No Tricks Just Treats

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we have a few more Boo! Bunny Hunt 9 prizes to see, all of which you can find in the black and orange striped candies hidden in each store for a mere $1L. As you have seen in my last couple of posts too, these are wonderful gifts that are themed for Halloween for the most part, and even if your RL area doesn't celebrate this holiday you might enjoy the spooky feel :) Sometimes I get into moods where I want dark dramatic colors, and these are right up that alley.

The first prize I'd like to share this evening is from Indigenous, their Black Cat Outfit. The shirt and pants each come in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. The textures have such a luxurious velvety look to them, and thanks to one of my best friends having had 2 black cats I consider them to be good luck rather than bad.

Prism has a versatile treat inside their candy called Jezebel Halloween Dress Gown & HUD by Jezzixa Cazalet. It starts with the mesh dress in standard sizes and a fitted version for classic avatars, along with Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizing. The HUD for it lets you choose from 4 textures. We also receive 3 layered black lace skirts, one of which is labeled cocktail and another as gown length, all of which can be touched to access a resize script so you can get the best fit. Flexi is especially fun for dancing, since it floats and moves with each movement of your avatar.

Do you need to warn people around you that your bark is not actually worse than your bite? The prize from The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co., called BEWARE, I BITE Tee, will do just that, or at least help encourage social distancing ;) It includes standard mesh sizes as well as eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizing. 

I also found the candy at BlondeQueen so I could claim their BQ :Selene Top::Orange&Purple duo. These tops are shorter than I realized from looking at the preview image on the hunt's site, so I am guessing they were worn with a bodysuit but I mistook the picture as them being longer like the full bodysuit ;) I am not sorry though, as they are adorable! Each color is provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies. A handy hint I will offer in addition to the one on the site is that those construction barriers can still be walked around to get to the other rooms of the store.

I am wrapping things up this evening with a much more formal look, the elegant ART & FASHION - WITCH OF THE MOON GOWN. As you can see, there is a witch pictured on the front and a moon on the back, with pretty stars near both apparitions. The gown has daring slits that are revealing but still covers all the essentials, and the prize contains eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizing. Is there a single word that captures the spooky yet sexy feeling of this gown? 

It is so refreshing to have a day that is busy for pleasant reasons! My day started with the farmers market visit I had been looking forward to, and continued with helping my housemate get started on Animal Crossing New Horizons. I've been playing and loving it since March, so I was able to offer guidance while reminiscing on those early days. I had really forgotten a lot of the little details. Weekend Boo Bunny

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I found more fantastic prizes from the Boo! Bunny Hunt 9, and I am delighted to show them off to you. They are just $1L each when you find the hidden piece of candy in its black and orange striped wrapper, quite a bargain for these quality prizes. I even claimed a new hairdo from inside one of the candies :) It is very much to my taste, an updo with bangs and lots of colors and options as you will see. The clothing is mainly Halloween themed, but I feel like I have been celebrating that holiday all month already so I enjoy having lots of possibilities.

Our first stop of the evening is .EscalateD. where this terrific Shane hair is the prize the boo bunny left behind. It comes in duo and streak versions (I am wearing the streak, where choosing 2 colors produces bold highlights all over) and mirrors of each, with a resize script built in. There are two color HUDs, natural and unnatural essentials, each offering 40 colors to wear in combinations or one at a time. There is even a styling HUD to hide various sections like bangs and wisps. You are probably curious about that flirty outfit too, well that would be the hunt prize from Emerald Couture called EC Batya Outfit. It consists of a dress and thong each in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies, with matching shoes for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink high feet. I was drawn to the harness built into the dress, and that sheer panel in the back that explains the need for the thong ;) The bats on the straps of the shoes are an excellent touch as well. 

I changed the colors of the Shane hair here, using the Duo aspect of the HUD to pick different blondes that show off the streaks by looking very sunkissed. I also used the stylist HUD to hide the bangs on the right side, but kept the wisps. My outfit here is the [Ari-Pari] Halloween Ghostie Outfit V2 - BBH9, a playful pairing of shorts and tied top in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies. There is also a HUD included with 5 colors for the top, and 5 coordinating patterns for the shorts with the background color matching each top's choice. The ghosts and pumpkins look like they are having a grand time playing with each other, as I had fun changing colors and appreciating all the little details. Did you notice the tiny bow in the front of the shorts? It echoes the ties on the sides of the top wonderfully.

Next I tried a bold russet shade for my hair, kept the shorts from the prior gift on, and slipped into the "Freda" prize called Boo Bunny Hunt Gift Oversized Sweatshirt Orange. Fittingly, it does say BOO! across the front, and has that bare shoulder where the wide neckline just slides down...our prize includes Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizing. 

There are two hidden candies at Wicked Inc, and the female one (follow those hints!) contains not just one but two spooky dresses. They are the Zombie Dress in black (left) and green (right), with a daring neckline and laced up back above a very short skirt with zombie ruffle. That's something you don't get to say very often - my dress has a ruffle of zombies on it! Each color is provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Jomo Fox, and Jomo Werewolf mesh bodies. 

For my final look of the evening, I found the prize at Ink Blots which contains male and female gifts. This is the BBH9 Vest Dress for the ladies, with an intricate yet subtle pattern on both the dress and the long vest layer which are linked together and worn as one. It comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizing. I really like the colors for this time of year!

It was a nice day here, a bit of rain which led to cooler weather especially by the time I headed to my parents' for dinner. It was mostly dark out already, since that happens so quickly these days. I always appreciate being there, and we are usually discussing plans for the upcoming week so it is helpful to be there too. I am excited about going to the farmers market tomorrow, where it should be sunny but chilly so I will be wearing a jacket. Noirette Sim at Hair Fair

Hiya everyone! Tonight I have more Hair Fair gifts to show you, all of which in this post are from the Noirette sim. There are 3 sims filled with offerings and all purchases are between 15-100% donated to the Wigs for Kids charity. We are helping children who need wigs because of cancer or alopecia, and it can prevent bullying along with restoring the confidence of kids who are in the healing process. The designers have some wonderful offers, and there are several gifts for free or almost free :) If you want to contribute to the charity, there are donation kiosks scattered around the sims that you can pay any amount. The event is open until September 1st, so there is about a week remaining to stop by.

I am enjoying another dress from the -siss boom- lucky boards tonight, this one being their lovely Peppermints Pastel. The dress comes in sizes for Altamura Sofia, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine, with a 5 color HUD for versatility. My hair here is one of the two gifts from Ade, their Hurrah Hairstyle full pack gift. It comes in rigged and unrigged versions, and includes a style switcher HUD with 4 options. The color HUDs have 12 choices each in blondes, browns, colored highlights, greyscales, mix, ombres, pastels, and reds. The other Ade gift is their Hurrah Glasses, which are unrigged and include a HUD with 10 colors each for the frames, arms, and lenses individually. 

This adorable hairstyle is our gift from .EscalateD. called Castie - Rainbows. It includes two versions that each have two sections that can be tinted individually with the HUD, with V1 being top and bottom layers while V2 (on the right above) is left and right halves. The HUD has 40 amazing choices, brights and pastels galore. How cute are those bows in the back? ♥

EMO-tions has a great gift waiting for us, their *JAY* style in Black&White. The beautiful braids are pulled off the face, then cascade down the back. There is a color HUD with 8 monochromatic choices, and matching hairbases are provided as system layers plus appliers for Omega, Catwa, and Lelutka. 

This gift from Alli&Ali is truly a stunner! It is called A&A Thisbe Hair Unicorn Colors V2, and has beautiful curls and tendrils. The included HUD lets you resize the hair, turn the brightness off and on, and choose from 4 styles: with or without bangs, each with or without the delicate flowers seen on the right. There are also 16 playful texture choices, ombres and mixtures of fantasy colors that are sure to delight. Maybe it's because of the cream color of the dress, but I feel like this would make a gorgeous wedding hairstyle especially if you are planning a fantasy type event. The delicate blossoms sure contribute to that feeling.

My final look of the evening comes from no.match and is called NO_PENNY HAIR FAIR GIFT. There are high LI and low LI versions, and the fatpack of color HUDs includes blacks, blondes, browns, and reds with 12 options each. There is also an accessory HUD with 12 choices including stripes and solids for that fun headband. There are even hairbases provided, system layers along with appliers for Catwa, Omega, Lelutka, and TMP.

Hair Fair Gifties

Hiya everyone! Tonight I will be showing you some gifts from the Hair Fair 2017, a wonderful SL tradition where hair designers come together and offer selected hairstyles with a percentage of the proceeds going to Wigs For Kids, each style is labeled with the chosen donation percent. I tend to be quite the creature of habit when it comes to my hair, so I love this opportunity to see all these talented creators' work and pick up some new hair for a worthy cause. There are also donation kiosks in each of the 4 sims so you can help out even more if you wish. Tonight I am showing some gifts I found at the Noirette sim, and I highly recommend their very useful guide on their website to track down specific vendors if you don't have time to explore fully. I needed a pretty and versatile outfit to help me show off all these great hairstyles, so I chose an offer at The Liaison Collective (TLC) from Entice. Well, let's peek at the pretties!

My first hair gift is the generous TUKINOWAGUMA *TGW* Razo style, which comes with plenty of color HUDs for any mood or preference. There are 15 shades on each HUD: Blondes 1, Blondes 2, Browns 1, Browns 2, Colors 1, Colors 2, Natural Colors 1, Natural Colors 2, Reds Blacks 1, and Reds Blacks 2. The high pony is braided halfway down, ending in a soft curl, and I am partial to bangs and wisps.

This sharp style is our gift from .EscalateD. called Nadja, and includes a HUD that says 30 Shades of Inferno across the top. There is a section for the main color and one for streaks, with solid colors and tips or ombres like on the right, all in various shades of red. 

The gift from NANI is a playful style called Catherine in Dark Brown, with gravity defying spiral curls and pretty peaks of hair framing the face. Such a creative look, and the color is widely flattering.

Here is another photo you will have to give a click to see the full size, to really appreciate the gift from Exile. They have included Evie & Judd in their free gift, this is Evie and both styles work with the included color HUDs: blondes, browns, grayscale, mix 1, mix 2, naturals, natural fusion, reds, wild fusion, and wildcards. While I usually gravitate towards soft reds like the shade on the left, I am totally in love with the rainbow streaks on that middle one! The brunette color is especially pretty on this style too. This is also a good look at that beautiful dress I am wearing, as I mentioned it can be found at TLC (The Liaison Collective) and is called Entice - Island Girl Dress. Each color is $200L individually, or I highly recommend the fatpack for $599L which includes 2 bonus textures for a total of 10. Among the individuals, there are 4 solid colors and 4 tropical varieties with the exotic print on the skirt and a solid tone up top. The bonuses in the fatpack are a sunny yellow solid and a pale blue tropical. Today was fairly busy and productive, and it looks like the next several days will be hectic as well. Probably really hot too, judging by the weather forecast, so I will be hoping to stay cool and calm.
