dew hunt prize is the beautiful ::WD:: Dress Willa. In addition to the stunning asymmetrical hemmed mini dress, we also receive matching panties, all in Erika, Kupra Squeezed, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn sizing. The panties are in the same sequined fabric as the dress trim, as you are about to see...

The Willa panties came in handy to help me show off another prize without showing off too much ;) This is the Eliavah ~ Opulence Blouse, a strapless corset style top in emerald green, with black ruffle at the lower hem. It includes eBody Reborn, Freya, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Maitreya Flat, and Petite sizes. All you have to do is find the free gold coin to claim it. 

The prize at -/Harmony\- is their playful Irish Kiss BOM tattoo, a smattering of smooch marks in various shades of green that appear in some intriguing spots. The system/BOM layers included are Full (all of the above), Face for Evo X, Upper, and Lower body so we can wear them individually if we wish. The green looks great with the top and the thong panties, doesn't it?

My final look of the evening is the Normandy-WICKED Claws prize, a daring and delightful set of pointy mesh nails in green with teal hues. There are Erika, Kupra, Legacy Female, Legacy Male, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizes included, just hide your body's nails with its HUD and add these :) I would like to note that I found last year's coin before finding this year's, so there is still a prior hunt gift out that said 2022 in the description in hovertext. This one did not have a year on it, but the landmark inside says Havendale Village which is the new hunt HQ location. The store is a fascinating build, and I always enjoy visiting.

FLF Backyard Birthday Bash

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I am excited to share some gifts from the FLF Backyard Birthday Bash. The FLF stands for Fifty Linden Fridays, so you can expect some of your favorite designers to be there as well as some new future favorites :) They are offering items for $50L of course, and you will see a beverage cooler at each display that you can click with the FLF group tag (free to join) active to receive a special gift. There are so many different treats to be had, not just clothing and accessories but lots of home decor items that can brighten your living space too. This celebration is open until the 3rd of September, so don't panic if you cannot get in immediately since we have plenty of time.

My first look of the evening is the lovely -Pixicat- River Dress - Pattern gift. This sweet treat has slender spaghetti straps and is laced up the back, and I really appreciate the seams down the front that provide its shape. The gift includes sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. 

This adorable plaid dress is the gift from Valentina E. called Gigi Dress FLF Gift Edition. It is designed to fit the Maitreya mesh body, with puffed short sleeves and empire waist that really accentuates the bust. The solid colored bows on the neckline and sleeves are fun touches too, and the very short skirt makes it even more romantic. 

Next I paired two terrific gifts, so let's start with the versatile top :) That would be our group gift from Blueberry, their DTR - Crop Tops - FLF BDAY PACK. It is provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Hourglass, and Physique sizing. There is also a HUD included with lots of options: bra on/off, 37 colors for the bra layer, and 6 choices for the tank top which all have the BABE image with lightning bolt in the middle. As for my skirt, that would be the Eliavah gift of Dragonsilk Skirt in Black. It looked so good I wound up having sorbet for dessert in RL because it's the only frozen treat I have on hand, but filled a craving. 

Whew, another Monday in the books and I am glad the week isn't going too slowly. Yesterday I was startled by the landscaper (not sure what else to call him, the young man who mows the lawn and cleans up fallen trees, and lately has been replacing a low stone wall by the driveway) who was power washing the siding, and tonight he decided to use the weedwhacker right outside my window when it was almost dark and I was definitely not expecting him. He'd contacted my housemate about it, who hadn't told me yet, so it made for quite a weird surprise. Can't wait to see what he does to startle me tomorrow :P  LOL! Winter Shop and Hop

Hiya everyone! Tonight we visit the Winter Shop and Hop event, a 6 sim extravaganza brought to us by Linden Labs and featuring 120 designers. There are discounted items at every display, as well as free gifts for all visitors to treat ourselves while we shop for friends and family. Most of those are inside blue boxes with white lids and tied with ribbons, that you can just give a quick click to claim. I do think this season brings out the best in many people, so put on your lowest complexity body and outfit (think of the lag!) or just a full body alpha to be invisible, and head on over! All of tonight's gifts came from the Aurelian sim, as I find it best to focus on one sim at a time while sharing these with you.

First we see the gift from Eliavah which is their Amaranthine Blouse [Lunar 2k19]. It comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya mesh bodies, all with bare shoulders and delicate ruffles on every edge. The deep red color is highlighted by a golden floral pattern that is a fun choice for the season. I wore it with my Delizio jeans in white, which you can find on the marketplace for free as a fatpack of colors with system layers plus Omega and Maitreya appliers all included.

I love our gift from Neve, which is their festive '19 sweater and skirt. There are HUDs for each piece with 4 color choices, plus 4 metals on the skirt HUD for the rivets around the lacing. They fit Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies, and manage to combine flirty with cozy for a big wintry thumbs up from me :)

This gorgeous dress could easily be the highlight of your holiday wardrobe if you are as drawn to the vivid color as I am. It is our gift from toksik called Mellow Dress (Fucshia), included in sizes for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya. The dress has a deep V neckline and wrapped skirt with long sash down the left side, which I imagine would be soft and slightly ticklish. 

Next we see the versatile gift from -Pixicat- called Evening Dress (Festive). The dress and the fur each come in Freya, Hourglass, Physique, and Maitreya sizing, which means you can easily wear this dress with or without the fluffy trim to change up the look. Just think, Valentine's Day is less than 2 months away, so you could slip into the satiny dress without the fur, and add some jewelry with hearts or red gemstones. Practicality can be pretty!

Please excuse the way my right index finger (the golden one) looks in this image, it is a combination of my hair and them both having transparency that is making it look like that nail is short or misshapen. I promise yours will be fine, just don't hold them up to your face like this I suppose ;) I really like the shiny chrome appearance of the various colors, and feel like the hues they chose remind me of Christmas lights or glass ornaments.

I will most likely be showing you gifts from another of the 6 sims tomorrow evening, after watching what might be a frustrating hockey game. Today I was mostly focused on holiday preparations and communicating with those involved, nothing too exciting but helpful so no complaints here. The weather here is chilly and rainy, but that will change to freezing rain and bad travel conditions in the morning. I am not planning on going anywhere until Thursday so I am safe, but plenty of people will have to be extra cautious. Happy Sweet 16

Hiya everyone! Tonight we begin the SL16B celebration, which stands for Second Life 16th Birthday. I couldn't resist visiting the shopping event, which covers 5 whole sims and most of the participating designers are offering gifts to help us celebrate. I am separating them by sim, since it's easier (on everyone) for me to tell you that all of tonight's looks are from the Aurelian sim than to say there are items from 3 different sims in one post. There are so many people visiting these sims that you will probably experience considerable lag, particularly if you go in these early days, but the event lasts until the 8th of July so you have plenty of time to join the crowds. Suggestions that might help with lag: take off everything and wear a full body alpha, and adjust your settings (preferences -> graphics -> general, maximum complexity) so that most avatars will become 'jellydolls' and therefore easier to render. Funny story - when I was in the 5th of the five sims I visited this morning, I wound up crashing and was set to log back in where I'd last been...so I logged in to find myself in the fountain in the middle of the sim! Not what I was expecting, LOL, but my avi had a nice cool swim I guess.

My first look is the gift from Candy kitten, called *CK* Flower power dress Present. It comes in Freya, Hourglass, and Maitreya sizes, and you can probably guess that there is a texture HUD provided too. That offers 7 different choices, fun patterns like flowers and watermelons and the two choices seen above.

A great way to celebrate summer is with this -Narcisse- Ashley Monokini in its SL16B Special Edition. It comes in a Maitreya mesh size, in a bright crimson shade with tiny white polka dots. The intricate straps are so much fun!

Maybe you are craving something green instead, well [[ Masoom ]] can help you with their gift called Maple dress in Green. It was a hectic morning, thanks to weird internet issues that affected a large chunk of the East coast...that last photo was taken when I had no internet anymore and didn't realize it yet, but my pose wouldn't work and I knew something was off. What I thought was glitches turned out to be a DNS issue or something, and my ISP was downright rude when I tweeted their support account. Oh well, it was resolved eventually and I am very relieved. Vintage Gacha Fair

Hiya everyone! I am back with some lovely gifts you can find at the Vintage Gacha Fair, no group needed just click the cute Chinese take out style boxes at each display and claim a whole host of generous rewards from clothing and accessories to decor for your home. The Vintage Gacha fair is a great idea, older gachas that have appeared at other events and are being brought out so you can have another chance (or your first chance) to win that amazing prize you missed out on before. The boxes you are looking for with your gifts have such cute little faces on them, it makes it even more fun to find them all. The Vintage Gacha Fair only lasts until the 29th (my RL birthday) so you will want to hurry.

I love the style of this dress from Mistique, called Gurli Pink, which certainly lives up to its descriptive name. There is a single size included which is for Maitreya, but with the use of alpha layers you could most likely wear this on a non-Maitreya (including classic) body. I added a stunning circlet from Bite & Claw, their Ionna Circlet in Black, which includes a resize script so you can fit it to any brow. The style is lovely with its wrapped or woven look.

More accessories and another beautiful dress...the dresses are our gift from .Viki. called Sansa Dress - Fur and they are provided in standard sizes for each of 3 colors: silver (left), light brown (right), and dark brown. They deserved some fine jewelry of course, so I added the pair of OXIDE Eani Armbands which come with a HUD that lets you resize them and choose from 4 colors for the metal as well as 4 gem colors. I am also happily wearing one of the gifts from +Fallen Gods Inc.+ which is actually #01 of four, their Escapade Necklace in Gold. One of the other gifts contains the same in silver, while the others have system layers of fantasy style makeups/tattoos. So generous!

There are people in my RL who see Hello Kitty and immediately think of me, so this gift from Glamorous Sin brought an instant smile to my face. It is called Mesh Off Shoulder Kitten Brown, comes in standard sizes, and is one of two gifts they offer at Vintage Gacha Fair. My amazing choker is waiting for you in the takeout box on the Junbug display, named Dragonfly Choker Beryl. There is a built in resize script which is always handy (you can usually delete them when you're finished with them to avoid potential lag) and I am enamored of the colors swirled into the gemstone beneath our beautiful winged friend.

Another generous gift I am pleased to share is from Belle Epoque, Edie in Lavender with pockets. This cutie comes in a single size, which was not a problem for me but you may need to use the alpha system for your mesh body or find a compatible system alpha layer if you are using the classic avatar body. I paired this with our gift from Eliavah called Tevinter Necklace in Rose Quartz, with delicately carved leaves and squared spacer beads in a charming shade of pink. Jewelry has the remarkable ability to take an outfit from casual to dressy, serious to playful, or simply add an extra special touch to an already beautiful look.

I apologize for my lack of blog yesterday, I had some issues logging in and less time to try repeatedly because I was preparing for a busy day today. There are very special people in my life (my godparents and their son who was one of my best friends growing up) that due to general life circumstances, we only see once a year and today was that splendid day :) We had a delicious dinner at my parents' house, exchanged Christmas gifts finally LOL, and best of all got to enjoy great conversations with many hugs. It was a wonderful day for sure, and I am genuinely lucky to have them in my life. I certainly hope you have had a good day/evening as well, magical magpie hugs to everyone!!
